I downloaded Qwant browser some years ago out of curiosity then took this laptop offline. When I allowed this laptop back online, I noticed Qwant and disabled it, as I am accustomed to DuckDuckGo and no longer feeling curious, just want to get work done. Qwant is showing as disabled (under the Disabled heading, and greyed out).

However, when I use CTRL-N, the new browser window is Qwant, not Firefox, not DuckDuckGo.

I check that Firefox is my default browser and the laptop checks every boot-up that it is the default browser.

Can you help? I know there's a line of code somewhere but don't want to do more than I have -- endlessly search the settings, checking that there is nowhere that allows Qwant to load, let alone preferentially loads it.

I did not find this exact question after looking through multiple pages. I have two email accounts, that is easy enough I followed the directions online, and almost had this set up.. But then I realized I did not know how this would work. I want/need the two to be kept separate. In other words I don't need the first email displayed be from my personal account, and the second from my junk account, the third fourth and fifth from personal, etc....Ok, just hit me, I need them under separate tabs, that's what I've been trying to think of.

Is that how it will automatically be set up, or can I even get it to do that? If so how?

I downloaded and installed Atkinson Hyperlegible and set Firefox to use it as my default font for all websites (see screenshot). This used to work, but now fonts on sites are shown in a default serif or sans-serif font, not the font I set. It stopped working maybe a month ago (October 2023).

What can I try to fix this?

How can I stop Firefox refreshing each time I have to leave to approve a purchase or get Info for a form please. It's so frustrating. I literally tap back on the window and it updates. No one seems to know why.

I would rather not change browsers just to use USPS.com. Can you direct me to correct settings so that I can use Firefox?

Boxes in forms on websites don't show up clearly. I cannot tell if I've checked the box or not. Also columns in graphs don't line up. I'm guessing I set up something incorrectly in Firefox browser settings, but I have no idea what.

I am using an older OSx version which I am happily using Firefox 78.15 with no issues. Last week I easily attended meetings via Google Meets with no problems to date, until today.

All of a sudden it states that my browser doesnt support it. I have tried all workaround, uninstalled add-ons etc.

Was there a sudden change? This will affact my day to day work if meets no longer works.

Any information please help

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

Long time user (love it) but the browser is consuming a lot of memory. With the same windows open in Chrome, Firefox is consuming 5 times the amount making the system slower glitchy.

This has been an issue for awhile and I checked all the posted solutions. Either the software is consuming an that is normal or something is running in the background. Firefox is at 1831.5 MB as I type this.

Can I uninstall then reinstall? or is everything going to return?

Why is the print on my website (angeleducators.com) so tiny in Firefox? It looks much better on Chrome and Safari.

I have been using Thunderbird for many years, and really like it - until two recent updates (sorry!). I am running Ubuntu 22.04, and Thunderbird 115.4.1. One now has a column taken on the left which is unnecessary, and a section at the top which is above the menus with e.g. File... but I would like my File menu at the top, as it used to be. The second issue is more frustrating - the search facility, where one can find the emails being sought, allows me to search by many options, and I was able to display the results sorted by subject, size or my normal was by date, but I never use the message threads as that is rarely of interest, and I can sort on that using the message subject if needed. Now, when I search the results are ONLY in the message threads, and if I try to sort by date, I lose all information, and the ONLY option is to see the messages by thread which is no use to me! How can I restore good old Thunderbird - the version I enjoy using (or have the functionality I had restored)?! Many thanks,

I am trying to add a MS365 mail account to Thunderbird 115.4.2 and keep getting a mail fail message, telling me the login failed, I am receiving mail into this mailbox without issue but sending doesn't work. I get an error message with 3 options, retry, enter a new password or cancel. Enter new password doesn't work.

I have set up , as far as I can tell, correctly, the password on the account works for incoming mail. The default smtp server for this mailbox is correct: smtp.office.365.com, port 587, STARTTLS, Oauth2 and my correct mail address for this account. Any thoughts as to what I am not doing?

I work with my tabs a lot. When I open an attachment, Thunderbird opens a new tab and buts the content of the attachment (pdf) into a new tab. Often I need to save my work and stop working that day, and just let my computer go into sleep mode with Thunderbird still open in windows. In the previous versions, I could just start working the next day, and all my tabs are populated with the attachments and information I left open the day before. With this new update 115.4.2 (32-bit) it does not retain any of the information in any of the tabs that were previously left open. It only happens when the computer has been sleeping overnight or for an extended period of time. If I put the computer to sleep and then wake it up pretty quickly it keeps the tabs just fine. Very frustrating

I somehow activated the number of emails and their volume used and can't find a way to undo this. This ad annoys me. I have win 11/64-bit and Thunderbird 115.4.2 (64-bit) running
