since the last redevelopment of Mozilla Firefox I am having trouble exiting both my private and non private browser. I want to uninstall Firefox and re install it to see if that gets rid of the gremlins.

Have used Thunderbird for years, decades even, on multiple PC's, family and friends, and home PC's. Even donated a few times over those years but this one has me stumped and honestly a bit miffed.

I got 102 update and it completely broke my 2 POP and 1 IMAP accounts. New Passwords, cleared files, all the business you find here and online. Saw someone revert back to v91 which I had prior. Did that, worked like a charm and the prior existing accounts that did NOT work; started working again instantly. Proves I had the right accounts/passwords.

Next day, launch TB and it's updated again to 102; hmm. Downgrade again a second time on 2 PC's and go my business. It's now been 4 days and I've put registry keys in, used Config Editor and did all the "do not auto update" things I've read and still, today after a long and wicked day; I find starting TB it's yet again auto updated to 102.

Help please? I'm an IT guy of over 30 years and this one has me stumped and doing side-eye and I don't like it. Is there an honest and true way to NOT UPDATE to 102? Sorry, upset and have never had an issue *ever* with TB these years but this one is quite annoying downgrading daily.

You can see the context menu in the photo, I would want to hide the pin tabs button so I could stop clicking it on accident. Pinned aren't a feature I use nor find useful anyway.

An email contains the same content as a different email, even though they are two different subjects. I have to go to gmail to get the correct content of the first email.

why can't i log in to my Chase online account without a 2 step authorization process? i always get the message "we do not recognize this device" - then i have to enter a code - WHY?

I was forced to upgrade when FF crashed the other day, and now all of my windows are sorted alphabetically. This was exactly the behaviour that caused me to switch from Chrome to FF in the first place. I *HATE* having my windows sorted alphabetically. I have certain windows that remain open all the time, and they remain at the top of my Window menu drop-down, for easy access. (Hence, chronological by when the window opened, the old default behaviour.) Now, FF "helpfully" changes the window position every time I change tabs, and I can't find anything. I mentally sort windows by subject matter, not by the name displayed on the tab. I have tens of windows (20-30 typically) open at any given time. This makes it literally impossible to use the Window menu anymore, and I have to tab through open windows searching for what I need.

Mozilla, please make this a configurable option. It was really horrible of you to enforce this on us, just because some squeaky-wheels decided they preferred alphabetical sorting. They clearly are not power users, and this change has crippled those of us who are.

Hi, I have a problem with add new account.

1. I fill in all the fields correctly. 2. I hit the "done" (Gotowe) button. 3. The "password checking" (Sprawdzanie hasła...) message is displayed all the time. 4. Nothing happens. All the time waiting for the password to be checked.

In the thunderbird I have already added 2 other addresses from this domain premium-wood: kontakt@premium-wood and sklep@premium-wood. I did not encounter any problem while adding these two addresses. The password for the account is definitely correct. I can log in via a browser without any problems.

What could be the cause of this situation?

Hello, I am disabling dom.forms.autocomplete.formautofill but when I close Firefox and restart it, it's enabled again. I did a refresh but it still stays enabled. Is that setting in effect only for current session? Thanks

I appreciate the effort and work that has gone into Firefox Suggest, but I find that it obscures and hides the real source of the found URLs. I have no way to know if it's from my browser history or bookmarks or from, potentially, external sources.

The possibility that "Firefox Suggest" results might be from external sources (depending on what you have configured) makes it (to me) like an opaque black box in everyday use. And even if the source isn't external, the fact that there even exists a doubt is itself a problem.

So a constructive idea: it would be very comforting if at least local results would be clearly indicated in the results in the address bar. And preferably also a distinction of "history" and "bookmarks".

I'm playing bridge on BBO (Bridge Base Online) and sometimes need to contact their support but it hasn't functioned fro two years. Furthemore, I have the same problems with the support address to SVENSKA BRIDGEFÖRBUNDET. Sorry, I have no better information to give you. I'm hopeless in front of all computers. I am unable to log on to my Synology Diskstation 220+ using the Firefox browser. The device is accessed through my local IP address. I have no trouble using the Microsoft Edge browser. This problem has existed for several months and I cannot figure it out. On Firefox I have checked the ad blocker and disabled it. I tried clearing the cache. I would appreciate any ideas people could suggest. Thanks.
