I've disabled this for my google account. So when I search from google.com this behavior doesn't happen. But when I type anything into my address bar on Firefox to search, the first suggestions are from my search history.

I don't want to delete my search history.

I often use my search history to find specific things that I need, but didn't bookmark at the time. I need my search history to be saved. I just don't want to automatically receive suggestions based on it.

Is there any way to turn this off? Even with an extension or something?

How can I restore a previous theme? I had a "colorfore" theme that Mozilla offered a few years ago set up in Firefox. It was perfect! I could see everything clearly with my aging eyesight.Then one of my synced computers needed a new Linux OS installation so I signed out of sync on that machine. Installed the new OS. When I started Firefox the first time I signed into sync. I got my history, bookmarks and bookmark bar, but no custom colors. Now my computer at work has its colors reset to the out of box colors too. I have lost the colorfore colors I have been using for several years now. How can I get the colorfore colors back? When plugshare.com loads, there is a prominent search box at the top left corner. However it is missing the menu icon (see attached pic) as well as the search icon. This is happening on 2 different machines running Ubuntu 22.04.

Please fix. Google Chrome displays just fine; see attached pic.

After updating my openSUSE Firefox package from version 122 to 123 every frame inside each window started to have weird grey overlay of scrollable area. I failed to find any description of such a thing happening, let alone how to get rid of it. I tried removing build-in distro-default preferences and had complete audit of all my custom preferences in about:config but none changed that behavior. I even updated to 124b4 but this also haven't changed anything. Naturally, nuking entire profile is not an option, I might as well replace the whole browser. So, how do I get rid of this thing?

i have a problem with Rightmove.co.uk webpages. On the webpage where you can see house plans, I zoom into the plan, and the plan just cannot be moved anymore and zoomed as well. I entered Firefox in troubleshooting mode without any extensions enabled and the same issue happened still. I tested the Brave and Chrome, no problems there. I tested Firefox latest version and also the ESR version, both had the same issue. On certain websites I notices I have 'unknown errors' when trying to log in.

Usually this is remedied by either using Chrome or clearing cookies and the cache.

Both of there are inconvenient and result in a great deal of wasted time.

The usual response by these websites is "get Mozilla to fix this".

I'm getting sick of this.

I don't want to switch to Chrome but I will have to if this persists.

I used Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 and now I am on the latest 6 Faye. I like using Pandora on FF and have no problem on playback. How ever, the level of sound will start and default to some were of %50-%80. So I'll have to select sound/settings/applications and it'll show FireFox: % not at %100. So I turn it up, every single time. How ever this does not happen on any other webpage like youtube for example. I tried this with LMDE 6 brand new after full updates and no sign in's except for Pandora to get into my account and it'll do the same thing. I have a 5.1 Dolby sound system and my 4K tv hooked up to the PC and either way will do the same thing only for Pandora. This is truly not a big deal, how ever it is annoying as I LOVE to play LOUD music while I game on my Console(s). I fill it is in something with config:ff but I don't want to mess around to much. Any idea's?

That same link renders correctly in Chromium Web Browser (on Linux Mint 20.3)

By truncating the link to https://spectrum.ieee.org/ Firefox brings up that parent page O.K.

This behavior is not confined to this link in particular. It has behaved this way for some weeks (months?) now, in previous newsletters.

This is not an onerous situation but, if it could be fixed, it would be appreciated.

I've got FF set for https-only. But sometimes it will tell me no https is available but when I go to the site anyway it is https.

Is this a bug or is this something in my settings?

I would suggest within the last month or so Firefox has started to hang in a way that everything continues to "work" but I cannot switch tabs and I cannot do anything else with Firefox until I kill it.

I can periodically reproduce this by: Randomly select and copy text on a website.

Behavior observed: You can no longer switch tabs, enter a new location, close tabs, or really interact with the browser at all even though it is not dead. Keyboard shortcuts do not work either.

Hello! My Firefox version is 91.11.0esr Several months ago Firefox starts behave this way. It's much more convenient when speaker button always appears on tab. It's absolutely incomprehensible why developers did it with Firefox. Who likes to waste time searching for noisy tab. I wish it work like before.

I was using Firefox on windows 10 laptop, everything was synced with my account. Now after switching to Ubuntu I can't see my bookmarks, Just an empty toolbar. Now I don't have access to my old laptop, I sold it.

Any help?

On Firefox 124.0.2 (on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS), when I click a download link on a web page, Firefox doesn't download the file. I tried disabling all add-ons, but that did nothing. However, I found that when I deselect "Ask you where to save the files" in the browser's Settings and then click the link, it downloads the file to my Downloads folder. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find a solution for this?

I would like to develop an application that runs continuously, say, at a panel found in a kiosk. I am considering designing it as a webpage that runs locally through the browser but I would like to prevent the users from interacting with the OS or closing the tab and the browser. Is there a way to lock Firefox in full screen and hide the exit buttons? Alternatively, do you have another recommendation for development that is more appropriate, for instance a native app?

Both devices are recognized in my account. After running Sync, the history from the desktop is on the mobile but the bookmarks are not. Desktop is running Firefox snap v. 121 on Ubuntu 22.04. Mobile is running Firefox app v. 121 on Android 10. I have a copy of the sync.log but it's really long. Can attach if needed.

after last update of ff, the yt videos are paused. when press a start button or a space bar the video playing for a fraction of second and stops again. if holding a space bar longer the video is chopped is start - stop pieces. my system manjaro linux ( Linux 5.15.78-1-MANJARO (x86_64) ). ff version 107.0 (64-bit) thanks in advance Lukas

Whenever I use web-applications that use WebGL or anything similar, they are always distorted. And yes, I have tried disabling Performance Settings, but that only slightly helped.
