Can't figure out why comments show up under YouTube videos in Waterfox, but not in Firefox?
Surprised that comments are suddenly not appearing under YouTube videos in Firefox but do show in Waterfox.

I have tried MANY times to make Firefox remain persistent as my browser. It appears I should log into an Administrative account to do so. Microsoft Edge appears to be the problem by remaining the default. I was told by the Tech Sprt for my Asus laptop to "delete" Edge. I entered the Administrative account using DOS. So many changes have taken place since I last used this account that I'm uncomfortable trying to take this approach. I was led to an administrative directory using "search" end while there was able to get a directory listing using DOS. But can't proceed. I really need the Windows pictorial version to proceed or technical support (preferred). Whoever helps must be fully capable.
Asus TS said I must delete MS Edge. The person seemed capable, but if I delete Edge, which I haven't found a way to do so safely, that may create problems but makes sense to do so because of the interference of MS Edge. My memory on how to proceed is that this process was MUCH less complex. I've read a number accounts by others with the same problem. My reasons for using Firefox, as an private engineer are to help prevent the stealing of intellectual property from wherever. Otherwise I'll have to abandon everything.

I noticed this morning that my Thunderbird tree no longer had a Junk folder. I restarted the program and Junk appeared, with stuff in it, but right-clicking the Junk folder no longer brings up the usual list of options, including Empty Junk. Instead, right-clicking seems to temporarily slow-down or 'hang' Thunderbird, a condition it does recover from in 10 seconds or so. I can open the Junk folder, select all messages and delete them, but something isn't right. Any ideas, anyone?
Update: Realized I didn't mention the version I was running, it was 133.0.3, under Windows 10, but when I opened Help to find this I was invited to do an update... so I did. When the 'update' was complete, I checked and am now running 128.6.0esr (64-bit). That seems strange. Oh, the same Junk problem persists under the 'new' version.
Update #2: Evidently the drop-down menu does eventually appear, if you just wait for it... anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds or so. Normally the right-click is instantaneous. What could have happened, I wonder?

1. Whenever I open Firefox for the first time since boot, it crashes, and I have to click on it a second time for a window to actually show up. Once it shows up, it's forgotten all about the previous session - none of my tabs re-open, the window opens up maximized.
2. Whenever I close the last open window, my previous tabs are completely forgotten. Checking task manager reveals that there are 10 or 11 Firefox processes that are still running.

I do see how easily it is to move an email that shows on my inbox list; right click and then choose move. Once I open the email though I can't find a similar process to move the email to another folder. Is there a way? What I currently do is to close the email window and then right click on the email as is shown on my inbox list.

Thunderbird is shows "downloading 1, 2, 3... of 259", but the messages don't show in the inbox.
Background: I'm on Thunderbird 115.18.0 ESR. Gmail quit downloading pop, despite my having set "allow less secure..." I have a bunch of email accounts, and wanted to get just one working, so I set the others from "pop.gmail.com" to "xxxpop.gmail.com", just so they wouldn't all keep failing as I was testing. I got some message about a problem with folders that I didn't pay much attention to.
I finally realized I'm going to have to switch from "Normal Password" to "OAuth", which I did.
PROBLEM: When I get email, it authenticates and starts downloading 259 messages. Fine. But those messages don't show in the inbox.
I've tried to repair the folder, that made no difference. I tried compacting, that made no difference.

I have recently noticed "random" mail is being added when composing reply. It only happens with Reply (All). New mail or Forwarding is not affected.
To every reply there is added text with "Jane Doe <jane.doe@example.com> = author" (with name and mail of person I know, have in contacts, but have no affiliation to replied mail). It is the same person every time. It happens on all accounts / identities. Happens on both PCs (Fedora and Arch). I do not have account for "Jane Doe" in TB.
I have looked thru all TB settings / account settings, but did not find anything. Changing said contact made no difference, the added text is still the same, so it is not being pulled from the contact. I have no extension enabled. Previous used ReplyWithHeader, when re-enabled this issue is not present.
Where is this "text" coming from and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks for help.

I have three email accounts on my computer, one IMAP and two POP. I need to move these accounts to a new Windows 11 computer. I want all of the accounts on the new computer to be IMAP. So I have two POP accounts containing messages that I need to move to IMAP accounts on my new computer.
When I open the profile folder on my current computer it has a MAIL folder and a ImapMail folder. The MAIL folder contains a Local Folder and a pop.1and1.com folder. Each of these subfolders contains the Inbox, Sent, Trash etc. folders that contain the email messages to be moved to the new computer.
I see lots of information on moving the profile but that doesn't address the POP to IMAP conversion issue or the fact there are three different accounts involved.
