Why can I see my e-mail messages and delete them for my djclwebster@saveourchurch.org, but not on my dwebster@saveourchurch.org account or the info@saveourchurch.org Should I "uninstall" Thunderbird to get back the older version or is there a solution for the new update?

I'm getting this when I try to install Thunderbird: "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". I don't know what to do. Hope someone can help. thanks, Fred

Worked flawlessly until .0.1 update. Now when I pinch out (or in) nothing happens. I checked about:config for pinch and all the settings seem to be properly in place.

IS FIREFOX NOW POLITICALLY DOMINATED? I AM SHOCKED AFTER BELIEVING THAT FIREFOX WAS NOT BLOCKING INFORMATION ON THE WEB THAT THEY DIDN'T POLITICALLY AGREE WITH! NOW I FIND OUT THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT FIREFOX AND ALL THEY HAVE IS THE STANDARD ASK A QUESTION FROM THE COMMUNITY! THERE ARE TOO MANY GLITCHES WITH DOWNLOADING THEIR UPDATES AND COMPLETELY LOSING MY SAVED PASSWORDS AND NOW THIS BROWSER HAS BLOCKED INFORMATION POSTED ON A NEWS ARTICLE THAT SHOWS TWITTER FEEDS BY THE PRIOR TWITTER ADMIN THAT HAS BEEN FIRED. I HAVE THE STANDARD SECURITY AND DO TRUST THE SITE THAT I AM ON BUT WITHOUT EXPLANATION FIREFOX HAS BLOCKED THOSE FEEDS IN THE ARTICLE. CERTAINLY NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT MY BROWSING BUT TO BLOCK AN INTENTIONAL POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE! I NO LONGER WANT TO TRUST FIREFOX/MOZILLA WITH MY BROWSING CAPABILITIES ESPECIALLY KNOWING IT IS ONLY VOLUNTEERS AND NOT SUPERVISED OR ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GIVE ANSWERS!

I have been using Thunderbird for some time and it has served me well. I used it to manage my gmail accounts with encryption and so on.

Recently I have deleted one of my gmail accounts and when I launch it Thunderbird asks me to log in to that account. "Sign in to continue to Mozilla Thunderbird Email" And I am supposed to enter my email.

I have checked the account settings: the old account (let's call it old@gmail.com) is no longer there. I have also removed the outgoing SMTP server for the old account.

I do not know how to stop the app from asking me to log in to an nonexistent account.

I have just discovered Pocket now allows you to sort Pocket Saves into Lists. !! Hurrah and thank you so much.

However, it would be SO HELPFUL if it was possible to sort the Lists alphabetically, as I now have so many it is difficult to find a particular List.

I realise this may be a development, but just thought I would check.

Also - I am not sure many people have realised you have added this ability to Pocket, so maybe you could advertise it more. I beleive a lot of people would prefer to use Firefox for saving Collections instead of other providers, but it was so confusing to use it before you added this capability. Thank you

Firefox does not display an escape character that Google Chrome does on Github. This character is used frequently as a delimiter in Source Engine games, so it being hidden can cause some issues in identifying where 1 parameter ends and the next begins.

I was wondering if there was a way to move the ENTIRE messages column to the left side of the screen next to/in front of the Folders menu. I tried looking it up online but have not found a way to do this and was unable to find something that looked like what I was looking for on the FAQs.

I can't use pdf to printout my credit card statements. This has happened on different banks. Finally, I gave up & went over to Chrome & had no problems. Please fix it. Another issue about pdf, it used to pop up on another page so I can view it right away when I clicked on open or whatever it was . But now, it disappears in a file. I miss the old way. Please fix it. I have got latest Thunderbird installed with Mail Merge Version 10.4.0 on a Mac. When I try to send a mailmerged email from a CSV (Used automatic or comma separated setting), it throws an error saying "Unsupported Zip file" and gives me links to the Home Page and the Change Log file.

When I accept the error message, it allows me to go into the final mail sending window. However, when clicked the "Start" button, no mail is sent.

Mail merge works without any issue on Windows PC. The issue is with the MAC.

Any help in getting this issue sorted is much appreciated.

Every month or so, I believe it's everytime there's a new firefox update, my firefox brower stops working. Pages go into perpetual loading mode, and if i close firefox and start it again it says these pages aren't able to be opened.

What's going on?

This is what I think:

The release notes reiterate that the version is only available as a direct download. One can only assume that if 102.1.0, for example, is already installed, that there must be some preferred procedure for using the download to update the existing installation.

Unfortunately there is no mention of any such procedure. There is no README. There is no INSTALL file. There is an executable called updater but running it yields:

Usage: updater patch-dir install-dir apply-to-dir [wait-pid [callback-working-dir callback-path args...]]

which is far from explanatory.

Since these updates are obviously generated by some sort of build script, it would seem to be a simple matter to add or clarify the update procedure. Once done, the work would not need to be repeated.

I would urge the developers to remember that not everyone who uses Thunderbird is a mozilla developer. The users lack many of the skills and background that are second nature to the developers. Without a bit more clarity, the average user cannot benefit from all the developer's hard work unless they can actually install the updates.

I am facing issue while downloading files in Firefox Private Browsing. Whenever I download my PDF files, as soon as I close the browser window, the files also get deleted automatically. What should I do to rectify this issue.

Have been getting Access Denied on some websites for the past 3 weeks. Cannot seem to find out what the error code references. Have also tried the google browser for the same websites same response. Thanks, Richard

What is going on with this new update. I don't have time to google for hours trying to fix Thunderbird. I am in the middle of repairing my fence because the dogs keep getting out and the fence was destroyed by hurricane Ian's eye a year ago. I am so tired of fixing everything. I have been using Thunderbird since 2006. Why do the updates keep getting more bizarre? Waterfox did a similar thing yesterday just not as big, and from what I could gather it has something to do with fricking Microsoft, the super bullies of the tech world and the way the screen size is programed in Windows 10, wish Windows 7 would come back. Windows 10 screen sizing has always been a royal pain. 100% is not big enough so I have it at 125% and various websites are always screwed up, this never happened in Windows 7 and now it looks like it will screw up Waterfox which I went back to 5G.1.13 instead of the new 6G until I have a couple of days to screw around and endlessly google to find the perfect answer and figure out if its about:config or some CSS file or whatever needs to be fixed. I don't understand why these errors are not fixed before the updates are released. Especially when the update destroys the program making it nonfunctional. Thunder bird is all distorted and I can't use it. I am screwed, I have packages coming, and a food truck from Oregon I have to meet and the delivery schedule keeps changing and texts are not coming through fricking Tmobile. I hate technology it is a royal time consuming pain in the ass. What ever happened to phone calls and not having to write a novel to communicate.
