Firefox: Sprache ein Mischmasch aus Deutsch/Englisch. Trotz dass die Einstellungen nur auf Deutsch, sind die Menüs in Englisch! Wie bekomme ich es hin, dass ALLES nur in Deutsch ist?

Firefox "DECIDED" to translate my pages into Spanish. And it won't stop. No simple way to select IF, and WHEN, the user wants translation. Without a simple user controlled solution, the user CAN DELETE FIREFOX.

Why? Because I once went to the Costco site in Merida, Mexico to purchase a gift ????

Is this another nail in the Firefox coffin....upgrades that remove useful tools.....endless "tech" options poorly explained for the non tech head user....language changes not requested by the user, triggered in a highly thoughtless and foolish way that cannot be easily removed? Perhaps some Mozilla tech staff are secretly "employed" to promote other browser???

I'm sorry but this is garbage.

I see posts here from five years ago asking about this, and fixing this issue is a non-trivial process particularly for those not computer literate enough. It should literally just work out of the box with zero issues like EVERY OTHER BROWSER.

Crap like this is why I dumped this browser years ago, I guess I was right to do so.

All of a sudden Firfox changed to an unrecognizable language + alphabet. I uninstalled + reinstalled Firefox 2 more times + the same thing happened. If I try to change settings, everything is in illegible.

Just noticed that Firefox only has translation for Chinese Simplified from Mainland China, but no Chinese Traditional from Hong Kong and Taiwan users. Any plans to get it going? I would hate to switch back to Chrome or Edge instead.

Some of my email subject lines are in English, why is "corbeille" = trash, "envoie" = send, etc.? How can I change everything to French?

As you can see in the screenshot, the umlauts are missing in many emails. Unfortunately, the corresponding fonts can no longer be set in Thunderbird; I use version 140.6.0esr (32-bit). Where can I set that ä, ö, ü, ß (...) are displayed normally? Greetings from Berlin, Markus

translate wont work , i have 2 pc win 10 pro , same IP in china , on 1 pc is workking , but on the other one it wont , i did new install , refresh , disabled add-ons exc , my language set to english and i need to translate chinese intoo english please help thanks

I am reporting an issue with message filters in Thunderbird.

When the UI language is set to Japanese (ja-JP), the “Perform these actions” section in Tools → Message Filters is not displayed, making it impossible to configure filters.

Environment OS: macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 UI language: Japanese (ja-JP)

After switching the UI language to English (US) and restarting Thunderbird, the actions list appears and filters work normally. Switching back to Japanese reproduces the issue.

This seems to be a Japanese localization-related bug.

After 146 self installed, all the pages that used to auto translate that I had set up in earlier versions of FF, no longer auto translate. I have to manually go and select the languages every time - because FF will forget the settings after I close it down.

I hope you can get fix it eventually.

Since today (Version 146.0 Windows11 64bit) all subfolders, which are configured to send emails from (e.g. name+test@example.com for folder test) are renamend to the german word "Gesendet" for Sent. You can see that in the second screenshot. In the first screenshot you can see the name "Gesendet" which is locked against changes and the normal name of the folder is support in this case. I don't know, what has changed to yesterday. And as I'm using this feature intensivly, the "Gesendet" over all folders is quite annoying.
