I had an ongoing problem with Firefox on my PC - it worked correctly on my laptop. So I backed up my bookmarks using MozBackup and re-installed Firefox. This didn't have the Bookmarks bar so I enabled that. When I now try to restore the bookmarks using MozBackup it reports everything ok. But when I open Firefox the bookmarks are not there. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

some STUPID profile pop up occurred .... please choose .... I did than I LOST ALL of my browsing history and bookmarks !!!!! How do I recover ????????????????

Hi, there.

After performing the most recent Firefox update, I was greeted with the "create a new profile prompt", rather than having it open my old one. When going to "about:profiles", ALL FILES in the Root Directory of my old, default profile have the same date as the update, or after. Not a single file is older than that and all my history and bookmarks are gone. The option "Restore Previous Session" was not shown after the update.

PLEASE HELP!!

PS: This happened on a Macbook Pro. All other profiles are the same as they were before the update, having kept all history and bookmarks.

I am moving to another office and i want to completele remove my firefox data frome this device and i want to access the same site data and history in amother device this is not smartphone nut Desktop PC so How can i move this current brouser data to another new pc?

This has happened several times in the last 4 months or so, it had never happened prior to that and I've used Firefox for years. It now occurs when I open Firefox after my computer has either been shutdown, or the computer does a restart. I am signed in to my Mozilla account.

Mozilla installed an update and WIPED all my passwords.

Also removed all links on my Firefox screen.

Now sticks the link every site I visit on the Screen!

How do I get them back?

How do I get Mozilla to never do such an asinine act again?

RE: After a Mac re-start; despite, having the 'Startup > Open previous windows and tabs' checked in General page; the Restore Tabs option's in both the Top Menu History, and the Top Right Button Menu > History > Mange History were all greyed out. Even the keyboard shortcut to restore all Tabs > Command-Shift-T > Failed.

This has never happened before with Re-starts.

Am I able to restore all these tabs by accessing my Firefox Profile, and what are the exact steps?

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

My PC bricked. When I signed in to Firefox on another PC, using my account nothing was there. No bookmarks. I was asked to use my recovery key, but it didn’t work. I created a new password. When I signed in on another PC & on my iPhone, my bookmarks were gone. How do I get to my previous settings?

Restarted my PC; all of my bookmarks disappeared. NOT acceptable. (Or is this just another "improvement" from Firefox . . . ?)

Where did they go; how do I retrieve them?

Really don't want to wait days until there's a response, as I DO USE MY BOOKMARKS ALL OF THE TIME.

Can anyone help. A forced update was done to firefox and when relaunching it was like I had never used it before. All bookmarks and passwords were gone. When logging onto my account not record of my bookmarks. When looking on my desktop there was nothing there either. Is there anyway to get these back?

Man hatte mir eine neue FAssung von firefox eingespielt - firefox VPN. Danach waren meine Passwörter, die Chronik und verschwunden und eine veraltete Lesezeichen-Datei noch vorhanden. Wie komme ich an meine ursprünglichen Daten? Wo liegen diese?
