So today i accident clicked clear data because i thought i clicked clear cache now i lost all my password and previous tab and more how do i recover back in android? :( is it lost forever?

My laptop got damaged this morning and now that I am logging into Firefox with my new laptop its not syncing anything. Many years of bookmarks and stuff is just gone. Is there any way to get it back?

Is there away i can get my browser history and data back ,i logged out of windows couldnt remember my password ,logged in with a new password and all my data is gone .....

Hey there! It seems that my bookmarks are gone. I only see the place holder for them, but no link or anything else. What can I do? Is there a way to import the bookmarks from the Mozilla website? Curiously the bookmarks on Firefox Android are there, but I can't see an option to export the list from there. Many thanks for any help! Best, Wolfram

I was able to use it this morning from my macbook. But the afternoon I was on sites where my passwords usually fill but now everything is empty, everything had been deleted. I tried to log out and back in to mozilla and sync, but everything is gone. Over 100 sites and passwords. How this happened ? Where can i ask for help since Mozilla doesn't offer any.

I quit Firefox and when I restarted it it said it was a new version! It said something about restoring but I assumed it was just restoring my prior pages! DAMN! I can't even find a place to import bookmarks!

I am so angry I could chew nails!

I've been backing up my opened tabs for the past 4 or 5 years with the steps in this legendary post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1257866

But this time it failed me and I don't know why. I just switched from Debian to Linux Mint, put everything up to date, but when I copy the sessions-store folder back into my session folder, as described in the post, nothing happens. I tried restoring only the 2 files listed there, and also dropping them in the general user folder, outside sessions-store, but still nothing. I've also noticed that the sessions-store folder isn't created automatically, even if I open a bunch of new tabs now and close the browser.

I don't even know how to begin troubleshooting this to be honest, this is the first time this method's ever failed me :(

Earlier, when I opened Firefox it didn't restore the tabs and windows I had been using from about 2 weeks ago. I tried looking in "History" in the Firefox menu but it only displays tabs and windows that I've closed and it doesn't have the tabs and windows I had actually open.

I've had the same Firefox settings since I first installed Firefox a few years ago and this is the first time this has happened... :'( :'( :'(

I must have had about 70 Firefox windows and even more tabs within those windows so this really hurt me... :'( :'( :'(

It has always been the case that when I closed Firefox, it asked if I wanted my open files saved and reopened when I opened the browser again. I needed to restart my laptop and I decided to close Firefox first. It asked if tabs should be saved and I said yes. After I restarted the laptop and reopened Firefox, all of my open tabs (I think about 35) were gone. Can I get them back?

Hi there, When I turned my laptop on this morning everything from my browsing history and pinned tabs to my bookmarks and passwords was just...poof...gone. I feel like someone stole my first born. Not sure if I'm just in a panic and not remembering how to fix this easily but regardless, please can someone help me:'(

Something or somebody emptied my bookmarks. I tried the import/restore routine but was told that Firefox "was unable to process the backup file." I also tried System Restore without success. Can you help me? I don't want to leave Firefox, but the problem reoccurs, which is maddening and time-wasting. Thanks, Bruce Berckman

I opened a profile that I had just used recently to a blank tab bar. I closed it and the sessionstore-backup folder did not have a recent backup, The most recent about a week old.

Just for testing, I tried to restore with one of the upgrade.jsonlz4 file, about 2 weeks old, but it also had no session. I then restored one that was 2 months old. That one had a session

Now, Firefox no longer generates the upgrade.jsonlz4 files

Re ipad. I was having a problem with Firefox not opening a new tab when clicking on a link online. I searched for solutions and read that I needed to delete the app and then re install the app. So I did. I now have none of my years worth of bookmarks. They are gone. How do I get them back? In addition, the home page has none of my shortcuts but has a bunch of shortcuts I need gone but they will not delete. Please help me. Respectfully, Ravyn

When I opened Firefox today, all my bookmarks are gone and a message about a Firefox is opened by another application is showing. None of your online suggestions helped. Is there a hidden way to restore Firefox to another version?

Hi, it looks like Firefox pushed an update on September 19, and after that, all my tabs were closed, I got logged out of all my accounts, and it opened a new blank Firefox window. Is there any way to recover my tabs and data?
