After installing a shortcut to a website that stages as an app through the Firefox Android app (Samsung 6.0, Android 14) when using said shortcut, if entering any text box the keyboard will pop up and rapidly close and open, making it unable to use. This problem happens on any text box, and with any keyboard. I'll attach a youtube link of a screen recording as well as a gif, though it's rather difficult to see the entire problem through a gif. merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

I've deselected to not have any shortcuts on my homepage from my history & they're still popping up. I only want the short cuts I save. I either have to delete them one by one or clear my history (which I might need sometimes) to get rid of them. It's annoying me enough to not want to use Firefox. I want a neat home page without any clutter.

I want to add a shortcut to my Android device's home screen for a specific location within a popular website (github). However Firefox doesn't allow me to do that, as the option to "Add to Home screen" changes to "Install" (i.e. prompting to install it as a web-app).

While the "Install" option also places a shortcut on the home screen, it doesn't allow for a specific URL, rather it just leads to the github login screen instead (just as it would with an "app" you wish to use). I don't want that, I want a shortcut to a specific page within github.

Is there any workaround for this? Can this behavior of "Installing" web-apps be disabled somehow in about:config, so that all websites can just be added as regular shortcuts?

I'm using FF Nightly for Android, btw.

I've been reusing android firefox again lately and I noticed I would have a bunch of tabs at a time. Then I realized that it was because whenever I would click a shortcut from the search screen it would open the page in a new tab instead of staying on the current tab. Is there a way to change this?

i have pinned shortcuts on mac. they do not sync with with my android. i cannot change any shortcuts on mobile. when removing them other ones pop up. is there any way so both of the devices have the same shortcuts

Im a regular user of Firefox Mobile and also Firefox PC. I'm missing a very important feature in "Firefox Mobile" is Shortcuts are not Coustomizable i can't order them and also shortcut isn't "Synchronized" with Firefox Account which is really frustrating. Became "Vivaldi" & some other browsers have this features!!! I used firefox like 2years but, If i want these features i have to shift from firefox to other browsers, which i don't want to. So Please Solve my problem and make me mozilian forever.

Favicons for shortcuts added to the startpage do not persist. In other words, when I add a shortcut to the startpage, the shortcut initially displays the expected favicon for the respective site. However, when I leave the startpage and then come back, the shortcut favicons are no longer displayed. Instead, the shortcut is simply a colored box containing the first letter in the name of the website. I have already tried the prosaic troubleshooting meaure of deleting the app cache (to no avail), and I am using the most up-to-date version of Firefox on Android. Any other ideas, or is this a bug?

I thought half my apps were gone randomly, then I realized they are all the ones that were web pages Saved to Home Screen, by Firefox! I'm very upset because there's no way I can remember all of them, how can I restore?? Android, no desktop fixes please!

I'm on Android 13. When I'm trying to add website's shortcut on the home screen it doesn't adds. There is button "Add to home screen" but when i tap on it and press "Add" button nothing happens.

Phone: Oneplus 8 Android version: 12 Build number: IN2015_11_C.21 Firefox version: 105.1.0

Steps to reproduce: - Open Firefox - Go to a website - Click the triple vertical dots - Add to home screen - Press add - Press add

This bug is still here and ruining the PWA that I made and wanted to install on my phone. The app isn't on the home screen or any of the other screens, but attempts to add it again fail with the message "This shortcut already exists".

How do I remove these invisible shortcuts? Can I do this through the file explorer? If not, can this be fixed?

Also please let me know if a video reproducing this issue would be helpful. I can reliably reproduce it every time.

G'day folks,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this curious behavior after updating to FF v112.0 for iOS - every time I quit/ close the FF app, it spawns a new dock shortcut '(even though I already have a valid one from prior use there which works fine!)'.

Is this a bug/ issue that has been noticed/ logged by others as yet?
