I may be missing something, but how can I remove threading completely from Thunderbird or how can I download an older version. I"ve searched for 102.15, but cannot find a way to download it. I really prefer NOT to use another email client. I've always used Thunderbird, but I cannot tolerate this threading thing and I can't seem to disable it.

I have the latest TB 115.4.1 - OSX I select multiple messages in my inbox and hit delete key, only one message is deleted. not the others Same with the contextual menu > Delete selected message

Fix the problem ! If I set up a set of bookmarks and web sites to be opened on startup of Firefox, then use them and save that list forever until I change it.

That is how you product worked until this week. Now, it sucks. And why does the header say that my options are controlled by my organization ? This is my private computer, belongs to me, not any organization !

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

I just did a Google image search on my pixel 8 and saw that all the image results were forced to "fit width" so I can only really see 1 result at a time. I have the "Google Search Fixer" installed and dialsabling it returns the image search view to gallery. But when I enable to addon it goes back to that "ft to wish" view.

I've looked through the options and tried searching for similar problems/solutions and found nothing. How do I return my Google image search view to gallery? It's really obnoxious and frustration to only be able to see 1 image at a time when searching.

I am not computer savvy as a warning. I have Firefox as my browser. I am having trouble because my email Yahoo and other situations are not working right because they say, " 'Java Script' is not enabled." I did not even know what Java Script was. How do I enable Java Script or what is a substitute that Firefox recommends that will work like Java Script? Thank you

Hello. I am currently trying to play a web game, but something is very annoying. The game doesn't implement pointer lock, so I have to play fullscreen for the movement to be continuous. Unfortunately, every time my mouse passes past the top of the screen, Firefox automatically unhides the titlebar and controls, and over all tries to escape fullscreen mode. This is very bad for the game, as the mouse movements are frantic and need a continuous mouse. How can I disable this behavior, so that Firefox keeps everything hidden in fullscreen until F11 is pressed?

This morning the add-on 'Search By Image' has ceased working. I use it daily, it worked yesterday, and so far as I know there have been no updates to FF or SBI or Windows.

To test I tried removing SBI and re-adding it, and disabling Malwarebytes.

I disabled SBI and installed "Image Search Options". ISO works, though I prefer SBI.

Win11, FF is now 119.0, but it auto-updated when I went to check so I do not know what it was when the problem began this morning. I have not restarted, I have too many tabs open at the moment.

This is also happening to a different PC that is Win10/FF, but never had Malwarebytes installed. SBI still does not work after restarting FF v119.0 in Win10.

Any ideas on how to diagnose this?

Windows 10 Thunderbird 115.4.2 (64 bit) Following the recent update, the Write icon has vanished. I can see it in Customise -Toolbars but can't do anything about it. I know there is a keyboard shortcut to get this done but I want my icon back please! Many thanks Howard

I am working on an extension/add-on Firefox for android. Our extension wants to communicate with a native app and fetch data from there. I tried nativeMessaging but it is not supported by Firefox. . While researching, I came across articles discussing Firefox's 120 build, which is expected to provide enhanced support for add-ons. However, I couldn't find any information regarding native app communication in these resources. I'm seeking assistance or guidance from someone who may have insights into this matter.

How come that we are in 2023 and we still do not have major features like Chrome's Profiles or Orion Browser's Profiles.

For example, Orion Browser creates an app per profile and this allows MacOS users to customize each app with a different icon. This seems small but on a taskbar we can differentiate the instances faster.

Why is that the best option for managing profiles in Firefox is the Firefox Profile Switcher, a third-party tool supported by a community member?

Will this ever be addressed? Firefox is better than the others in so many things but, for example, even Safari implemented Profiles now.

To be clear: containers are NOT the same thing as profiles and profiles still have an usage. For example, my work profile has no syncs, different extensions and stricter configurations than my personal profile and this cannot be done with containers.

Hello, I recently used my MacBook Air to connect with a projector for a classroom presentation. The presentation was using Google Slides. I adjusted the settings to optimize the presentation--setting the navigation and bookmarks bars to hide when in full screen.

I normally use my Firefox browser in full screen mode, but have the navigation bar and tool bar visible.

I cannot figure out how to undo what I did so that my navigation bar and toolbar are visible again when I am in full screen mode. Indeed, when I move the pointer to the top of the screen to make the navigation bar and toolbar visible, I cannot move the pointer back to the navigation bar or toolbar without it disappearing again. Essentially, I need to undo full screen mode.

I downloaded Qwant browser some years ago out of curiosity then took this laptop offline. When I allowed this laptop back online, I noticed Qwant and disabled it, as I am accustomed to DuckDuckGo and no longer feeling curious, just want to get work done. Qwant is showing as disabled (under the Disabled heading, and greyed out).

However, when I use CTRL-N, the new browser window is Qwant, not Firefox, not DuckDuckGo.

I check that Firefox is my default browser and the laptop checks every boot-up that it is the default browser.

Can you help? I know there's a line of code somewhere but don't want to do more than I have -- endlessly search the settings, checking that there is nowhere that allows Qwant to load, let alone preferentially loads it.
