St first my problem was I can't open links because I need to enable JavaScript. I cannot use the suggested fix i.e. about:config. Doesn't work.

Just a few minutes ago I was able to post a DISAPPEARING query and then somehow I'm not in Firefox and when I try to log in WHICH I DID just minutes before I'm told my password doesn't work or I need to use primary acct which I try and still get told it's WRONG. So now I think I'm here by signing in with Gmail but the problems keep multiplying until I can't remember all the steps I took when something worked and a second later it was bad page or some warning or this that and the other. WHY THE "&?$ isn't there a fix I can complete before I die of old age? HOW DO I ENABLE JAVASCRIPT and why did it quit working?

This happens with multiple sites, so it is a Firefox BUG issue.

1. 1 - When I go to login at "office.com/setup" I try to set up a new account because I don't recall my login.
2. 2 - I type in my login name, example: "email@domain.com"
3. 3 - Surprisingly it says choose another email, that one is in use.
4. 4 - SO, I go back out and try again only THIS time I try logging in with my email because it is ME, not a new person
5. 5 - Then it sends me to a NEW window to change my pwd.

I enter NEW pwd twice. It sends me back to the login page, I enter my new info and it sends me back to enter my NEWER password twice again. I fall for it and enter ANOTHER NEW PWD.

1. 6 - It sends me back out to login AGAIN, then it asks me to enter my NEW password twice again.
2. 7 - repeat #6 indefinitely

This has happened to me at my bank and Microsoft office download. These two companies are NOT related. But I am using Firefox both times. SUGGESTIONS??? My bank locked me out for too many attempts to get in. On and ON and ON and ON.

On my Personal GMAIL Account…

Why can’t I locate my emails when I deselect the folder they are in? I use to be able to deselect a folder and the email would automatically go back into my inbox.

There use to be the availability to restore from my Personal GMAIL account a 30 day previous history… I would have to wait for the restoration, and every email I had in my Personal GMAIL account could be found in my INBOX. Has FIREFOX UPDATES REMOVED THESE TWO OPTIONS FROM MY PERSONAL GMAIL ACCOUNT?

This has happened several times in the past but after 2 or 3 days it suddenly will start working again!!! It's been over a week this time and no resolution yet! Note following LARGE ROTATING X is: "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." Same note as in the past but eventually disappears and video works just fine. The video is a live shot of the Abbey Studio's Crosswalk (ie, the one shown on the cover of a Beetles Album years ago).

Not sure WHY but suddenly I cannot open links or ages on my Android phone. It seems that JavaScript has gone missing and I have spent two entire days trying to get it back with about:config but it's not allowing me to proceed and it's a major pain I need to fix ASAP.

I can not enter information into the required fields for my online banking billpay service with Firefox but works fine with Google Chrome.

I can not log on to my email with Firefox but works fine with Google Chrome.

I spent a lot of time with the online banking tech reviewing the Firefox settings but we could not find what was causing the problem.

Hello, can you add better support playback on .mp4 videos? Seems with Firefox it's a hit-and-miss with some .mp4 videos that will play and some that will just show "No video with supported format and MIME type found".

All other browsers will play .mp4 videos without an issue but Firefox won't.

If you can provide better .mp4 playback support that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my oldest and primary email account (an AOL account) is only showing emails from November 2023. Nothing older!! This email account it 20+ years old and i often need to find old emails. I see the number 10,000 Messages next to Inbox . I have way more than 10,000 old messages. This was never an issue that i can recall, until today whats the story???

Sometimes in the background firefox will start to max out my ram usage (32GB). I am not sure if it is a addon or a site which is doing this. I captured a memory measurement, but not sure what to make of it. I don't have anything to add up parts or anything.

What is weird, is when I go back to firefox and tab through my tabs it will go back down to a reasonable level.

I have Firefox open. When I click on a link in Thunderbird instead of opening the page in the open Firefox window, it opens a second Firefox window? This just started happening and I don't know what I might have done to cause it. Using Windows 8.1.

