Mozilla made an update of my Firefox installation on my Win11 laptop. all my password disappeared as well as my history and bookmarks.

I have now a virgin installation and is starting from scratch.

Now I get this error message: "This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile." I deleted met shortcut and I opened Firefox by using Windows search. Now I see 4 profiles! I think I do not need to create a new profile. Maybe delete 3 of them ? What to do ? And, how?

When i logged into a privacy session on a website the account did not automatically log out when i closed the session. I checked again by purposefully ensuring i closed all privacy windows but when i went back to the sight i was still logged in. I had to specifically log out the account.

Has something changed with the setting? This was one of the features that i liked. I don't want to find a new browser because what i expect is no longer happening.

Since yesterday I cannot log in to my hotmail accounts via Mozilla. It keeps coming up with the message "Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in". I select sending a code to an email to try a different way but it doesn't even send the code either so I simply cannot log in

I can log in via Microoft Edge so the issue appears to be with Mozilla but I have no idea what has happened or how to fix it

I love Mozilla so do not want to be forced to use Microsoft Edge :-(

Hello. I have some questions. I want to delete the image, but I don't know how. How can I do this? I've looked into it, but I couldn't find a solution, so I came to ask for advice.

When opening Firefox version 147 it asked if I wanted to install updates and after answering affirmative, then it gave "Error: Platform version '147.03' is not compatible with minversion >=147.02 maxversion <=147.02. Maybe try to reinstall Firefox?" The browser will not open. What is the workaround??

Recently I’ve had a few Firefox problems on my W11 desktop. Sometimes when I try to load a website, nothing appears until several seconds (30 or more) have passed. During that time, the bottom of the screen shows the message Transferring data. Then, after that long wait, very often only a top piece (1/3 to ½) of the page appears. If I wait long enough (a minute or two), the rest of the page appears. Another problem is illustrated in the two images. When I go to AARP, I get the first image. T then press the Reload button and the second image appears. This problem is fairly recent. Previously, the first image always loaded with not problem. Any ideas of what’s happening and, even more importantly, how it can be fixed? Thanks.

I have a two monitor setup. Since I installed the new AMD driver (26.1.1), sometimes when I play a game on my main monitor, and watch stream on Twitch in Firefox on my second monitor, it can cause the PC to freeze completely. I hear the sound, but the image is stuck.

I tried to disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox, and it seemed like a good solution. But because of that (which is its function), sites became laggy.

Is this a Firefox, or an AMD issue? Or Windows (I'm on Windows 11 25H2)? I will try to install an older AMD driver, but honestly streams had became laggy before the driver update for me.

The problem that is occurring with Firefox is one website American Airlines, I can not log in to my account with Firefox, however Chrome has no problem logging in. Running Windows 11 up to date Firefox 147.03 64 bit. below is the error message I get Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.aa.com/homePage.do" on this server.

When Firefox updated to 147.0.3, it shredded Quick Dial and I am using the latest version.. Less than half of my tabs still exist, and many of the "everyday" tabs - banking, utilities, online purchasing, etc, - are simply gone. Unless there is a solution, and I have contacted the developer with no success, I will no longer be a Firefox user. Beyond this issue, Firefox has been increasing difficult to use for purchases (big examples, Rock Auto, PayPal) and have had to switch browsers too many times to complete purchases DESPITE making exceptions for these websites in Settings. This situation is the proverbial "last straw". Solution or I'm out. Screenshot attached would have originally shown A FULL PAGE OF TABS.

hi i am unable to use the middle search bar on the firefox screen , i understand that this search bar is a dummy bar, i have been told that to make this bar work you have to alter the settings using about:config process, and changing the handoff from ture to false , to which I have done in the past and it has worked , but for a reason I cannot understand this seems not to work now , i am completely lost now and i am reaching out to the community for help and advise thank you . I am running Firefox 147 on a Windows 10 desktop PC. I am using DualSafe Password Manager. However, the 'Ask to save passwords' option is ticked in my Settings (see attached screenshot), and also greyed out so I can't alter it. Firefox keeps asking to save passwords for sites that I sign into. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this. To my way of thinking, if a thrid-party password manager is installed, Firefox should see this (it does) and automatically set itself to not ask.

После включения ПК бывает, что я не могу ввести текст в браузере.(как буд-то включается режим только для чтения, что не позволяет текст ввести). горячие клавиши работают, но текст не вводиться только в браузере. Оно само по себе проходит. Как это исправить?

I accidentally typed my protonmail password into the field of my username/mail address. I don't remember what more I did (propably answered yes to save) but now there is as autofilled my password for username always I open my Protonmail account. I am using Firefox as browser (should be the newest version) while Emailing.

I tried to delete autofill of Firefox according to the next advise: "go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to "Forms and Autofill," and uncheck "Autofill addresses" to stop saving them"

Then I was astonished. There is no "Forms and Autofill" setting on my Firefox at all!

Protonmail settings didn't help either nor Windows 11 - neither FAQ.
