I cant log into x.com. Whether tracking is set to strict or not. I just get the same error. I have tried re-starting my browser and computer. I currently have it set to strict and have it turned off for this site. Why cant I go to this web site?

Dear Mozilla team, how can I delete the search bar on the bottom of the page? I want to put information on top of the site, but my query lands in the bottom and I have to put all back again in order to do the search. The search bar appears on the bottom left side of any website. It is very annoying and I don't need it. Even if I want to search for something, it does not give any further information. thanks for your help!

I'm running Version 108.0.1 on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro MacOS 12.6.2 Today I went to do a translation using the "to google translate" add-on and noticed it was missing from its place in the context menu. I go to "get more add-ons and re-installed it.

So why was it uninstalled without my consent? What can I do to stop this happening again?

Hello when i try to translate a word or phrase, doesnt have in list my language, which is Greek. For example i want to translate a word from english to greek and there is no option in menu to choose my language. How can i add my language to this list? Thank you!

I would like to have my tabs I use everyday reopen when I turn the browser back on. In settings I have checked the box for "open previous windows & tabs" However, when I reopen the browser the previous tabs are not there and I have to recreate the line-up of my tabs which takes time etc. How do I fix this? I am having troubles accessing the browser. I get to do endless security check every time I open Firefox for anything. I have to undergo several puzzles "I am not a robot" before any page opens and this happens every time I go on the web. even if I did this a Mn ago am being asked again and not only one puzzle to resolve but sometimes up to 10 in a row. This is so time consuming that I am now considering leaving Firefox to work on other browsers although I always had Firefox as my default browser. Thank you

Hello, I just got a new macbook air because fluid was spilled on the previous one. The older laptop works but the display is not functioning. So I can't use the migration assistant, which requires responding to screen prompts, which in this case are not visible to me. I also just updated my password. Is there a way to recover this data?

I recently bought a new computer and it imported the bookmarks that I had from my chrome account to Firefox after installing it. I already had a firefox account on my old computer and I signed into the new computer with my firefox account thinking it would make a difference but I am still unable to see my old bookmarks that were on my old firefox. Now the issue is even the firefox on my old computer was also updated with the imported bookmarks from Chrome. Please let me know how to solve this issue and get back my old firefox bookmarks back, please attach screenshots if possible.

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?

In the last few days, a transparent rectangular panel is showing up in the upper right hand corner when I open certain websites--Washington Post, The Nation, and Talking Points Memo, and this morning Kanopy and the Zojirushi website. It often covers functions like login and search. I can *see* the buttons, but I can't click them through the transparent panel.

I used to be able to press Enter in the empty Firefox search bar to bring up the (DuckDuckGo) search page and enter my search from there. Don't ask me why I like doing that, but now after the latest Firefox update, 128.0, on my MacBook Air I can't do that anymore. I have to type in the search bar to bring up the search page.

I know it's a small thing but I wonder if it can be put back to the way it used to be.

I'm trying to use Navigate360 to schedule appointments with my College advisor. It was working fine a couple of days ago, but now every time I try to access the tab for appointments I'm left with a white page with the nav bar still there.

why and or how can i update Firefox. i am running Firefox 126. every time i open the browser the auto update opens and fails to download. i tried loading it through Safari, also failed. anyone have a clear and simple solution? the forum seems to have a lot of complicated work a rounds. any help would be appreciated

Browser is not letting me choose the airports on Breeze Airways. No issues with using Safari. Also, American Airlines is sometimes spotty using FF, not loading the main page.

All the articles headings on ru.wikipedia.org have wrong encoding but the main text looks good.

I tried disabling "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" in the FF setting but I couldn't match the fonts using my systems ones so pages in Russian language don't look weirdly formatted.

Any suggestion how to fix it?