I have Firefox on my laptop and cellphone. I just got a new cell and I noticed that my old phone is still being synced even though I set it to factory settings. I went into my Firefox account and see my old phone as not being signed out and I cannot sign out. I chose old phone/replaced but it still won't sign out. Ugh. Please help.

Use use POP3 to hang on to my emails. I have several accounts set up. One day, one of them disappeared. I looked at the profile directories and they all have an inbox and inbox.msf file that are not empty. The file and directory permissions are correct. I've read numerous things on the web on how to fix this but nothing has worked.

I've included an image that shows the first account has no "inbox" showing but the second one does.

I have created a folder to show me all unread messages, but it completely ignores a number of subfolders, whatever I try. What is wrong with my settings? All IMAP folders are synchronized (theoretically, although Thunderbird also not always syncs everything, but that's another issue).

I have implemented the following CSS properties on my website to achieve a zoom effect: body {

} but it is not supported by Firefox.

I tried this approach: body{

While this approach is supported by Firefox, I am experiencing an unexpected behavior. Instead of a smooth zoom effect, the entire website is zoomed out, and the content is shifted to the left, leaving the right side blank with a white space.

Honestly I don't have a clue as to where to look to resolve this sudden issue because I've never seen it before. While testing a simple single page static web site firefox keeps loading the same page into a new tab and a rate that I cannot keep up with. In a few short minutes there are hundreds of tabs open each with the same page. I've tried cancelling Firefox, rebooted my system, even removed and reinstalled firefox all to no avail (using Linux Mint). What's interesting is that all other browsers I try do NOT do this. They all work just fine. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions as to what might cause this and/or where to look to diagnose? Thanks in advance.

I am no longer able to log into my Capital One Venture account using Firefox. It is not a Capital One problem because I can log in using Microsoft Edge. Do I need to reconfigure something in Firefox?

I have several email account managed by TBird. Inexplicably I now have email sent to my "gmail" account, being copied to my "mail" account. This does not occur with all the time, but randomly. Additionally, when I delete an email from my inbox in gmail, it appears in my mail account inbox. I've had these accounts for several years; however, this has just started. Thanks for any assistance.

Thunderbird 115.5.1 is hanging when I send a message, then says it was sent but cannot place in the sent folder.

Version 115.5.1 is not showing some emails as 'read' when clicked on. The emais do not have lots of content. Is there a setting somewhere so that when an email is click, it immediately shows as having been read?

Tbird 115.5.1 linux. Problem: All Master (POP) acct msgs (still on server) were D/L to associated Alias acct (a separate TB acct). ? Easiest / fastest way to remove msgs originally to the Master address from the Alias acct - - WITHOUT deleting them from server, or... risk of messing up the TB master acct messages?

The Alias is separate TB acct from the Master (vs. using alias sub-folders in Master acct). Filters move new msgs for alias accts after arriving in master accts.

Problem acct is POP. I made serious blunder of checking new msgs in an alias acct & a 'shady cat' (literal feline) forced me to also enter the Master acct PW in Alias acct settings. (shakes head)

Now, ~ 98% of msgs in Alias acct were for the Master. Some wouldn't matter if deleted from server, but deciding which takes time.

I could make BU of mailbox files for Alias & Master accts; Then in BOTH POP accts, UNcheck until I delete them under "Leave messages on server," for "Server Settings." Then manually del unwanted msgs in Alias acct. IF... works as advertised, fine. If software glitch, it could del those msgs from server. Some report issues - TB not leaving msgs on server.

Is there another, relatively quick way to remove unwanted msgs in the Alias acct (editing mailbox files, etc.) w/o affecting the Master acct or files on server? Assuming don't D/L new msgs in Alias acct again, if manually edited Alias acct Inbox file, would Inbox.msf - or others - also need editing?

Editing the Inbox file in a text editor is doable, but tedious. Also thought of exporting Inbox file to CSV (or such) into a SS, to sort / delete records. I could see problems w/ that. Thnx!
