When using any dark Firefox theme on ChromeOS, the contextual menu text and background are both dark. This means there is little to no contrast, and so the text is very difficult to read.

Unfortunately, the ChromeOS screenshot tool doesn't work on Linux apps, and so I'm unable to share a screenshot. Tested using several dark themes, including the default -- behaviour was consistent in all.

Firefox installed using the official package through the built-in ChromeOS Linux VM "crostini". Issue has been reported by other users on other platforms in the past, so this seems to be a long-standing bug.

Sirs: I can logon to Thunderbird but WILL NOT stay on! I downloaded Thunderbird Setup 146.0.1.exe and it still has the same problem. I have been used T'bird for at least 5-8 years and this is the first issue that I have had. I also contribute to Mozilla as I did yesterday. I also Mozilla search engine.

Please share some details on how I may repair this issue. [edited from public forum] @friendlycity.net If we have to uninstall, can I retain my address book?

The connection is that i clicked on what i would call an investment solicitation from an Outlook email i received from Eunice.io

There are a few clickable hot-links in my email that return same error code. They might be gathering a lot of digital data about me but otherwise i believe not 100% but 99% theyre safe THX,,, my email : [email removed]@LiVE.COM P.S. - if i input more than 255 characters in the "Please summarize your question in one sentence box : Please summarize your question in one sentence:" ,,, multiple attempts to correct that wont clear the error msg!!!,,, pass it on : )

I installed MThunderbird on my Android phone today, using a QR Code to import settings. Receiving messages works perfectly, while sending messages is a mission impossible. I keep getting the message when sending: "Authentificanion failed". I have the same settings on my computer, and Thunderbird works normally, both sending and receiving messages. I don't know where the problem could be, so please help!

I'm also attaching a screenshot of the outgoing server from the desktop computer, which is also set up on the mobile application.

There's a community of people who need to be able to turn off single key shortcuts. I'm one of them because I use some speech input, and a stray word from you or an office mate when the focus is in the wrong place can cause a lot of havoc that's difficult to undo. You can also get in trouble when typing – hitting a stray "a" can archive something without you realizing it, and this has happened to me as well. A cat going across the keyboard can also cause an awful lot of havoc that's difficult to track down and reverse. If we could simply turn off single key shortcuts, that would go a long way toward solving this problem. Even better if we could remap them. There is an extension that does this but it's aimed at developers and also requires full control of your computer, which removes is as an option for more people. I think you'd make many people happy building in something simpler -- alternate keybindings for single key shortcuts, a setting to turn the single key shortcuts off, or, best yet, the ability to remap them. I just got thunderbird and I'm so grateful to the ones who have immediately answered my questions. Now I'm trying to transfer my email of thunderbird from my pc to my cell phone. I keep trying to take picture of the QR code and it won't take it. I tried with my regular camera and it took it fine. Can you help me? Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Using Thunderbird, when updated to version 148 (64 bit) the highlighted color is dark and does not contrast to the text color (black) so it is hard to read. How to change the color? or the color of the text?

The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?
