When watching videos on YouTube or Amazon Prime, Firefox will eventually stop recognizing keyboard and mouse input in all windows and tabs. This can happen after just a few minutes of video or after hours. It affects nearly all input: typing or clicking in webpages, the toolbar, the address bar, etc., though I can click the 'x' button to close tabs. When I close the final window, a dialogue will appear stating that Firefox is non-responsive and allowing me to kill the process. This seems unusual, because the OS's system monitor indicates there is plenty of unused and available RAM and CPU resources. Firefox behaves normally after restarting.

OS: Xubuntu 22.04 Firefox version: 120.0 (though previous versions have been affected for the last few months)

Up until today video on youtube played fine. Today I can hear audio, but the scree is just green. Trying to fix myself, I read change preferences in Fire Fox. But I can't figure it out. Bitchute and Rumble play fine. I reset my desktop by turning it off. Same with closing down my browser. No help there.

Poco F2 Pro is hard crashing requiring device reboot, starting maybe a week ago, and has happened three times. I don't know if it's hardware related but I've not seen the behaviour in other apps. I'm not using beta version.

I am trying to login in to my health insurance website but Firefox keeps giving me a message that it can not access the information at this time. This is not the first time or the first website that I have had issues with. Do i have to switch to Chrome or Edge?? Is there a setting that will allow me to access the insurance website?? Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?

There are many cathegories to filter addons at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ sadly none to sort by popularity. A popularity filter to list firefox addons would be a great feature.

Speaking of great features, addons.mozilla.org should not use google-analytics.com Mozilla on the one hand promotes privacy or atleast makes the impression of doing so, but on the other hand tracks their users by default and uses google analytics on their extensions website. There are privacy friendly alternatives to google analytics, why did Mozilla decide to use an invasive bigtech option? It is very unlikely for mozilla to quit using google analytics just because of this thread, and even if i asked on the apropriate forum or email chances are nothing will change. It's just sad mozilla uses google analytics, there's nothing else to say.

Another question, Mozilla in this article https://addons.mozilla.org/blog/firefoxs-most-popular-innovative-browser-extensions-of-2021/ claims that there have been a total of 133 million visits to addons.mozilla.org However this site https://www.similarweb.com/website/addons.mozilla.org/#overview claims that addons.mozilla.org had a total of 10.9 million visits over time, which seems incorrect since ublockorigin alone already has 7 million+ users. I've always thought that similarweb is a reputable source, or maybe not?

Today, Firefox appeared to freeze as I was trying to sign into my Hotmail account and then crashed. Subsequent attempts to restart Firefox result in crashes. Usually immediately, sometimes after about a minute.

I have tried "refreshing" Firefox, running in troubleshooting mode, and uninstalling/reinstalling. I also performed the memory test suggested and had no errors.

There are no crash reports in the "Crash Reports" folder.

I have Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2, Build 19045.3693 (not sure if this is helpful or not)

Since yesterday any streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu will only have green screen for the video. The sound will come through just fine and subtitles. My Wildvine is updated, I've toggled the DRM on and off several times, no changes. My browser has been checked for updates. Not sure what else to try at this point.

Firefox crashed and I couldn't get it restarted. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it. I lost all of my bookmarks, logins and other information. What do I do to recover it?

"guh your tab just crashed" messagge crash my macbook pro. Also other programs. And yesterday i format and reinstalled an old macbook with catalina and firefox..nothing more..and the same messagge appears..c'mon guys.
