I've selected an option to open PDF's in Firefox for preview. And if I wanted to download the PDF after preview, I simply clicked the downloab button from the preview app/tab. The files were downloaded with default filename and to the downloads folder without prompts. But since a while ago the dialog where the save location must be selected and filename given for the file opens up after the click of the download button.

How can I change it back to the previous behaviour without having to input filename and select the file download directory?

We are using Firefox on macOS to access web services that require Certificate Based Authentication. Our certificates are stored on YubiKeys PIV slots.

If we plug the token, open Firefox and access the website, it works just fine. The Certificate picker is shown and the OS ask for the PIV PIN to validate the access.

However, if we do the request when the token isn't plugged, Firefox does not ask for it, the website deny the authentication and the context is kept in cache. Requesting again the web site with the token added in between does not restart the certificate lookup and we are forced to close Firefox or move to a private window to make it works.

What is the proper way to avoid this issue? Is it a known bug? Is there a way to configure Firefox to always show the certificate picker even if no certificate are found and then reload the list of certificate based on connections events?

When will import and export be a full part of FF ???? I have bookmarks that I want to move from FF to FF Beta and can't. WHY isn't there aa import export ????? WHEN will will it be a part of the product??? I've seen so many requests for this here and on GitHub, yet no resolution. WHY?

Opened Thunderbird yesterday afternoon - all as normal no problems, nothing wrong. Opened Thunderbird last night - all accounts and emails disappeared TB asking for "new account setup" Tried to resolve by renaming the default profile to my profile Every time I set the new profile to "default" and restart TB reverts to the original default?

I seemed to try everything I found at the net, but since I updated to Mac OS Monterey, Chinese and other non Latin Charaters don't show up. It works with Chrome and Safari, What's the problem.

Hi I Can not remove Bookmarks. I test all usual ways but nothing happened!i first i test manage Bookmarks and select delete but it did not work... then i made my own account and nothing change... steal i can not delete bookmarks.

and not only that, when I click on sign in - it shows me a work email address that I rarely use - not my Firefox account / main email. I have to click NEXT then change email address from the drop down menu. I followed the setting attached. but it's still does it. I close Google tab, then go back and im signed out again! It's extremely annoying. How on earth can I fix this?

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Help continuously mentions something about clicking a "shield" to the left of the address bar, yet my up to date Firefox shows no "shield" anywhere i can find. Has an update obviated the need for it, and if so, do we have updated help files to reflect the new control for security, vpn and cookie usage?

Hello, My PGP key for one of my accounts stopped working while I was trying to draft a message. At first, the message said that my PGP key couldn't be located and thus my draft could not be saved (I believe I have all my drafts mandated to save as encrypted). I decided to delete the key from Thunderbird and try re-importing it. At first, it said the key had been imported successfully. However, when trying to select the key from my account page, nothing comes up. It's just blank. I quit Thunderbird several times and re-opened, only to get the same result. Now, after my most recent app restart, Thunderbird simply won't import my PGP key at all. Other accounts still have their PGP keys active, but not this one. I'm at a loss. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is this a new bug? I'm running the latest version of Thunderbird (91.8.0 (64-bit)) on macos. I've attached images. Please help! Thanks!!

Hi, how are you? How is wondering if you know when you change the default browser in Windows? It shows the portable Firefox browser Along with the installed one. How can I remove that from the system? Please let me know Thanks.

When using Google Meet, you are given the option to share your screen — either the entire screen, or a specific Firefox window.

I've noticed, however, that no matter what Firefox window is used, if you access an extension that creates a pop-up dialog, such as the Container selection button from Conex, the uBlock origin settings popup for each webpage, or a password manager pop-up such as Bitwarden, those popups will appear on the shared window, even if you decide to do this from another Firefox window altogether.

This is a major security concern for me, as I've had circumstances where the password entry window for Bitwarden will appear on any window, even if I open the extension pop-up from a window not being shared to Google Meet. I'm not sure where to submit this issue, so I'm starting from the Mozilla support page and going from there. Would appreciate anyone's help on getting this issue resolved. Thank you.

IfI reopen Firefox, it shows the content of open webbrowser tabs but no URL is seen. Only after I switch forwards and back again it can be seen again.

I can not upload a short screen video to show it.
