My google calendar disappeared all of the sudden

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

good day....ii hope someone can help. the other day i was accessing my yahoo account spam folder and by accident, i deleted the spam folder instead of emptying it. the spam folder is now sitting in the trash and i'm unable to remove it from there. when i log into my actual yahoo account, the spam folder is where it's supposed to be and not in the trash. i tried removing the yahoo account from thunderbird and reinstalling it in hopes that it would rectify the problem, but it hasn't. does anyone have a solution?? i would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. thank you for your time...mike s

A fair number of folders in my primary email address's inbox have been out of sorted order for at least several months.

Most of them are folders I access quite often; they now appear AFTER what used to be the last folder ("Zoom").

If this is a "feature," I suggest moving the highest activity folders to the FRONT of the inbox rather than to the BACK.

HOW DO I RE-SORT MY INBOX FOLDERS?

I am not able to send emails I have checked all my SMTA settings I am running version 147 and this just began on 1/26. I have turned off anti virus, run in safe mode and nothing works. I can send emails from my phone and using the provider webmail but not on my laptop. This is the msg I get

' Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) promail.ptd.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

I now have 2 accounts in Thunderbird: Local (which has years of folders, but stopped receiving email from my Web mail provider) and my webmail Provider that does not download it from the provider. He claimed it is more modern and safer to synchronize across all devices and keep stuff on the web Mail application. I prefer to keep all my folders and emails on my local computer. Should I use POP? iMAP? to do that? Thanks for your assistance?'

A lot of people tend to reply using an old subject. Multiple messages then become nested making management a nightmare. I would like to return to the old way of displaying messages, each on standing alone.

After a previous update, reply or messages with the same header started be be nested, each one showing only the sender and the subject, which is now the same. I am forced to read through them all to find the one I want. Deleting any in the change can be hazardous.

How to go back the old way of message display?

I have been trying to add a new contact to Personal Address book. This process refuses to complete through the "New Contact" panel. However, I have Thunderbird set to add addresses from all sent emails to the address book, and if I send that same person an email, the email address does get added to contacts list.

I very rarely use the "Add Contact" process, so I don't know how long this fault has been present.

Any help please?

Hi there

I have a desktop, a laptop, and a cell phone. If I have the application installed on these devices, and setup my email account (POP3 protocol), can I have the application setup such that they are synchronized in any ways?

e.g. if I send an email from the Desktop, will it appear in the Sent folder in other devices? e.g. if I receive an email from the mobile app, will it appear in the Inbox in other devices?

I ask because I do not see that but I do not know if it is a problem with my settings.

A "send later" button came up one morning instead of the usual "send" button. When I clicked on the write button to see where the "send" button was, several choices came up but when I clicked on the "write" choice I lost the other choices and now can't get back to the original write button and still no "send" button appears anywhere on the menu. I can save messages to Draft but still can't actually send them. I can still receive emails, just can't send them! Help!

I was away from the computer for a few days until Dec 9. I have now found while I can open the program, it doesn't work correctly. At first, it wouldn't delete emails from the inbox. Now, in addition to not deleting the emails from the inbox, it won't download new emails from my ISP server. I checked the server settings and they appear to be correct. I can send a test email to myself and receive it at my ISP email server, but Thunderbird won't download it. I am using what I believe is the current version of the program (Version 140.6.0esr (64 bit). I am not a computer literate person and don't know what I need to do to fix the problem. When I tried to login I see this information:

This is very strange, because I tried it on another PC and this is the same. It looks that yahoo even didn't try to check password, because this is not matter if I wrote correct password or different - I see the same information.

Please help. I have two yahoo mail account and this is the same.

Both accounts works well on another e-mail client and I can access to my account without any problem by browser. This is only thunderbird problem.

Cannot enter SMTP password

I have smtp.gmail.com set up as my outgoing server (port 465, username = my gmail address, Authentication = OAuth2, connection security = SSL/TLS, also tried STARTTLS with port 587). There doesn't appear to be any way to set the password in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings", even when I click "Edit". Nor can I add a password to the "Edit/Privacy&Security/Saved Passwords" dialog box (which allows you to see existing passwords or remove them, but not add any).

When I try to send an email, the "Sending Message" dialog box pops up, and after a few seconds a second box pops labeled "Login to account 'smtp.gmai.com' failed". This box has three buttons: "Enter New Password", Cancel and Retry. Clicking on the "Enter New Password" button does not offer me the chance to enter a new password--instead, it immediately takes me back to the "Sending Message" box, which then immediately takes me back to the "Login...failed" box. There is never an opportunity to enter the password!

TBird 140.7.0esr, Thunderbird for Linux Mint. Mint version 22.3.

Sending works ok if I choose a different SMTP server.
