My sign-in ID is aaaan email that has been cancelled. As long as they don't asl me to retrieve any codes oranything it works of course. If anything is sent to that email I can not retrieve it. Usually kepping me out of Fire fox. I need to see if amyonr know how to change your sign-in ID>

Re-booting following a power failure, I entered my pin & received a message something like, "Would you like to sign out? If you continue you risk losing personal data. You can protect your data by signing out, then signing in again". So I signed out, then signed in again and the boot proceeded but it was like a brand new installation. Desktop background was Windows blue, about half my desktop icons gone, all default apps reset, in Firefox all my plug-ins/extensions gone, all my bookmarks gone. And Windows Settings now won't let me set Firefox as the default browser and when FF offers to set itself as the default browser, that doesn't work either.

I've got the feeling this is some kind of identity issue gone awry but I don't know how to fix it. Hoping someone on this forum recognizes the problem, and knows a solution. Thanks for any help offered.

I am using the latest version of firefox nightly. I notice this on another PC that shares the same profile. However one of my PCs doesn't take this long and it uses the same profile as well. It also seems that the pinned tabs are not loading correctly because I get errors with those pages too.

I choose a new theme. After a while, I close Firefox. When I start Firefox again, my chosen theme appears briefly, then the default theme replaces it. Why? FYI: it doesn't happen with just one theme.

ATT made me change my email password which restored my access to email on yahoo. Thunderbird isn't accepting the new password. (It did open to show my emails going back to 4/17/2023 after I entered the new password.) I get a message that log in to server failed. Then a window opens to enter new password. Already entered the new (correct) password that works on yahoo. How do I get Thunderbird to work again?

Windows 10. Thunderbird 115.8.0 While trying to figure out why my taskbar badge says I have 99+ unread emails (for the record, I only have 7), I hovered over the tray icon, and it says I have over 4 billion (with a B!) unread emails. That's not even possible with the email address I'm using it for. Why would this be like this, and how do I get it to be accurate?

Scenario: I have two E-Mails configured in thunderbird. For simplicity, let's assume they are: `alice@gmail.com` and `bob@cock.li` .

I have configured both via SMTP, and they are *totally different* SMTP servers (Gmail vs. cock.li)

If I compose a message from "alice@gmail.com" to "bob@cock.li", then when I reply from Bob's inbox in Thunderbird, everything is OK.

However, if I compose a message from "alice@gmail.com" to "bob.extra@cock.li", using the `.` alias feature of cock.li, then although Bob gets the message in his inbox, clicking "Reply" will actually set "From" as "alice@gmail.com" and "To" as "bob.extra@cock.li" !

To be very clear: this happens when clicking reply in Bob's inbox in Thunderbird.

I think this is a Thunderbird issue because:

• It happens even if I compose the E-Mail from Alice's webmail (i.e. Browser) (Note: Alice still exists in Thunderbird)
• It DOES NOT happen if Alice DOES NOT exist in Thunderbird
• It DOES NOT happen if I try and reply as Bob via cock.li's webmail (i.e. Browser)

My guess is somehow when Thunderbird sees both Alice and Bob as valid accounts in Thunderbird, but the recipient was an aliased version of Bob, it somehow gets confused.

Receiving this error: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

My desktop app redirects user to a login screen on Firefox, and I want to automate it using Selenium. My current workflow: 1. Launch Selenium-controlled Firefox browser using GeckoDriver 2. Click on "Login" button on my desktop app. The desktop app launches the login screen on user's OS default browser using the default user profile (in which case I set in profiles.ini to the temp profile copy created by Selenium). 3. I've got notifications informing me with various sentences. That my account has been hacked, Scammers have your passwords, your card details have been stolen. These messages are only in Notifications not one email received. I feel they are scams. Anyone else had this. All my accounts are locked down so I'm not alarmed. And all is fine. I'm trying to change the appearance of the "Bookmarks Toolbar / Chevron >>" popup menu, which (after version 88) has turned bright white with extra padding between menu items and rounded corners.

I'm a fan of system menus, so I would really like the popup menu to look like the regular bookmarks menu from the top menu bar (see attached image).

I also like the subtle chiseled vertical line separating the favicons and the descriptions, and the 1px gray border around the menu, plus square corners.

I took a guess at some of the variable names, but only the menu's background color has changed.

Maybe someone knows how to change other attributes such as border color, radius, menu-item-height, padding, and add in the 3D vertical column line?

I send .doc and .pdf files to my customers. When creating the outgoing email message and attach a file, I used to be able to see the file in the preview pane. I can no longer see the preview. Please help. This feature does work for jpg, tiff, and other image files.
