При установке параметра "Настройки - Основные - Открывать Firefox автоматически при загрузке компьютера" в реестре создается запись HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - Mozilla-Firefox-E385C0CFD98A494C: "путь-к-файлу\firefox.exe" -os-autostart Что за параметр командной строки -os-autostart? На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

So, forgive me, I'm a little frustrated right now, but I needed to move an Open Tab to it's own window, without the use of my mouse (yes, it's having issues right now), but: I used to do this by tabbing to the TAB in question and pressing <Shift> F10, which opened a context menu with a Move To sub-menu. Now the menu didn't have that option. see pic below. ...Yes, I was able to do the same via, File | New Window, and coping the address to it with Windows cut/paste and <Alt><Tab>. Still I would like to know how to get to the TAB context menu option without the mouse.

My question is a very obvious one if you look at the two screenshots I've attached. The 'X' to close the Firefox browser keeps disappearing, along with the 'maximize' and 'minimize' options as well. This has been happening for months. The recurrence rate is 50/50 each time I open the FF browser. It's not just an issue with closing or minimizing a page, it also removes the access to my Windows taskbar at the bottom!! Normally, when I move my mouse to the bottom, my taskbar pops up and I can access whatever I need, BUT when the FF browser has NO 'X' at the top corner, my taskbar won't show up at all! This is finally getting on my last nerve!🤦♀

Any knowledge as to why this keeps happening?🤷♀

My FF browser is up to date, as of yesterday. My default search engine is google. My PC is still running Windows 10.....could this be the problem?

My cat jumped on my keyboad and Firefox detected 'unusual activity' She probably hit a combination of keys which lead to said activity. Instantly, I had to verify whether I was a human. I did, but really, it was my cat. Neither my cat, nor myself have bad intentions. I just thought Firefox security should know that these things might happen.

I hope that my cat's activity didn't compromise my account. Maybe 'unusual activity' should be less strict, though I do understand that Firefox must be vigilant. Maybe it would be a good idea to let users describe what happened, before sending Captcha?

Today I received a suspicious email from wilfred.bayer.lsr8a@sewjp.jolorvex.world. When I tried to forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk, it remained in the mobile app's Outbox and a message appeared as a notification: "Failed to send a message. Reject for policy reason." Then I took a screenshot of as much of the content as I could and attached it to a new email, sending it to the same address. This too remains in the Outbox. What is the problem?

I was cleaning up my Inbox when I looked at the "Important" folder. I read in a number of places that this is a "Gmail" thing, and messages get in this folder apart from any action etc on my part.

I have a couple questions.

FIRST, are the emails in the "Important" folder only in that folder or are copies in there? I deleted a number of 2 to 3 year old emails that I do not consider important today. The closer I get to this year [2025], the more careful I get.

SECOND, how can the auto-population of that folder be stopped and the folder be deleted? I keep my important emails in designated folders so I can find them.

I want to change the default download protocol accessing the mail server from imap to pop3. I went into the account settings & changed the default selection from imap to pop3. But the change does not take effect. Tbird still accesses the server using the imap protocol.

I don't know what to do when February 29 is in my calendar, 2026 is not a leap year. I've found nothing to help me. I have the latest version if Thunderbird. Thanks

My firefox is on the latest version and up-to-date but will not access my home router which l normally us ip address. When trying to acess in edge works with no issues I am using windows 11 and all ok but wish to use Firefox And the IP adress is corect Can you advise

Clearly, this is a very basic question which has undoubtedly been answered before, but I haven't been able to find it. If Thunderbird had an old-style Help feature with an index, I could probably look it right up. But coming to the forum is the only option the program gives me.

I have DuckDuckGo as the search engine in my Firefox Browser. When I type a question in the screen box the words automatically populate in the address bar. How to fix?

I lost all my data after installation of new firefox. I have lots of important data in that profile.

I forgot the password to sign in and when I reset, a new profile was created for me and all my data are gone.

Now, I even know the original password. I did not know, I will lose my data. How can I get my data back? Please help.

I changed ma mozilla acc password and when i try to log in with new password on mobile "unknown error" occur. I can login on desktop with same password just fine. What to do?
