Hello, I just organized Thunderbird mobile on my Samsung tablet. On the desktop, Thunderbird shows a menu and a address book. When I get an Email I can save the mail address in my address book. But, Thunderbird mobile doesn't show a menu nor a address book and it does not use the contact saved at the tablet. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Thanks a lot!! Regards, Monika

Hallo, kürzlich habe ich Thunderbird mobil auf meinem Samsung Tablet installiert. Leider zeigt die App keine Menüleiste und keine Option eines Adressbuches. Dazu greift Thunderbird auch nicht auf gespeicherte Kontakte zu. Bei der Desktopversion wird sowohl die Menüleiste als auch ein Adressbuch angezeigt. Könnte mir bitte jemand behilflich sein, dieses Problem zu lösen? Vielen Dank! Grüße, Monika

My Thunderbird app worked fine for over a year and then I noticed that it had stopped downloading after December 20, 2024. I was able to write emails and send them successfully but none of my incoming emails arrived (I have access over my phone). This problem occurred shortly after my APP upgraded to Thunderbird version 128.5esr. I've downloaded the Thunderbird installer and run it but the program still refuses to download my emails. Is their anything I can do without having to find a replacement? I am running windows 10 on an HP laptop I bought in about 2011. Thanks Vic Bastron [email removed]@yahoo.com

Firefox sync Desktop and laptop

I was logged out of both computers so when I signed back in to sync my desktop to my laptop, it would not sync my rows that I have on my desktop I ended up changing two bookmarks on the homepage Rows when I was signed out but they would not change on my laptop when I was signed back in I had to do it manually, but if I stay signed in, I'm sure that it will change but how fast is it supposed to do that because I waited at least five minutes and nothing changed. I also clicked on my icon and clicked on sync now, but nothing changed.

I use Yahoo as my homepage and access it through Mozilla. Normally it loads in mere seconds. Last night and today it is taking extremely long to load and in some cases it has timed out. When it does load, all the pictures and other features are not included and either don't load or load much later.

I tried to load Yahoo from MIcrosoft Edge and it loaded perfectly. I am assuming there is an issue with Mozilla?

Even though CPU and GPU utilization is very low during 8K60fps Youtube playback in the Firefox browser on my base M4 Mac mini, the struggles heavily to play this, drops tons of frames, and the video almost stops playing.

8K 30 fps is not problem, and since utilization is pretty low, that doesn't explain the poor performance.

So please optimize 8K60fps Youtube playback on all platforms in the safari browser, but especially on Apple SIlicon Macs.

I am trying to set up for a friend the Thunderbird email client for his BT internet account but am encountering problems.

When using the BT recommended settings: POP3 settings Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com Port: 995 SSL Encryption: SSL/TLS Username: email address xxxxxxxx@btinternet.com Password: btinternet password SMTP settings Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com Port: 465 SSL Encryption: SSL/TLS Authentication: btinternet password Username: email address xxxxxxxx@btinternet.com Password: your btinternet password

I receive the message “Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password.

However if I change the POP connection security to “None”. All is well.

Can somebody please advise.
