I am running an iMac that is about eight years old.This afternoon my Firefox browser was taken over by a "warning" from "MacOS security center" that I should go to THEIR macOS support site to get my system unfrozen. The number they give is 1-877-xxx-xxxx. I cannot get this intruder to go away, even by restarting the computer.

We are getting this Random Error while Scrolling. Before Version 141 it was working fine. Even after getting connected and getting response that update to 141.0.2 but same issue still exist.

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.epos.mp.gov.in. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

I have a problem with minimizing the Firefox window on a MacBook (M1, 2020, Tahoe26, FF 141.0.2 (aarch64). After launching the browser, using Command+M for the first time works and the window moves to the taskbar normally. When the FF window returns, the shortcut stops working and the Command+M Thumbnail option becomes grayed out. It doesn't matter if FF is in fullscreen mode or not - the shortcut only works the first time. ____________ Cześć. Po uruchomieniu przeglądarki, za pierwszym razem użyciu Command+M skrót działa i okno normalnie przechodzi do paska. Po powrocie okna FF, skrót przestaje działać, a opcja Miniaturka Command M staje się nieaktywna. Nie ma znaczenia, czy FF jest w trybie pełnoekranowym, czy nie - skrót działa tylko pierwszy raz.

Please tell what creates the folder "Other Bookmarks", its function and the purpose that it is created. I do not put any there, yet there are dozens and I am ignorant of its proper use. I see sites that I might have visited, but still do not know how they got there. Thanks in advance for enlightenment of a user, especially the built in protections.

When capturing a screenshot, I used to save to desktop as default (as set in settings). Now, regardless of the default folder set in settings, FF always downloads to "Downloads" folder. Very irritating. So now I click the "always ask" checkbox in settings. Is this a bug or a feature???

Hi hi, I just did a complete reset to factory settings of my laptop (MSI), and a wipe of my hard drives too. After reinstalling Firefox (literally the first thing I did after setting up windows), it runs more slowly than before the reset (even for a basic search on Google/Duckduckgo). I am also unable to load any pages under the domain discussions.unity.com : the page loads forever, it's impossible to click on anything (even the hovering styles don't work), and I get a banner at the top of the screen that says "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page.". Also the memory usage for this page skyrockets (gone up to 4000MB??). I've disabled the 2 extensions I have (Dark Reader and Adblock Plus), restarted Firefox, restarted the computer, cleared the cache, even turned off the mozilla syncing, nothing worked. Any idea on what could be happening here? It's the first time in using Firefox for over 15 years that I've seen this happened.

Since updating Firefox on June 30, 2025 on my Dell desktop computer that runs Windows 10, most of my bookmarks are no longer visible. Only four of my bookmark folders are visible and most of their contents have disappeared.

However, 1) my uncategorized bookmarks - those in "other bookmarks" are still visible, and 2) If I go to "Manage bookmarks" and do a search, I can find all of my bookmarks including those that are no longer visible.

In addition, I can no longer add or delete bookmarks. It looks like I can do add a bookmark and it will let me go through the steps of adding a book mark - it even says I can put it in all my old folders that are otherwise no longer visible. But one I complete the process the bookmark does not show up.

I have read multiple Firefox Help articles about disappearing bookmarks and have taken all the steps suggested including: - Attempted to restore backups of bookmarks - didn't work. It shows me the multiple old backups but when I try to restore one I get the message "Unable to process the backup file". I have tried it with at least four of the old backup files - all without success. - cleared cache - did troubleshooting mode - refreshed Firefox - uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox - looked to see if I had a different profile other than my default profile that I could switch to. I do not see another profile.

Nothing has helped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
