1st, I'm old, cant code, tho wish I cld, so am naive and tho being online for over 20 years, just dont get any tech etc on how any of it works (damn it).

My issue, is th incompatibility across 1st O/S's, due to competition but mainly bcoz of the lack of ethics inherant in capitalism.

As my meme has; "cRapitalism - guaranteed to make a$$holes of otherwise good folks!"

But, "that's evolution fo' yo'!

Point is, th web is still a baby, so has a way to go b4 it, thus all operators and users, "evolve" to agreed bases, O/S's, layout standards for all the sites, platforms, apps, etc.

Eg1; Social media platforms? All in their own anazing ways, are fabulous.

But (yeah, an "old Luddite's" problem) skipping from 1 to another, and another, each w its great but own layout, is longterm, long-game, all up v innefficient.

So, IMCO, there needs ASAP to be a meet of both developers AND govt specialists, to begin a project to design GLOBALLY-acceptable layouts etc, for maximum user-friendliness, and other vital factors in sites' designs.

I write this on my phone, bcoz sPOOks have hackrashed every lap and desk top computer, bcoz of my REALPolitiks, so that'll do from me.

Sayin', "sameness" of all parts for online use, like the accepted "QWERTY" keyboard layout, as with Post Offices, I guess, all requiring postage stamps in the dame corner of envelopes, globally, etc, baby internet needs to gwow upsies, above the usually excellent egotrips of each web layout etc., to maximize humanity's communications systems.

why om last updates all my hotmail accounts keep asking me for passwords ? everytime i need to login... your older version was best then this.. i think you make updates with problems , how can i get the older version only ?

Firefox believes I have a security key.

What is a security key? Where do I find it? Why does Firefox think I have one?

And why is there no helpful information to explain this confusing UX?

When I close firefox while it's in full screen, turn off my laptop, and then open it again the day after, it opens in the small screen for some reason. I tried going to the root directory in the about:profiles section of the more troubleshooting information section and renaming xulstore.json to xulstore.json.old, and each time it worked for a few days and then it just installed a new xulstore.json and went back to opening in the small screen. This is really annoying and I don't want to switch it manually every time.

When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.

I just subscribed to some feeds on Thunderbird for the first time and it seems like the maximum number of articles downloaded per feed is 25. How do I change this? (Screenshot of the number of messages per feed.)

I have always been able to connect with Navy Federal Credit Union for my banking until a few days ago. Every time I click on the accounts shortcut I get the FAILED TO CONNECT window. I can open my e-mail and ALL other websites. I can connect with Goggle but I've always preferred and used Firefox. I have used Firefox as my main browser for many many years. What is the problem??

when i write a new mail i have this kind of letters , by sent or received mail, the letters are different, see my two screenshots. how can i install that the letters in a written mail are the same in each group?

Hi I've been having an issue with adding bookmarks lately. I have a lot of Bookmarks as such I use a lot of bookmark folders, often multiple folders within one another.

The issue I have is that when I add a new bookmark on mobile Firefox displays all Bookmark folders all at once leading to a lot of scrolling in order to get to a specific folder. This can lead me to several minutes of searching as I try to find a specific folder.

This could be solved by implementing a drop down box to hide folders within folders.

Anyhelp is appreciated.

In the past, FF downloaded documents without opening them in the browser. This is two weeks now that whenever I download a document, FF is now opening the document in the browser without asking me.

I welcome if someone could tell me what I can do to stop FF from opening the documents.

After signing into an account with Schwab.com, the site has a "Launch" button that opens the Schwab "Streetsmart Edge" trading platform. However, after signing into Schwab.com with the Firefox browser, clicking on the "Streetsmart Edge" Launch button does not work. "Streetsmart Edge" does not open.

This problem only occurs when using Firefox. If using Microsoft's browser there is no problem.

Previously, until about two month ago, the Firefox browser never caused this problem. It worked fine for many years.

I prefer the Firefox browser versus Microsoft. Please research and repair this issue.

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

I'm getting login issues to my Outlook account. I understand this is an emerging problem and I"m following the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/microsoft-oauth-authentication-and-thunderbird-202

However, I can't follow the instructions under section "Change Thunderbird authentication method for sending messages (SMTP)" because I don't have "Outgoing Server (SNMP)" in the lefthand side. I do have an option to edit Outgoing Server settings, but there is no option to set OAuth2 in the Authentication Method dropdown. I am unable to send Outlook emails, and I'm unable to complete the instructions to fix it. Help is appreciated!
