Suddenly I can not receive my emails on Thunderbird. They do show up on my cell phone. When I send an email, I get the following, "Your message was sent, but a copy was not placed in your Sent folder due to network or file access errors. What can I do?? I run a. Thunderbird v 78.14.0 (64-bit) on a Macbook Pro 13"mid 2012 with Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite) b. Thunderbird v 115.5.1 (64-bit) on a Macbook Pro 15" mid 2012 with macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina)

How do I make happen, that I sync the calendars in both Thunderbirds constantly, i.o.w. instantly (like for example the iMAP emails do)??

I find the option for new calendars: "On the network" ... Which network is here meant??? In the help there is not much info about it. I am not using and will not use Google or any kind of "social media" (!)

Can I use my own homepage host (which has some webspace left) in order to sync? Or for example an online storage like mega.nz ?

Or could the both macs just sync the thunderbird calendars just via WiFi/WLAN directly (AirDrop ?) or via Bluetooth ??

It would be so great if calendar sync would be as easy as the emails do!

It seems that e-mails from one particular e-mail address, solidifi_values@solidifi.com are being blocked or filtered out as spam. I need Thunderbird to recognize this address and allow all e-mails from this address to be delivered to me. This is the second time I have posted this request. I have been using Thunderbird for some time and it has served me well. I used it to manage my gmail accounts with encryption and so on.

Recently I have deleted one of my gmail accounts and when I launch it Thunderbird asks me to log in to that account. "Sign in to continue to Mozilla Thunderbird Email" And I am supposed to enter my email.

I have checked the account settings: the old account (let's call it old@gmail.com) is no longer there. I have also removed the outgoing SMTP server for the old account.

I do not know how to stop the app from asking me to log in to an nonexistent account.

I visited Twitter and Facebook looking to contact Graham Hancock. I had to signup. But now everytime I open my browser ---- Twitter and Facebook automatically open up. HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE 2.

I have been using Thunderbird for a year. It is ok, but some problems are borderline un-tolerable. I have ~3500 emails in my IMAP account. I would like to keep more for a deeper search, but ok - I could handle that. And once in a while, about every month, I am doing something and the Thunderbird decides to re-download all my messages. And it locks me out of all emails for about 2 hours while this process is ongoing. I cannot open emails, I cannot answer - nothing.

I have no "cleaning" software, I do not mess up with the database file.

Is there a way to avoid this re-download? If not, is it possible to avoid the lock-out, to get emails usable while it does it - for example, download the most recent emails first and make them visible at least?

I had a crash on my desktop PC, possibly due to an erroneous action of mine, which occurred on December 20th, which has ended with my PC, which after entering the password, the screen locks to black.

My Kaiser website kp.org can't come up...the following error message:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

As of today, I can no longer send or receive emails in Thunderbird. No settings were changed. I checked and everything is set up the way it should be. Bluehost also confirmed it all looks good.

SO WHY DID THUNDERBIRD DECIDE TO STOP WORKING TODAY? Fortunately I can still get the email within Webmail, but I prefer not to do that, since all my folders aren't set up there. Any ideas what caused this and more importantly, how can I fix it? I do have the latest version of TB.

The images show that it just sits there for a long time trying to send and then the other shows the resulting error message.

i use firefox on ubuntu and a dropdown terminal app called tilda. i configured the F1 key in the system to bring down the tilda terminal. it works in every other application, just when firefox is in front, the F1 key does nothing. it wasn't the case before, now it is.

I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

Hello, I moved Thunderbird data to a new computer according to your instructions via a USB drive On the target computer everything goes well until point 9 of your instructions. "Choose to replace your current data when prompted." However, this screen does not appear. I open Thunderbird, but then only the screen to enter the email data appears. Had to wipe old Win 11 due to corruption. When setting up from scratch, I use 3 gmail accounts. However when I downloaded Tbird, trying to set up myt 3 gmail accounts, Gmail will NOT authorize Tbird. I have tried all advice that I've seen on forums and on YouTubes. None work. Contacting Gmail is impossible. Forums are not providing any solutions. Does anyone have a proven fix?
