I applied to be in the VPN que quite some time back. I then got an invitation mail a month or so back saying that i am invited to sign up for access to the vpn platform. I did the payment on my mobile because i was not home at the time. I tried Sevral times with all my cards and each try i got a error message. It was said that i should go to my account page and enter my updated payment details there, and i followed the link wich indeed led to the firefox account page, but there was no sight of anywhere to update any payment info.... after trying several timesI then quit and thought there must surely be a support to dialogue with for further instructions..After kind of one Hour Plus of following link after link that just led back to where i had started and where it was said that if i wanted to speak to the Happy and motivated support team id just had to press the link, round and round it want until i realized that im not going to Find any happy and motivated support team, becuse there isnt any... This was over a month ago and i swore that id never ever use firefox again. Im Encouraged and expected to use all the products but they dont want o provide any Serious support when it comes to serious matters as Payments and Debit cards?!? How cheap can they be!!?? Like Really?!

I wrote a mail which i never got any reply to and i replied to the mails claiming being sent from "accounts" but never got an answer. Im seriously disiilisioned with FIrefox.... They dont want to actually Pay for a support team but instead uses VOLONTEERS!?!... like i said... how cheap can a fairly large company get. Although its some sort of foundation....still its not like its greenpeace sailing off to rescue whales in the arctic "volonteers sign up". Just charge a little more for the VPN so that you can provide a fulltime support team, better that then just Cheap being even Cheaper.

Its aken me That long to even want to write this mail. SO... can you guys help and perhaps change my less than cherished opinion about Mozilla...? I hope so but im not holding my breath if i may say so ;o)

Hi I have encountered a custom TBird setup I've never seen before. There is a POP account and some Local Folder email folders to back up. The previous technician relocated the POP account message storage directory to AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Mail\mail.hamilton.com and relocated the Local Folders message storage directory to Documents\Thunderbird. I obviously need to back up those directories. Is the only additional thing I need to back up the active profile directory? Does that cover everything? Thanks for the help! Josh

Now that i have v. 81.0.2 64-Bit, the first time I opened it today i saw one of those yellow bars at the top that said that there was a script on the page. Since my email program SeaMonkey was opened too, that seemed to run busy as well as Firefox. When am I going to be able to open these programs without this business of scripts running. Neither program pays any attention to the option to stop scripts.

have previewed help topics particular to this problem, but not finding exact phrase. this is my online banking account. i use it regularly and often. i wanted to transfer funds. i have contacted the bank customer service, advised to clear cache and cookies, but no luck. FF autoupdates, Win7 not applying updates, prefer not using Win10.

i am over the hill and picking up speed, but need hand-holding at this point. moz help has helped before with good results. thanks for the life-preserver! elise bowen, cape cod

For the last several months some of my emails have ended up in the "Junk Mail" folder somehow. Previously all my junk mail went to "Junk" and was flagged with yellow flame and shortly deleted. The email now going to "Junk Mail" includes some from relatives and Medicare. Fortunately none is flagged as junk but of course is a pain to move to the inbox manually. Has there been a redesign of Thunderbird somehow causing email to end up in that directory? Is that something that my ISP Charter/Spectrum might be causing? Thanks, besides the constant "Not Responding" messages I get, this is making me wonder if I need to find another email program.

When I try to print a document, including from your frequent questions site, the right and left margins are equal to 1 3/4 inches even though on the web site the margins are set at .5 inches. I have tinkered with all the available options but no matter what I do the result is 1 3/4 inch right and left margins.

This also happens when I try to print a document from Vanguard's message center.

How do I resolve this matter

After update to firefox 80 sometimes random pages do not load. They open as blank white page with refresh button being inactive. Only way to solve this problem is close page, open new tab and try to load this page again.

This is completely random, happening on all sites, opened from links on other sites, bookmarks or speed dial. No idea what could cause it. Maybe firefox has some problems with creating new process for new tab if my process limit is set to 1?

