When I tried to sign in After I bought a. second pc, You totally confused The former owners. account with mine, Leading to her Canceling Firefox because. we shared passwords for Weeks. I don’t know what’s going on, but I wish someone would pick up a phone over there. I was with y’all for 15 years. Look at the past tense. I got to move on.

I understand that Postbox, based on Thunderbird, will never be updated to become compatible with Apple silicon chips. Therefore Postbox will cease to work when Rosetta will be deprecated on macs. Consequently my question is where can I find directions to import messages, filters, and preferences from Postbox to Thunderbird?

I just installed an update when prompted by Firefox. Now I can't log into Hotmail.

FF 129.0.2 x64. The update restarted FF. Everything else seems to work OK. But when I go to Hotmail.com, at first it displays my Hotmail inbox - which is odd; all other webpages requiring a login were logged out when I installed the update, requiring me to log in again - but then it switches to an error:

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.

The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

The same Hotmail account is still logged in and functioning on Chrome. This is why I think it's a FF-specific problem.

When i do update my configuration settings changing by itself. Example, "browser.cache.disk.enable" is "false" but after every updates its always changing to "true". This happens only after updates.

After upgrading the Thunderbird to the latest version (128.0.1esr (32-bit)), and trying to switch View->Layout->Classic View to Vertical View, and back to the Classic View, messages from last almost 15 months are not visible. Messages prior to 15 months ago are visible, and from that point, just couple of them showing totally unrelated content than nothing; looks like something is corrupted.

After the latest Thunderbird upgrade, one new message arrived and everything looks OK.

Any hint please?

I have only my profile file (eg 1b3ylg2i-default) from backup. I copied it into the Thunderbird\profiles folder on the new computer. I have tried changing the information in the parent higher up files (installs.ini and profiles.ini) to match, but no luck. Thunderbird complains that it cant find my profile. The source computer is dead, I have only this file as backup.

Is there a way?

since upgrading to nebula TB is very slow to open messages and also very slow to delet messages -unless this can be fixed I'd like to go back to the previous version which I think is 115 - anyone know how to do this proerly without ruining things

I'm installing Thunderbird on a new computer, now with Windows 11. I had exported my entire email set from the old computer. When importing on the new computer it pulled in all my old folders and the emails in them -- except for my inbox. A few emails were pulled in but another 800 were not. What can I do to import them?

I'm a newbie using Debian and Deb 12 ships with Firefox ESR and I've decided to stick with it instead of the regular release, 'cause it breaks some extensions I have. However, I want to upgrade to the latest ESR version, how do I do it? I tried going to (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr), but the file for linux 64 bit is a .tar.bz2 file, which I have no idea how to compile.

When I tried to set up a second email account (peters-up40@t-online.de), I received the following error message: "login to the server failed. The configuration, username or password may not be correct." The new address is correct, it was confirmed to me by Telekom. The PW is the same as in my first email address. What did I do wrong?
