Videos "stuttering"/ choppy but audio is fine. Tried watching in many sites but have the same problem. Videos is working fine in other browsers.

Hi, I can use firefox anymore, because it is not usable. If I switch between programs in Android, example firefox to mBanka, then back to Firefox, tab in Firefox will reload and cannot complete forms! All lines are clear. Next problem: If I reuse tab, I cannot load new page, I must close this tab and use new one.

I have passwords and bookmarks saved on my desktop and laptop PCs. How do I import those to my Android and Apple devices with Firefox? I don't want to have anything in the "cloud", because of the possibilities of hacking. Thank you.

When I browse outlook mail on compose, suddenly it appear very lagging, I not got a chance to write a letter or alphabet, very slowly to type and almos5 hang and consume much memory. This always happen. On other website or open inbox on outlooj mail still fine, but when you in compose page, you experience lagging, even you didnt do anything. Can you fix this?

Hello all. I have a strange problem, sorry for the length. So I have a windows pc, and 2 android devices, a cell and a tablet. Sync has not really worked well for over 3 years, and I'm trying yet one more time to fix this. I honestly don't believe it can. Each device is pretty much on its own, so I do not see all of my articles/tabs on all 3. If you were to take a look at each, the tabs are all different. I've tried everything. So let me ask this: is there a way to manually do this? I guess I'll just have to do that. I've signed in and out on both android devices, hit the sync button on all 3, looked for updates on all 3, etc. My cell didn't even show up on my pc for 3 years. I don't want to mess with that one yet {cause it's windows}, I've gone into settings, tried what the articles suggest. Nothing. Weirdly, my bookmarks are fine {thank goodness}. Please help. I last updated Firefox on Feb 5, and had Ublock, Privacy Badger, and Search by Image we add-ons. Tonight, just randomly, I noticed that typed text wasn't appearing in the text box (although the suggestions showed up in the keyboard) at all on every webpage and site.

Uninstalling and reinstalling (along with the add-ons) did the trick. I am really curious what the root cause was. Hopefully nothing sinister.

I'm on a TCL 30XE 5G running Android 12.

I have two computers which names starts with "UNIT" and followed by some numbers that differs. If I want to send tab from mobile to one of them I cannot determine which is which because device name is cut after 4 characters. See attached screenshot. Thanks

Videos will immediately start playing upon loading a page, even with Firefox set to 'block audio and video'. This happens on YouTube and Reddit.

Autoplay blocking only works if the page is opened in a new tab.

I have my phone configured to route its DNS requests through a locally hosted DNS server. I noticed that the DNS requests made by my phone through Firefox are not routing through my local DNS server even though requests route through the server when using Chrome.[[ From what I could find online|https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1425188]] it sounds like DoH is not a feature on Firefox for Android so I am confused why my DNS requests made through Firefox on Android are not routing through the local DNS server. This issue does not occur on any of my desktops/laptops where I use Firefox to browse.

Please let me know if you have any other troubleshooting steps to try or any clarifying questions. Thank!

I have an issue with my keyboard not showing up when I try to type in search bars specifically when the sites are saved as app shortcuts. The keyboard works fine when the sites are tabs within the firefox app but once I save sites as a shortcut and open through the shortcut, the keyboard will appear for a split second and disappear right away.

Is this also possible with firefox for Android ?

I open Gmail links and Firefox opens then in a floating window in android tablet. How to fix this? This is really annoying. I've tried unchecking the Gmail open links in Gmail to speed up browsing setting but that didn't work. Firefox is my default browser . I'm on news Lenovo tablet. I installed Firefox and from Day one I have this problem even before changing any Firefox settings. When I change default browser to Google Chrome it works fine . Also on my Samsung phone the Gmail links open fine in Firefox. I'm only having this problem on my tablet. Can anyone please help?

Two questions: 1. I have a 30 mega bite DSL internet connection, but when I watch some videos I get the whirling circle, sometimes another. Also while the video is paused/locked, it continues to run in the background, so I loose the video during that time. A work around used to be, use the forward or back buttons. This brings me to the second question. 2. What happened to the Forward and Back 10 or 15 seconds buttons or circles? They seem to have gone away recently.

video on websites dont play very smoothly. they are always choppy, and look like they are playing on a really low frame rate. the same os true for youtube, instagram where it is very laggy when any video is played. ps. im on android, cant seem to open about:config area

For the love of God and all that is holy, make me not pissed off. I have a red star over my Firefox browser icon, yet when I go into it, it does not direct me to what needs addressing. The red star will not go away. Fix your shit. You've also pissed me off further, for the fact that I have to resort to swearing.

Whenever I select 'don't open in app' Firefox remembers this and never ever asks me if I want to open i app again. Selecting always open in app still doesn't open in app. I have reset Firefox and reinstalled it but that doesn't help.
