I'm having trouble getting my extensions to show up in the toolbar. Every help article has you start with the puzzle piece icon for extensions, but this is missing from my toolbar. I've tried right clicking to 'customize toolbar' and I am able to drag a extensions icon around, but it's grayed out and doesn't appear when I apply the new settings. This is making my browser virtually unusable since I can't access my password manager, etc.

In short, the extensions icon is missing from my toolbar and no menu options I've found will restore it. Please help!

One of my banks told me i am running a firefox version that is not compatible with my computer. i am on an max mini. i looked for the version in the 'help section' and cannot find an about tab/button. how can i find out what firefox i am running and if it the wrong version how do i fix without losing all my bookmarks folders and passwords?

Mozilla changed the longstanding "Copy Link Address" hotkey from "A" to "L" in Firefox 88.

They have decided to not consider reverting this change, even though "L" is far less accessible than "A" and brings it out of sync with accessibility keys across other browsers.

Firefox broke copy link address right click context menu hotkey "A" again in Firefox 142 by adding "Ask an AI Chatbot" and this time I'm not sure I can get around it with an extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/link-copy/

Can this context menu option be made optional or something please?

I see there is a new AI chatbot feature available on Firefox. In reading the article about the various AI providers, I did not find information about who owns each of the chatbots. That information would be helpful in deciding on which chatbot, if any, I might decide to use. Thanks.

It has always been the case that when I closed Firefox, it asked if I wanted my open files saved and reopened when I opened the browser again. I needed to restart my laptop and I decided to close Firefox first. It asked if tabs should be saved and I said yes. After I restarted the laptop and reopened Firefox, all of my open tabs (I think about 35) were gone. Can I get them back?

I am trying to set up a new computer. I have customized the homepage and new windows to a preferred page, however I cannot customize the new tab settings. The only options for a new tab are either Firefox homepage or blank page. I am trying to find a way to have my preferred homepage open when I open a new tab.

I use a custom wallpaper, which has almost no contrast with the login password fields, which are all white, including the text, making them essentially invisible. I use firefox on 3 devices, ios, windows, and mac. I want extensions to sync across windows and mac (I know ios doesn't do that). When I first got firefox on my mac, all my windows addons synced over when I signed in but now addons that I add on my windows does not go over to my mac no matter what. I already turned addon sync on and off several times on both devices and manually hit sync multiple times on both devices as well. help?
