I am running Thunderbird 52.9.1 (32-bit) on a WIN XP SP3 computer and Thunderbird 86.0b3 (32-bit) on a WIN 10 machine. Both computers use the same keyboard & monitor via a KVM switch. When logging in on the older WIN XP computer the login popup automatically progresses to the next email account for login when the current one is successful. I have 3 active email accounts loaded the exact same way in TB in both machines. When logging in on the Win 10 machine the TB login window will not automatically progress to the next email account so that I can log in. I have to manually move the mouse cursor to the next account. I have the same 3 email accounts loaded in the WIN 10 version as I do on the WIN XP SP3 machine. Is there any kind of hidden command that I can set/reset to have Version 86.0b3 (32-bit) automatically progress through all three email logins like it does in the much older 52.9.1 (32-bit) version? Or does this need to go in as a suggestion for future versions of TB?

I am a new Thunderbird user & I am having multiple problems figuring things out. Two very basic Q's, pls: 1) I somehow added a search field in the bottom toolbar... now, I can't undo it. How do I remove the search field in the toolbar? 2) I have also tried & tried to make the font larger in my inbox. There are different settings that seem to purport to adjust font sizes, but I can't get any to work.

I'm sure that there are existing threads that have long since answered these Q's. Hopefully, someone can direct me to those discussions. Thx. John

Since the last Thunderbird update, I am CONSTANTLY getting this popup: The messages you have deleted can be purged from disk. This operation will save about 327 MB of disk space. Select the option below to let Thunderbird do this automatically without asking you. PLEASE, I don't EVER want to see this popup message again. I have my Trash totally under control and this thing is driving me crazy!

Are there any plans to integrate Thunderbird with the Windows 10 Notification system, and suspend Thunderbird's own internal notification? The Thunderbird notification does not display all notifications when emails are received from multiple accounts; it's thought that the Windows 10 notification might be superior at stacking all new messages.

HI all. Was hoping to find/enable "go to website" feature while taking screenshots in firefox. For those who are not familiar when you take a screenshot while being on the web page you usually have little "go to website link" while viewing your screenshot and if you click on the link/ icon your screenshot will take you directly to the website this screen was taken at. Recently got s 21 / t-mobile. This feature is present on all other browsers like stock samy browser and chrome but for the reason my go to firefox browser has that feature not displayed on the screenshots. Attaching pics of the feature below.Please advise if you know what could cause that and how to enable "go to website" feature on screenshots?

After Firefox updated to version 86 yesterday a couple of my users are being prompted to select what they would like Firefox to do with a PDF file each time they download one. They set it to open in Foxit Reader and checked the box to do it automatically each time but it always goes back to the default setting. I confirmed that the Application settings in Options is set to use Foxit Reader for PDFs and I even followed the troubleshooting step for this issue and renamed the handlers.json file.

Also each time they try to download a PDF a prompt comes up asking for an admin password (see the 3rd image). These computers are on a domain, so the UAC prompt isn't unusual but we don't restrict them from being able to download files. But I'm having the same issue as well and I'm not on the domain, so I think this is more of a symptom then a cause.

Is this a bug in the latest update? I was troubleshooting a printer setting issue for them the day before yesterday. Did some testing on my computer and theirs, got it worked out that Foxit works best for their needs when printing a PDF from a web app. Then yesterday afternoon they began to have issues where they couldn't print at all. I checked it out and all of our computers updated to Firefox v86 and everything is now working differently now in terms of handling PDFs.

to get a useful (= ISO style) date and time format, I set the environment variable LC_TIME to lt_LT.UTF-8.

This works fine for the email inbox and for replies, but now the lightning calendar shows e.g. "2021 m. vasario 24 d. trečiadienis 12:00". As I don't speak lt, I can't easily interpret that :-)

Can I change the lightning calendar date format to a shorter one, i.e. ISO style "2021-02-24 12:00"?

do you now if there is an add on or a setting which allows me to track if my e mail was forwarded to another recipient and to which recipient?

Basically the only one showing up is uBlock origin, others show up as enabled when I go to the Manage your add-ons page, but not in the toolbar. I've tried resetting everything to default settings, updated every add-on, enabled history collection.. nothing has made a difference. Any tips would be very appreciated!
