I have been a TB user for years. Recently, many problems. Today (for the first time) I can't even launch the program. One I got the error "Cannot open XXCOM" where I used XX for letters which I can't remember. Then I tried again and got a breakpoint error: "(0x0000003) occurred in the application at location 0x000000006D809898"

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

Just installed thunderbird on a new to me computer When I enter my shawmail account it does the auto install and sets up but can t access imap server. My wife s shawmail works as does my ymail and gmail. called shaw but since it works when I log in through webmail, they can't help and suggested I try this site, I've deleted it and put it back and all the numbers are correct, Any ideas? thanks

I used Malwarebyte scan to check for my digital footprint and it showed Firefox , spotify and another program , it also identified one password that was out there ! Does this mean that Firefox on my PC/Phone is insecure ? or are they trying to get me to use their software ?

Actually my problem was solved. It came from the fact that following a maintenance intervention on the servers of the https site where my account was located, and access to which was blocked by Mozilla, the automatic updating of certificates had not worked. Which the site technicians resolved following a request I sent to them.

After last update, Missing "TRASH" folder and only have Junk Folder that everything is put in and marked as "Junk". Then those messages are all marked as "junk" automatically that may not be Junk. Tried to create subfolder named "Trash" and will not allow. Windows 10, 64 bit Dell laptop I-5 Inspiron 5759.

All of a sudden two of my aol accounts won't sign in. I get a browser screen that looks like an aol sign in window and says to enter my aol log in credentials, but the URL is something else. Clearly bogus stuff, and surely attempts at phishing credentials. One other aol account still seems to log in just fine.

'Vanishing Menu BarBar' Mac OS system is set to NEVER hide menu Bar, yet both Thunderbird and Firefox hide the menu bar, they are the only applications I have that do this. the posted solutions DO NOT EXIST in Mac OS 14.4.1. The posted solution says to customize and then go to a menubar drop down, but in both apps there is NO such menu item. There is a menu item for the tool bar, which I have ON, but not for the menubar. So what gives?

I have noticed that my mouse becomes unresponsive exclusively when clicking Browser items in Firefox 124.0.2 (64-bit) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

usually everything is fine for a while, then after a small working period I can still hover over items in Firefox but any click action (right or left) is ignored by Firefox or pages in Firefox.

At the same time clicking in other apps is still working fine.

When restarting firefox the functionality often re-occurs and works again for a certain time.

My customer has a problem since about a month on Firefox (using it on a Terminal Server). The top of Firefox gets hidden by white and grey "bar" and he can not even use the "functions" of buttons behind that. -> Please see attached Print screens Lower part of the Favorites-bar is visible and also works if he clicks on it - everything above not visible and does not work for clicking.

The problem only comes up from time to time maybe once or twice a week. When he minimizes Firefox the application behind is visible normally. when he maximizes it again, same problem still visible in Firefox. When he closes RDP Session and reconnects - the problem disappears. When he turns off the monitor where Firefox is visible - Firefox gets move over to the other monitor and the problem disappears.

I am not 100% sure if this is a Firefox problem or Remote Desktop Problem (or maybe an add-in problem). But until now it only happened on Firefox!

He is always on the last recent version of Firefox, we just updated today to the latest version again - but I can not say yet, if the problem would still exist on the latest version from today.

Trying to delete an email account that is no longer used. System continues to attempt to read from the provider because I cannot remove the account and is delivering error messages every few minutes which is very annoying.

I've gone through Account settings>Remove account>Confirm remove BUT the only active option is Cancel. The Remove and More Info buttons are greyed out.

In the received message pane, unread messages are in a bold font, but, after reading a message, the font does not change back to a normal un bolded font. I have looked at every setting I can think of and I cannot get this to work the way it did in version 102. I am currently on 115.9 ,but, I may revert back to version 102 which worked without any problems. Can you help me resolve this problem?

When I go to sites like google or bing, ect... I used to be able type multiple spaces between words now it only lets me type 1 space between words. Multiple spaces makes it easier to cut and paste when I'm doing multiple searches

Lately, when I try to download different files like .docx, .pptx, etc., Firefox always downloads files with a .pdf extension. I tried it in a different browser, and the problem does not occur there. Of course, the files are the same in binary terms, so when I change the extension, everything is fine, but it is annoying. What is wrong?

What WordPress email setting we should use to to send WordPress transactional emails via Gmail account which has Thunderbird-Gmail App enabled. For example, using FluentSMPT WordPress Plugin?

Or, how to send WordPress transactional emails using Thunderbird mail client, on Linux OS server?

I am hoping someone can help me. I had an email address for years that was a Medicacom email. When we got rid of Mediacom we no longer have that email. I had it linked to Mozilla Thunderbird. Yesterday I tried to disable it. I clicked on remove account but not on the message data. It removed all of the emails that I had in there. I have several things that I need that were just gone. I hope someone can help me retreive them. Thank you.
