How do I get rid of unwanted popups, they keep coming back even when I check the boxes. I HATE them!!!!!!!!!!

I have items on my bookmark tool bar that I have saved within the last year. Recently whenever I try to make a new one, it won't work and will send me to a different website. If I try and edit the bookmark and save the changes, it will just change it back to a different website no matter how many times I try and change it.

I opened firefox to find my toolbar where my book marks usually are was compleatly blank. I started trouble shooting using the fire fox site and i found a way to restore within 5 days. how ever when i did this. it could only find files from 2009 (one year ago). so only has my really old book marks and i have lost all my recent ones. I think i might have updated it in the past two days. My computer also crashed once in the past two days.

i have aol mail. everytime i try to send mail with pictures, i get an error message saying server http,smtp cannot be found. seems like i cannot send any attachments.

Why firefox abort all AJAX request when you press the ESC button?

I don't see any value in a feature like this. As a matter of facts no other browser do this.

When I want to clear my browsing history using Clear Privare Data, Firefox does not respond. It clears the search history ok.

We are in creating a web page using web logic portal which will be integrated with some php pages. Both will use their own redirection logic. After entering some value in portal page and clicking a button calls a servlet, which will query the DB for retrieving some value. Then based on the result, we will do a redirect to the same page from which the button was clicked. This doesn't refresh the page. But if the redirect is to some other url it does a refresh. We are assuming that firefox is showing the page from cache. Please do help.

I was looking in my about:config for some clue as to how to remove "search with Wikipedia" from my context menu, or rather replace it with Google or something else. I discovered a LOT of "wiki" this and "wiki" that in my configuration files. "extensions.smarterwiki." in everything from my WOT to easygestures. I want to remove the wiki search from my context menu because the "edit" link on wikipedia pages makes me nervous. If every Tom, Dick, and 3rd grader can edit the page, how accurate can it be? That aside, I want to utilize other resources for search or reference but I cannot figure out how to edit it.

Could someone please enlighten me?

I'm getting a "javascript(void)" message in my status bar on numerous, but not all websites, accompanied by an inability to utilize FF on these sites; for instance, my company email. It'll log in and load the inbox, but will not open anything that has a hyperlink (read:anything off the primary top page). My only change in the past forever, has been uninstalling noscript (it was blocking EVERYTHING and I simply wasn't able to understand a lot of the functionality). I've checked all the blocks and settings til I'm blue in the face, but I do not see what the deal is that's causing my issue.

i do surveys for rewards with What do You Think, (WDYT). I cannot forward to ad.au.doubleclick.net from their page. I have contacted then and they had no answers. It's the only link I'm having trouble with. Is FireFox blocking it in some way?

When I try to enter a secure website, this message pops up asking me for a password: "Please enter the master password for the FIPS 140 Cryptographic, Key and". None of my passwords work.

In the advanced encryption tab, I have both "Use SSl 3.0" and "Use TLS 1.0" checked.
