My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

Whenever I open the find bar while deleting the phrases and words, it shows the one word highlighted or its phrase highlighted on the find bar whenever I reopen after deleting the phrases and words. I need help for this ?

I am having some issues and hope to get help from the community when I open a new window and log in to www.somesite.com. and then I open another window[private] and log in to www.somesite.com i would prefer that it doesn't get me the login from the first window.

tried changing numerous settings but still i keep getting the same login from the first window.

I have been using Thunderbird for years to access several @charter.net email addresses, lately administrated at Spectrum, which took over Charter. Everything was working normally until today. I can still receive emails, but when I send, I get an error message asking for a password: "password required for outgoing SMPT server" Manually entering a password in that error message box doesn't help. Spectrum support is not helpful beyond confirming that my email sends and receives normally as long as I access it on their website. Three clues: 1) Spectrum recently announced "new and improved" email. 2) One customer service person described my email addresses as "legacy". 3) My gmail address sends and receives just fine from Thunderbird as usual. The problem is that I don't see an "EVALUATE" button

I could extract the Firefox apk from my phone and sideload this onto my quest, but I don't understand why Mozilla don't make an apk available for direct download or make Firefox available via the Meta store. The latter I can understand as it's more time an effort, but I'm at a loss regarding the direct apk availability.

Does anyone know why this is only downloadable via Google Play?

tried to import logins etc from waterfox, but pull down list does NOT include waterfox, many others tho, so how can this be done without having to jump thru too many hoops

I understand the necessity of some Extensions / add-ons to "Access your data for all websites" and therefore i agree to that for some of them. So here's the question: Is it possible for the data collected by that ADDON to be transmitted over the internet to either the ADDON maker or any other unknown recipient? Or is it that they indeed are collected but stored and processed locally on my computer and never transmitted elsewhere?

There has been this odd banner of scripts on certain web pages for a while now and I'm not sure what it is or how to stop it. I don't know what the problem could be.

I've tried deleting all history, cache settings. Deleting and reinstalling Firefox. Backing up existing profiles and restarting. NOTHING except starting in Troubleshoot (Safe) mode makes a difference:

Since yesterday when Thunderbird updated, I either get an alert sound for new email all of the time (even when Thunderbird is closed and I don't want to be alerted) or none of the time, if I turn the sound off (meaning even when I have Thunderbird open, I get no sound alerting me of new email). How do I set it so that when the program is open, the alert sound works, but when the program is closed, the alert sound does not interrupt my other activities (like work video calls)? Thanks for any help with this.

I have a YouTube loading problem, it works on all other browsers except Firefox. When you go to the YouTube homepage, the whole screen is blank with black and grey colours, on the homepage no video loads, no words on the screen, no ads, just blank. it works like normal on Chrome,Opera,Internet Explorer.

I am on windows 8, all blockers are off, on the latest version 115.9.1. no other problems on my PC.

It is the only feature holding me back. I use outlook for Windows and I am able to sort my contacts by categories. In addition, I use a syncing software called Companion Link/Deja Office which syncs those contacts with those categories on either my iPhone or Android. This allows me to focus on targeting specific people for either personal or business use. Your software has that feature for calendar items. Why not integrate that same feature for the contacts which has a higher degree of importance. I see that a multitude of people have asked for quite some time already even offering to donate money if implemented.

Hello Community Please help me to start again with Firefox from scratch. Last Month I downloaded Thunderbird email app and set up with a new email account using mailfence. Now I find that my mailfence email address was only a free trial and I have to pay to continue to use. I now wish to set up with my original free email with gmail. I did uninstall the Thunderbird app and then installed from fresh. Unfortunately it still has the mailfence email remembered in the Thunderbird App. How so I start again from scratch using my gmail account instead of the mailfence account that has now expired? Thank you in anticipation of you help.

How to add the date of the site listed in History.

As it is there is the sidebar: History, then Name, Tags, Location, and Date but the column is empty, no date appears there.

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. When I try to open a link from an external software, in my case mostly discord, that which I click on, I get the profile manager opened, ask for which profile I should open from. If I already have the Firefox window for that profile open, I have to close the whole window and then it opens with all the tabs with a tab for the link I clicked on.

I would like to open tabs like how Chrome does, not asking for profile (yes, I know, I can just make things open on only one profile but I want to choose which one I want it to every single time without manager) and instead opens up from the profile window that I just had on.

I would like to open external links on an existing window and not close to open it.

So, ultimately, make my Firefox open link from the latest profile window I was on, and it does not require to close an existing window to open the link.
