Not sure if I need to reinstall. I have an account. I'm looking for the page with the checkmarks (hide people you know, wants to be friends, delete entire right side, etc. There have been an overwhelming abundance of ads sneaking into my feed. Should I re-install? Actually, I tried but nothing gets updated. Mostly, I have relied on F.B Purity probably 10+ years. And now I don't know how to revive it.

My profile images have weird graphical issues behind the profile images. I don't find anyone else mentioning this but I am sure I am not the only one. What can I do to fix this, it is very annoying.

Using Firevox 142.0.1 on a MacBook Air. I always have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in Preferences, but lately it sometimes fails to ask me. For example, if I try to download a file from Google Drive. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something I can do about it?

I have tried 4-5 times today unsuccessfully to setup my Firefox browser on my new Mac laptop. Cannot seem to actually receive any emails from Firefox with the verification codes. Have checked my spam filters, no emails sent there. Nothing sent to other email folders. Made sure accounts@firefox is in my address book. Not forwarded to another email address. And have sent test emails to my account associated with my Firefox account. They come thru successfully. But nothing at all from Firefox. Is there an email problem today from the Firefox servers?

I received an email from breach-alerts@mozilla.com informing me that Mozilla Monitor⁩ discovered a data breach that includes my personal information: Unfortunately, I don't know if this is a legitimate email from Mozilla. Can anyone confirm if it is or is not?

A website I have accessed many times before now redirects me to an italian site. Is this because of the beta translation? I'd like to be able to go to the real site. mecaforpeace.org

When I go to (seemingly) any Elsevier site, the browser tab immediately closes with no error or explanation. An example is this site:

I went through my laptop and turned off enhanced tracking protection for a variety of financial, work, etc. websites.

I was disappointed that this did not sync with my other computers.

Here's hoping Firefox developers will incorporate ETP exceptions into account sync.

I waited for a long time to do an upgrade to avoid problems. Today finally I decided to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox for my iMac, 147.0.1. Before the upgrade I successfully used with zero issues gemini.google.com/app . Now the website comes up, but regardless what I enter as a question I only get an error message stating "something went wrong". The same website works with no issues (TG) with Safari.

Does anyone else experience the same? Is this a known bug with this version of Firefox? Is there a work around for it? Is the solution just using Safari?

As usual on forums, none of the subject choices exactly fit my situation/problem, so I apologize for any unintended misdirection.

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer.
