My Samsung S22 media output tab has recently stopped recognizing when the Firefox browser is playing media (YouTube etc.), causing the pause functionality of earbuds and the ease of pausing without having to open the app to stop working. I'd been using it for months with no issues and I never changed anything. I've tried every setting I could find, clearing the caches of all related apps, and reinstalling them.

I've downloaded Firefox as my server with Duckduckgo as my search engine. When I attempt to type in the search bar in the middle of the page, it kicks me to upper URL area. Any suggestions as to why the search bar in middle of page won't let me enter text?

I am an 86 y/o programmer with poor eyesight. I wrote my first program in 1960 and am learning html,javascript,php and sqlite. I frequently want my browser to 'forget' but in 150% enlargement the forget window doesn't fit on my screen and if i scroll down on the page i lose the popup, so i have to back out to windows (10) set my viewing to 100% and do it over. Suggestion: reduce the size of the pop-up and put the 'forget' button on the top. Are all the little icons necessary? I cant change any of them. And is the time frame necessary? i always choose '24 hrs'. IMO you only need a 'really?' pop-up to the forget button push and then wipe it all out. When i try to log into my Home Health software my account will not load. It is a redirect webpage. I have allowed it in the cookies/blocked pages tab. It still will not load. It is a blank page.

I will get a notification of a reply to a message or comment I posted and when I go there, the comment is either blank or it comes up for 1 second, then disappears. Also, sometimes when I click on a notification, it says "Your request cannot be completed..." or something similar.

What I've done: Turned off new add-ons, because it worked previously with my core add-ons. No add-ons have updated in the past two days. Cleared cache Updated FF Closed and restarted FF

Everything on FB works perfectly on Chrome. Since I also have a lot of trouble with forms and captchas on FF, I have to use Chrome to visit any site where I am going to have to fill out a form or use a captcha. That is, IF the site even loads, and I don't get a "this site can't be found" from FF.

I am trying to clear my Firefox history, and every time I clear it, the same four websites remain in the history panel. I've tried removing them one at a time, but they just reappear when I restart the browser. I've tried everything I can think of, and any help would be much appreciated.

A link opens automatically in Firefox as soon as I turn on my PC. And that link redirect the page to some other link. This is happening from past several days. I have attached a SS of those links. What is the solution ? Is there a way in Firefox to block such links ? Early response appreciated.

Firefox 112.0 changed the look of the Icon for bookmarks, in the previous version it just looked like a traditional folder, now it's a goofy looking three box like affair. Is there anyway to change it back to the previous versions look as the new one is very difficult to see.

I have a Shokz headset with volume and pause/play buttons. I watch videos on my Samsung s21+ using Firefox (more privacy, and easier to have multiple videos up with tabs comparedto YouTube app.

It worked fine up till today, when the pause/play button no longer does anything. I tried restarting the phone, closing and opening the Firefox (Ff) app, force-stopping the Ff app, and turning the headset off amd on. The headset functions correctly in other apps, just not Ff.

I don't want to uninstall and reinstall Ff if I can avoid it, but would that even work? I've done all I can short of that, but it still doesn't work.

It would be nice if once more I could arrange the order of the Youtube queue of selected videos to watch. I could do this and did so everyday until the 112 Firefox update. Do I need to revert to a previous version?
