It seems impossible to delete any email once I have read it that comes into my inbox, so the total builds up all the time. THis is frustrating and didnt happen with my other computer

Hi, I used to be able to go to my email with Foxfire Mozilla with one click. Now I have to go to gmail, click on user name, insert my password twice, and then go to my phone to click on "yes, it is me" and sometimes before that enter a code, and then go to update securty all before I can read my email. I don't need any of this; I am the only user of my account and the only person who uses my computer. I am very unhappy with this. Also, just recently I now have lots of popups, most about music. It isn't even advertising, that I could understand, just annoying boxes of useless information that I have to dismiss. What is going on?,

Nearly every time I swipe through my website collection one ends up getting deleted with the slightest sideways movement. A less sensitive delete would really help thanks

I would like to keep using imap (because directory synchronization and such) instead of pop, yet I also want to configure thunderbird to delete (expunge) emails from the server after a certain number of days while keeping them intact offline. The reason for this is that I want to keep an offline only archive because it is more secure.

I currently only see options to delete everywhere after N days or delete locally after N days, but I want to keep local and delete from the server. It looks like the server software my email provider uses doesn't have a setting for it either, so doing this in thunderbird is my best chance of getting ut done.

I'm using Thunderbird 115.9.0 (64bit) on Linux Mint.

Yesterday, I performed a complete reformat and upgrade to the latest version of Mint and I've been struggling to read emails in Thunderbird ever since. The text in the emails I receive is absolutely tiny - I'd say it was almost impressively small if it weren't so infuriating.

I've included a screenshot example of what I'm talking about. Note the size of the subject line at the top to see the disparity.

I've scoured the support pages and carefully followed the instructions given, but the aside from increasing the font of the program itself, there is no change in the text size of the messages themselves.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Whenever I open a new tab, I start typing into the search bar at the top of my screen. The problem is, every time I open a new tab, I am on google (which I have no problem with); and when I go to type whatever I need to type into the search bar at the top of my screen, the URL from google stays there. So, for instance, if I open a new tab and try to go to Youtube by typing www.youtube.com into my searchbar and then hitting enter, I end up searching www.youtube.comhttps://www.google.com/ instead of just www.youtube.com. I've tried finding somewhere in settings where I can change this, but I can't find anything.

I use Firefox on my Win11 and Win10 PCs. The Win11 version of Firefox has a button to restore the recent closed button, but the Win10 version doesn't. I wonder why?

I added another e-mail account to "Thunderbird 115.6.1" but its not being displayed in the column on the left, how can I get both accounts to show up? It does show up in the account settings. My default search engine was Norton Safe Search but now it does not appear as one of the options to choose. I cannot remember all of them. Bing and Google are two of them but not Norton Safe Search although I have been able to add it to the toolbar. Why is it no longer one of the options?

I know that Tor has this thing for fingerprinting and I also want to know If i can turn it on for Firefox because I like how it looks. Is there a way I could turn it on? I heard it's called fingerprinting letterboxing or something.

I have been a Thunderbird user since the beginning of Thunderbird. A couple weeks ago replies to e-mails started showing up under the original e-mail instead of just appearing chronologically as they have always done in the past. I cannot determine what I did to cause his to happen after all these years, but i want to change back to the normal chronological e-mail listing regardless of an e-mail's relationship to other mails! Fix the problem ! If I set up a set of bookmarks and web sites to be opened on startup of Firefox, then use them and save that list forever until I change it.

That is how you product worked until this week. Now, it sucks. And why does the header say that my options are controlled by my organization ? This is my private computer, belongs to me, not any organization !

I've been using the following in userChrome.css for many years

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?
