I upgraded from windows 10 to 11 My son was able to recover my e-mail folders, but some large folders are missing and the remainder only have e-mails from 2019 or earlier. How do I recover those e-mails? I am no longer conversant with the current technology or terminology. I need simplistic instructions.

I have installed Thunderbird with Zorin 18 and it won't show contacts. Google says that Thunderbird has full access to contacts. Attempt to manually add contacts fails with message of "Can't connect to server". I did have to manually add the calendar to make that part work. Is this an uninstall and reinstall (Thunderbird that is) situation?

I have never ever had a problem getting into my bank account until this evening.

Says it is insecure.

How can this happen? I really need to get into my account!

The last 2 days i have had problems signing into my Aliexpress account. The site has told me it is temporarily unavailable, then that the server is taking too long and now that parental controls have been used.

I am 68. I don't need or use my computer for sites that require parental control.

I can't find a place to manage my payment methods. The only place I found that was when I check out and fill in my information in a store website.

The browser suggests my card and under that it says "Manage payment methods".

When I click that it opens "about:preferences#privacy-form-autofill" and then quickly becomes "about:preferences#privacy".

I have lost my tabs after the recent update. They used to show all tab groups in toolbar icon as mentioned here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups) in manage tabs section. Only the groups that were open are retained, the groups which were closed are lost. They contained important tabs which I haven't bookmarked. I didn't see any policy of removal of inactive tab groups after certain time, any help would be really appreciated. I use the desktop app on Linux.

No FireFox icon on desktop. How do I access the search engine? I DO have the icon for Adobe Acrobat, which I got for FREE at Firefox. When clicked on only gives Adobe site.

Dear Thunderbird Development Team

I'm a regular Thunderbird user. I'd like to provide feedback regarding security concerns regarding the UI specifications of the Android version of Thunderbird.

Currently, Thunderbird for Android displays the sender's "display name only" on the email list screen, making the sender's actual email address invisible at all times.

I feel this specification increases the following risks, particularly in smartphone environments:

- Anyone can freely forge display names. - Phishing scams posing as financial institutions, e-commerce sites, and official support are common. - Users often rely on the list screen or notifications to determine the content of emails.

As a result, a UI that makes it difficult to determine whether an email is from a legitimate sender at the list screen level can become a breeding ground for phishing scams.

The PC version of Thunderbird allows for detailed header display, etc., and I'm disappointed that the mobile version of Thunderbird, despite being the same Thunderbird, is at a disadvantage in terms of security.

I would appreciate it if you could consider the following improvements.

- Setting to always display "display name + email address" on the email list screen

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). Why can't anyone fix this issue? Every day I have to go to about:config, enter "mica" then change from false to true or true to false to get these buttons to show up. It's ridiculous. I am currently using Firefox version 146.1 on Windows 11. Also, please note if I change the windows widget to true these buttons show up and are usable. The next days I have to change the windows widget to false and they show up and are usable so they work whether or not the widget is set to true or false. The problem is having to change the setting DAILY. I should not be having to do this.

I am trying to send a message to my cousin Gundula Loude whose e-mail address is gcloude@bluewin.ch. Unfortunately, the message is blocked for a reason I do not understand. There has been one other e-mail complaining about this problem but I do not understand why the blocking still prevails. Can you investigate and let me know how I get round this deliberate blocking.
