Hi. So for quite a few months I've been experiencing two issues relating to the Firefox auto fill for login details.

Issue 1. When you visit a website sign in page the "Suggested logins" box pops up at the bottom (all normal). But then when you login the box won't go away. I can navigate to somewhere new in same tab or switch to another tab already open and the box won't disappear. To get rid of it I need to open a new tab and go to a new webpage, then I can go back to my already open tab.

Issue 2. The "Suggested logins" auto fill for sign in fields on a webpage won't work. This issue started around the same time as the first and is not on every website but a few including Google Account sign in which I use a lot. I will navigate to a sign in page, the Suggested logins box pops up, I select the login I want, but then it won't fill it in.

I've tried reinstalling the Firefox app, but it didn't work. I've kept using the app despite dealing with this everyday. They may be small bugs but they do get tedious after months of it daily. I was hoping an app update would fix the problem but no update has. So I thought I would share, see if its just me.

I believe this is a bug, but could be user error. I click the text color icon which opens the Text Color box. The last-picked color is always there and saved. But if I Choose a Color and then select one and save it to Custom Colors it only saves for the session I am in. If I close TBird and restart it the custom colors have all returned to Black. I also notice that on the Color Box that shows Basic colors on the left and the multicolor square on the right, that the Add to Custom Colors box is functional (but as I said above only saves for that session), but the Define Custom Colors box is greyed out.

I am wondering if this is a bug or something wrong with my installation. I am using TBird 102.10.1 in the latest version of Win 10.

I had problems with thunderbird email text too small. Resolved that but now the title line with subject to and from is too large. How do I change it. Windows 11 latest version of thunderbird.

Recently I have upgraded from Thunderbird 102 to 112, and I noticed that the unread and total mail counts which appeared on the right side of the status bar has been disappeared. Exploring options and other menus didn't help. Didn't want to dive into config explorer, because I don't want to tweak settings there much.

Are these counts removed from latest versions, or are they turned off somewhere, so I can turn them on?

I started using thunderbird 115 in linuxmint 21. It was upgraded from Thunderbird 102. I see the all text in bigger font size after the upgrade. I see no settings in the "Thunderbird Setting" which effectively reduces the fontsize. If I reduce the system font in Linuxmint "Font Selection", I see fontsize getting smaller but the font size of other application reduce to too smaller size. It is as if Thunderbird has some scaling factor set which is causing this issue. Please help.

So I have a video playing on firefox, but the moment it drops from the foreground, it immediately pauses the video (the actual video playback). The audio continues, but the video stops until it is back in the foreground, at which point the video continues where it ought to. I have tried disabling the unload tabs in the config menu as well as disable the foreground pausing or whatever its called, as recommended by previous posts. I used to not have this issue at all, so I'm not sure what changed. Please help! Thank you.

I used to be able to... have the list of emails at the top have the font be a size I could read there was also a filter box at the top With all that in place, I was able to read and scroll in an email that was under the list.

At this time, once the font is large enough to read (and I have to NOT have it compact), then there is not a way to read an email without actually opening it. Apparently it is very important to have huge tool bars at the top?

I see with windows Firefox version 118 a TLS extension id 65037 on every client hello handshake containing a bunch of data. Does somebody know what this extension is used for? I couldn't find anything about this on the web or in the firefox docs / release notes. Other browser (chrome / edge) don't have this extension in use.

I can no longer send emails as of today. Instead of O365 SSO login prompt I am getting the old one for wrong password. I did not change any settings for outgoing server, and I can still receive emails with no issues.

The thing is that I have another computer and that one is 102.15.1 version, same thing, cannot send emails.

I've tried to change to OAuth2 for SMTP but no luck, not getting SSO login at all.

Anyone have an idea what's it all about?

I want to download my emails periodically and save them in a folder on my computer (ideally in Thunderbird) - and not have them synced back to the email service providers' (ESP) servers (Microsoft, Yahoo, etc).

For example, I used to Export an email folder from Outlook Online (or whatever the f they are calling it now), download the resulting file, then delete the emails from Outlook Online. But that doesn't work anymore for some reason.

The idea is to periodically get my emails off the ESP servers, and save them on my computer - all done/saved in Thunderbird if possible. It would be a good feature to have. Or maybe it can already be done?

Dear all, I have unchecked all the boxes in "Settings/Search/Search Suggestions" and disabled history for the search engine and yet Firefox still displays search suggestions in the address bar. They even have a small header called "Firefox Suggest". How can I turn this off? Thanks for your help, Markus

I have Thunderbird 102.15.1 (64-bit) running on Debian. I can send and receive emails. But if I send an email, and the recipient replies, Thunderbird doesn't show the email in any of the folders or threads. If the recipient sends a new email, Thunderbird displays it in the "Inbox". How do I get the reply to show in the "Inbox"?

I deployed my NextJS app on Vercel, but I cannot access my deployed app through firefox because of HSTS.

I tried to access several sites with domain .vercel.app but the issue persists.

I can access all sites with ".vercel.app" domain just fine on other browsers except Mozilla Firefox.

I already looked for solution on the internet such as:

1. Removing entry on SiteSecurityServiceState.txt
2. Forget site
3. Clear browser cache & history
4. Restart browser

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi! please help me lmao i'm not sure wtf is going on. I recently (as of a week ago) had to wipe my pc and reinstall windows 10 after a botched update. So i installed firefox on a practically new pc. thing is... when i turn it on, i get this baby in my taskbar (see image): right under the pinned firefox and thunderbird logo, i get a really scrungly OLD (and i mean OLD) firefox logo. clicking it opens nothing. hovering over it shows a preview of a blank window with a random string as title. clicking it only opens a second blank window with nothing in it. eventually when windows finishes starting up, it closes itself. i'm scared it might be a virus. help? how do i make it stop??

I'm running firefox 117.0.1 on windows 10 home single language 1903 (sorry if that's wrong, i dont know where to check otherwise)

Since the latest download one of my 3 win10 PC's is displaying icons on top of the text. Firefox is up to date at Ver 118.0.1 (64-bit) I expect its a setting but I cannot find it. Screenshot attached. TIA KR's Andy B
