Hi,

If I use the toggle button in the VPN app to turn off VPN (as per here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/turn-on-mozilla-vpn-desktop-computer), Firefox won't connect to the internet. Restarting the Mac doesn't help.

Operating Windows 10 on a PC. VPN opens but on attempting to connect it says "Connecting" for a varying time then disconnects without ever having made the connection. I've tried various locations to no avail. Works fine on my Android phone going in on the VPN using the same IP. Have tried restarting.

What if the small window that turns VPN on or off did not work? I have a solution that worked fine for me. It's a screenshot with some notations on it. How to I share it with all of you? Got it I just saw the opportunity to upload images. I'm a beginner, as such I would like to declare that I have great respect for all of you. I would never in a million years claim that I know more than anyone of you. OK, that's out of the way. 3 days ago the small window activating Mozilla VPN came on informing me that my VPN was off. Every time I turned the switch on it would go off by itself. I won't go into such happening any deeper. Lets just say I'm visited by ghosts. For 2 days I looked and search for the cause to help me figure out a solution. Yesterday, I found it. In the start search window (Low left) type Services. The page it would take you took my breath away. All the services that exist on you system, Running or Disable, are there. What is fantastic is that just click on anyone and you will get a short but complete description in plain English and without textual gymnastics but naked honesty are provided my Microsoft. Anyway I scroll down looking if there was anything on Mozilla and there were 3 services. to my surprise all three were disable. I took me 20 minutes to figure out if you double click on the service you get it's Properties window with the switches to turn the service back on. I still didn't know what I was doing, but I figure something is better than nothing. So I first set the Startup type on Automatic. Then I click the start button and the services status turn from Disable to Running. I was so happy. I did the same thing on the the other two services (Though one was for keeping a lookout for updates), and went to my Desktop. The small window was smiling at me (lol), It was saying that Mozilla VPN was running and the window closed. It was a lucky and risky act. I didn't know if I could play around with those services, or if I needed to do something before or after to maintain system's integrity. It worked. For the record such precise disabling of the only services Mozilla offers (Maybe I'm wrong on this) does not happens by accidental or unintentional behavior. The screen shot shows the Services, a short explanation on the left panel on that services do, and on the right it's Properties. Today's Microsoft won't be so clear and helpful without asking to get something from you. I am very happy to share this small contribution with all of you. Now I'm uploading the screen shot. I'm unable to start the VPN. I get an error "background service error". I've tried logging out and back in as well as reinsalling the app. I've attached an screen shot from the debug output that appears to show when it's failing.

Here's my problem : when I start my computer, the VPN is launching, but I cannot switch it on (the toggle is visible but cannot be interacted with). I have to restart the computer, and then the switch can be turned on again.

I have difficulties login onto Mozilla VPN on Windows 10, after sign in on browser, it's just forever waiting for sign in and subscription confirmation.

I purchased a new laptop and spent most of the day trying to troubleshoot the issue, it a clean install of windows and firefox with no add on. so why on earth does it hate me?

The VPN was simply waiting while every attempt only made the website say login successful please return to the VPN to complete I saw other threads saying to clear the catch data, reinstall firefox/the VPN and some people seem to have resolved there issue that way. But my problem continued to persist.

Eventually I found the issue to be the clock was wrong. The date was correct, and the time was correct. but the timezone was wrong, making the clock actually 8 hours behind. once I fixed that the VPN synced up flawlessly.

I have an account. How doI activate this account. I will go tomorrow in holidays, i have a NAS I would like to use it in holydays. how can i arrange it.

The disconnect only happens on the desktop computer. Samsung Phone, Microsoft Surface and Samsung All-in -One work fine.

Was this issue ever resolved? If so, where can I find the answer? Thanks.

mozilla android vpn 2.4.0 on samsung s8. app uninstalled anf reinstalled prob persists. get to Attempting to confirm connection and eventually times out happens in public wifi as well as my home wifi. my win10 desktop has no vpn issue on the home wifi. any suggestions??

I am new to Mozilla VPN. Followed the instructions and made sure mozillavpn was allowed to communicate through Microsoft Firewall on both public and private networks. Double-checked in settings Windows 10 to make sure it had permission.

I am currently on a private (home) network. Mozilla VPN starts with message "masking connection and location". It then displays message "attempting to confirm connection". It pauses there for a couple of minutes before failing. In quick succession, I get a message about "disconnecting" then "unmasking".

Any suggestions?

I want to update Firefox Reality on the Oculus Go. Oculus Go is no longer updating their store and has an old version. Where can I find the new apk?

I am also hoping the voice recognition now works which it did not before.
