I am so fed up losing my pinned tabs.

I want a Firefox facility where I can have permanently pinned(locked tabs) and normal pinned tabs.

The permanent ones must not be able to be removed without myself physically clicking and removing them individually and are persistent when opening new browser instances, cannot be cleaned/removed by other cleaner programs are not saved in History.

Permanently pinned tabs should show a mark on the tab like a red padlock.

I use One Tab, but that has it's down side in that it clears my Tabs from the browser in to one single tab and then it is difficult to manage them, there are others and they all have their failings.

Please provide this locked tab facility.

Since the upgrade to v102.3.2, only my 'Collected Address Book' is linked to the Recipient field when composing an email. The settings are unaltered, with Local Address Books selected. How do I restore the link to my Main Address Book, that includes all other Books in Thunderbird?

I am on version 102.5.0 (64bit). I use Thunderbird to access my Charter email and my gmail accounts. I am unable to send email from my Charter account, but my gmail account works okay. This has been happening for a couple days. I was using a POP server on the 32 bit version of TB. I did a little research and thought maybe updating to an IMAP server would work. It doesn't. My settings look like they are what Charter expects. Server: mobile.charter.net. Connection security: SLS/TLS. Authentication: Normal password. When I try to send a message, it looks like it is sending, but it hangs there until I cancel. (On the POP server, I got a "Sender rejected" message.) I can send email through Charter's interface and through the Mail app on my iPad.

About 2 months ago I started getting errors accessing Yahoo mail in Thunderbird. I deleted the account and set up my IMAP according to the recommendations on the Yahoo site for third party apps. I have TB 102.4.2 64 bit on my HP desktop running Ubuntu 22.04. I have repeatedly, at least 20 times reconfigured to no avail. I have used TB with no problem for over 10 years. Back a few months ago I did set an application password for Yahoo as well.

I have looked at the solutions posted over and over again but no suggestions work.

Here are my settings: Incoming mail: Server Name: imap.mail.yahoo.com Port: 993 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2 User Name: Myname@yahoo.com

Outgoing Mail: Server Name: smtp.mail.yahoo.com Port: 465 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2 User Name: Myname@yahoo.com

What gives?

Draftkings uses Geocomply to verify location in Oregon. A few days ago all attempted logins began to fail due to firefox not recognizing this app when Draftkings website initiated location verification. It has not worked since in Firefox. Just tried Edge browser and it works fine there. I have checked all settings, been thru multiple tutorials and still, Draftkings website asks me to download and install this app, which is obviously installed and working already since Edge used it. I can see the app in my list but its become obvious firefox can't. Help

Until just a couple of days ago, I had been able to connect successfully with the Pinnacle Sports website dedicated for the exclusive use of customers based in Ontario Canada with my desktop computer while using the Firefox browser. For such customers, the Pinnacle Sports website requires the use of a WiFi internet connection and a GeoComply App. However, since then, I am no longer able to connect successfully with the Pinnacle Sports website with the Firefox browser, although I am still able to connect successfully with Microsoft Edge and Chrome, etc. Thus far, neither, Pinnacle Sports nor GeoComply App Support has been able to tellme what might have changed over the last few days with the Firefox browser, in order to bring this problem about, so I thought I might be able to get some help with this situation from Mozilla Firefox Support. Might you be able to identify the source of this recent problem? And, perhaps, provide a solution that will allow the use of the Firefox browser with the Pinnacle Sports website for customers based in Ontario Canada, moving forward? Thank you.

I dont know how to explain or how its called, What i want to know when i use Firefox for docker app i have to type path every time i want to use download while on Chrome when i double click i get drop down with paths i allready used so i just pick instead type every time (it can be frustrating because sometimes i mistype)

In 102.5.0 and all versions I have had thus far of Thunderbird I have the usual search, plus the "filter these messages" search box underneath on the toolbar.

Until very recently I could go into any folder and just put a word and it would do a search of that folder, but has stopped doing that now. I can be in same folder and put a name and that works fine.

Does anyone know how I can get the normal response that I have had for many, many years please?

The Thunderbird Trash folder is no longer deleting emails; you can empty the folder but the Trash folder simply "recycles" to the Inbox! This is having a disastrous effect on my Plusnet account where the limit is 1GB I spent hours deleting emails on Thunderbird only to find that nothing has been achieved to get me back under the 1GB limit I can't access the Plusnet Inbox because it's too full, so I can't delete from there either

Messages are disappearing from my Inbox. For example, I forwarded a message received yesterday successfully, but today it's not in my Inbox. When I look on webmail (1&1) the message is there. I've tried using repair folder on the Inbox, but after downloading about 4000 messages, this message is still missing. I've tried looking in spam and deleted etc but no sign of it. I'm using Thunderbird 102.5.0 on Windows 10. This has happened on other occasions as well. Any suggestions?

Forward email default is now body of email instead of recipient email

Upon the recent update there is an issue when forwarding emails.

If you click on forward the forward message pane opens but the curser by default goes to the body of the email instead of the "to" field. The cursor flashes in the to field but then drops down to the body of the email. Previously the cursor by default went into the "to" field as that is the first information one needs to fill out when forwarding a message.

Is there a way to fix this in settings or is it simply a glitch?
