What's the deal with Firefox not allowing people to be able to use Chrome extensions like some other browsers do? I have a password manager that has a Chrome extension, but Firefox does NOT have an extension for it.

My Proton Mail package requires java be active. When I am browsing with Mozilla browser I am frequently re-directed to a page not requiring java. I type about:config bot get no warning and never advance to a page ro make java changes. This about maxeysf my abilities out . Help me please! Geoff in east Tennesee

How to install Fire Fox Browser on my Amazon Fire 10HD Tablet? I can not get Fire Fox from the Amazon tablet app store. Will it ever be possible to use a Mozilla Fire Fox browser on my Amazon Fire HD10 Tablet?

I cannot save my credit card number in Firefox, in Settings I don't even have the option to save them and the directions in the Firefox help don't work. #2 below there is no Forms and Autofill section in the settings let alone a credit card option.

1. Click the menu button Button and select Settings.
2. Click the Privacy & Security panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section.
3. Click the checkbox next to Autofill credit cards to turn it on, or uncheck the box to turn it off.

Any help to what's going on would be great.

I am using Firefox 107 and have seen this issue with previous versions. My laptop is a MSI GS76 Stealth with the core i9 11900H / UHD graphcs, and a RTX3070 8g GDDR6 which can be run in mshybrid mode. When in mshybrid mode and Firefox hardware acceleration enabled, I have seen issues where scrolling in Facebook causes resets of the feed and / or the screen will became 'fuzzy' like the refresh rate is off. If i close the lid and open, the screen resets back to normal. Once I switch to full fledged RTX3070 support or disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox the problem stops. I have not noticed this issue with Microsoft edge or Google chrome. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

How often are updates to be sent?? It seems that each time I close the browser, then open up at a later moment, I keep getting a 'Firefox Update' message to download. I AM now getting very annoyed at this point, due to the fact that each time I have downloaded an update, there has been nothing to install, and the next few days after, I see another message to download an update even after I dismiss the alert.

Firefox not loading and missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll preventing re-installation. Full message is: 'The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.' Tried to install an old version of Firefox (28.0) but this is not upgradeable.

Hello, I was just wondering if there was a way to remove the top open tabs bar on the browser. I am currently using the tree style tabs and was hoping to just use that and remove the visual clutter from the top.

The video playback stuttering isn't new but I only stated looking into it now. No idea how long it's been like this. At first I thought it might be caused by running my monitors at true 120Hz and 60Hz instead of a fractional framerate but then the stuttering should be visible on other apps too. Switching to a fractional 60 didn't change anything in Firefox.

I recently switched from Chrome which had the Reading List feature which you could view on the Chrome Android app as well as Chrome PC.

I recently figured out Firefox has a similar thing called Collections but I can't find out where it's located on the Firefox PC application.

Or do I have to do something to sync it with my PC?
