I have used message filters for some years with complete success. Recently when an email is moved by a filter, either on initial receipt or on manual run, the message appears in the correct folder okay but is not removed from the inbox. i.e. it appears in both. If I delete it from the inbox it gets deleted from the folder as well. !! I am not aware of having changed any settings. Can anyone explain where I'm going wrong, please? John

Firefox browser crashes whenever uploading or downloading is tried. It seems website independent, and even a trial to start download from an email crashes the browser. Report IDs for some of the submitted crash reports:

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. After I boot my computer and start Thunderbird, It starts my firefox browser and loads this page https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/115.0/holidayeoy/

I cant get it to stop doing this. What weird is if I shut down thunderbird and restart it the above page dosnt show up. It only pops up after I boot my computer and run thunderbird the first time. I also deleted all cookies but didnt help. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

I can not change my font size. I will restart my donation when you fix it, or I will move on; I cannot use it as is. I'm using Google instead which I do not like ...

Please, I would like your assistance to the following issue.

It's about when creating an existing account on Thunderbird application. Creating a Google mail account, or Yahoo! account (IMAP setting up). Or creating on POP3 module my mail account that I have on my internet provider.

So, the question/problem is, when I create account, all settings are being created (settings I mean incoming mail server, ports, etc), the authentication of username and password is passed, and finally account is created, with inbox folder, and immediately automatic getting messages begins. And, all other folders under inbox are being created/loaded. What I want to ask is if there is a technique, after account creation, only the inbox folder to be created empty, then not starting an automatic getting messages, and only if I click on inbox folder or press the get messages button, just then, the getting messages and folders begin. Just something like say disable automatic getting messages when creating existing account.

Is there any way to make this?

To receive emails, I'm asked for a password--I've entered every password I know that is connected to my email accounts and provider but I'm still asked for a password. Over and over it happens. Then, all of a sudden, it works.

I added another e-mail account to "Thunderbird 115.6.1" but its not being displayed in the column on the left, how can I get both accounts to show up? It does show up in the account settings. Running Thunderbird 115.6.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10. I can add an EVENT to any of my 5 calendars in the dropdown. But when I try to add a TASK, only 4 calendars are offered. Naturally, it's the missing calendar (xxx@gmail.com) I need!

Suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

I've tried to login to Falcon using my usual Firefox browser and it's struggling to load and just whirling around.

It was working fine before Christmas, so has been an update from Mozilla that's causing an issue and do you have any recommended fixes.

Since yesterday afternoon ( March 26 ), I have been unable to send emails via Thunderbird but I can receive them. When I attempt to send an email I get an error message as shown. Could someone assist me in resolving this problem

I want to find to get rid of this or find the source of this so I can delete it.

In "about:policies" there are 2 Active Policies: "DisableTelemetry", and "DisableDefaultBrowserAgent" Also, in "about:policies" I'm not sure if it's related, but there is a long list of policies there too.