Now that Microsoft has moved to a Chrome based browser with the newest release of Edge, automatic, and fully functional website translations are now standard in both Edge and Chrome. I am a US Citizen, living in Mexico, that is not yet fully fluent in Spanish. This has severely limited my ability to use Firefox, which honestly, is a pretty big deal for me. I prefer Firefox for multiple reasons, but privacy is my major concern. Is Firefox working on a solution to this massive hole in Mozilla's browser product offering? Two major competitors are now offering automatic translation. What gives?

I was connected to O365 with my work email but cannot send any message. IMAP works just fine, all folders synced regularly, but sending not work for some unknown reason.

SMTP setting is as follow: smtp.office365.com port 587 STARTTLS OAuth (this is correct setting, all others shows errors, including outlook.partner.cn & smtp.office365.cn, which is completely normal since I'm not in China).

The first thing that jump out is that my password is not OK, which is not correct. Password is OK. Click on "Retry" or "Enter new password" do nothing, just return the same pop up. If "Cancel", then receiving message with "unknown error 80004005" and all other blablabla about unknown reasons, with instruction to check my SMTP settings.

I've tried all variations available, but nothing works. Sometimes, at some moment after click on Cancel, it said "Message sent" and I can see it in my Sent Items folder, but it's fake because I never receive that test message to my personal Gmail address.

I have already tried all suggestions I could find (deleting passwords, resetting all, restarting, deleting and adding account again, changes in Config editor related to security.tls), but nothing worked for me.

My OS: Win 10 Pro, build 2004, TB version 78.3.2

Any advise is very welcome. Thank you all in advance.

Every time I open Firefox it acts like it's my first time. It asks me to log in, forgets any bookmarks I created, forgets the home page I set...everything. This computer is less than a month old; the first thing I did with it was add Firefox. But if it can't remember anything, I'll be forced to switch to Chrome. Can anybody help me?

I have always had challenges getting the recommended CPANEL server settings to work in Thunderbird. However, I managed to have them working fine until this week, after we had an issue with malware on our site, which was removed. We have all also had to completely reset our PCs due to this virus.

Now, I had to use truly bizarre settings (compared to the recommendations) in order to get Thunderbird to work with my emails.

However, some of my team cannot get their OUTGOING mail to work at all, no matter what setting we have tried. We have exhausted our creativity, research, and troubleshooting with Godaddy.

Attached are: 1 the settings recommended in Godaddy CPANEL, 2 the incoming and outgoing settings I got to work for me.

Any thoughts?

HI. Firefox has been regularly crashing over the last month or two. Today it's crashed 4-5 times in 10 minutes. I tried sfc /scannow just now and there were no integrity violations. I've always submitted the crash report immediately after each event, however the last few were unsubmitted when I checked the log just now, so I've submitted them too. Firefox has always been updated to the latest version. Any ideas? Cheers Ian

I discovered that E-mail suddenly from my sister started to go directly to the junk file. I've moved them to the inbox several times, but each time within a few minutes the same E-mails disappear from inbox and go back to junk file. Once in the junk file they become marked as "not read" even though they were read. This only started in early Oct and I haven't notice it occurring with E-mail from anyone else...yet. I fear this will happen with any E-mail she sends and could start happening with E-mail from other people. Why is this happening and how can I make it stop? Can someone please help me? Thank you.

Hi,

I have had this problem for a long time. I have several Gmail accounts I connect to with Thunderbird via IMAP. In general, things are working, I can list my inbox, read and reply to mail and delete mail.

But when I attempt to delete multiple messages quickly, I eventually see a an "Authentication failure while connecting to server imap.gmail.com" dialog pop up.

If I let Thunderbird sit for a little while, it will all clear itself up, and the messages eventually get deleted.

I have tried enabling IMAP logging with TB but did not see anything very useful.

I deleted some old non OAUTH2 saved passwords but that didn't appear to help either.

I am looking for advice or suggestions on what I can do?
