How to get rid of Welcome to Freedom screen to access my email? I thought it wanted a donation but that has not solved it, and clicking Release Channel does nothing

Hi Can you please help i have tried everything to get rid of this message i have uninstalled and reinstalled i have constantly refreshed and nothing helps,I get the message The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of firefoxs files is in use by another application also for quick access place your bookmarks here on the bookmark toolbar. I am not very technical but it is driving me mad please fix this for me Thanks

It started with Amazon/Kindle. Couldn't buy books through the Amazon App so I had a workaround which put me into the full site amazon.co.uk. Not anymore. Firefox redirects me into the App regardless. I can only get into the full site now by uninstalling Amazon Shopping. That's silly. Now, Firefox is blocking legitimate site links from my emails, like Greenpeace, for example. Variations on "site blocked" messages. Switching to DuckDuckGo avoids all these issues. Recently thunderbird received an update. I can tell because the colors are slightly different.

Now the "back gesture" I used to close Thunderbird stopped working.

McFee is trying to sell us computer protection. We have had Firefox for several years. I am now getting an alert to Turn On Firefox. How would it get turned off, and how do I turn it on without going through Mozilla's selling site?

I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?

Can you let me know when Firefox will launch smoothly after an iOS update? The problem is that when I browse, switching from tab to tab to access the tabs, users can access even a few seconds of switching between open tabs or when accessing a tab. I currently have an iPhone 17 Pro. I should mention that the problem occurred with my previous iPhone SE 2020 model. Apple had already diagnosed the phone, but no errors were detected. I received a notification that Firefox wasn't yet fully available for iOS updates, hence the problem. Unless this is a plugin, I'll check the post to see what I have to say so Firefox can run smoothly. Another problem is that when reading information on a website, Firefox is "cut off" and another screen zoom doesn't help, as I still can't see part of the text on the left. Today every time I open my e-mail account I get the following error message: "The folder Inbox on (my zoominternet e-mail address) could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again." Never seen this error message before today. What should I do to get rid of it or correct the problem? I am receiving e-mails, but I haven't tried to send any. Thank you.

So if I download an attached file on gmail using Firefox... it crashes. If I open up a new tab on Firefox... it crashes. It only started this week.

I'm using 12.7.6 and I really don't want to go back to Chrome, so I hope you can help.

The macbook completely freezes apart from the mouse pointer which moves, but cannot open a thing. Every time I have to turn the macbook off to restart it.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version.

So, after using firefox in the background to browse websites or watch videos I checked my memory usage in firefox with about:memory -> Measure and saw that youtube was consuming a decent amount >2GB (checked the main url when clicking the youtube src, it was the video on that sole tab i was watching and nothing else playing youtube in the bg) so i closed that tab, waited a bit and re-measured but then see that the memory usage for youtube rose about 200MB... and the website for youtube is that same url for the tab that i just closed (when checking the src in the results for Measure). I've been revisiting the about:memory page, reloaded it and re-Measured and youtube is STILL THERE. Even now, 10 minutes later i still see youtube there, with none of my tabs running youtube.

If i close firefox entirely and re-open my tabs then it'll very likely fix it but this has to be a major issue no? I shouldn't have to close the entire browser program just to fix a website visit, which is youtube of all websites.

As of this moment, firefox, with 8 tabs open, is consuming 4,452.99MB (~4.5GB) where 2.5GB is youtube for that page i closed.

I don't know if sharing memory reports from the about:memory page give my cookies away or leave me open to a similar vulnerability so I won't share it unless a dev or similar asks for it but for now, I've included an image showing all the tabs i have open on firefox, 2 windows.
