Hello, I have Win8 with black borders, so I can't read and see inactive tabs at all. (http://i.imgur.com/9feS5wN.png ) I want to change the text color and make it so that the hover effect is displayed at all times. (http://i.imgur.com/wRubuQ3.png )

I found a bunch of different things to do, like "tab:not([selected="true"]" ".tabmail-tab" but none of it works. So which identifier (or whatever it's called) can I use? And how can I achieve the hover effect?

I hope someone can help, thanks in advance :)

I have two groups of email addresses that I sent group mail to. If I want to exclude one or more people in a group due to the content or something but do not want to remove them from the group, how do I do this? I also forward mail to these groups and if one of the people in the group has sent me a message that I want to sent to the group, I want to remove the senders name before forwarding the message but do not want to remove the sender from the group. In my old email software when I add the groups to the message I could double click to show the mail addresses and remove any that I did not want to include for the current message, without removing them for the group.

I am using Thunderbird 24.4.0 on a MacBook Mountain Lion. I have three email accounts - about to drop one having changed provider. Each account has different message pane buttons, not by intention, none have the full set, and the full set cannot be restored by right-clicking to customize and selecting 'restore default set'. In my opinion, it would be a great feature to have "Archive" as a filter action. That way I could create a filter that finds messages older than X days and "archive" them. This way we, the users, will not depend on other users writing and maintaining add-ons, which do this very simple action. I hope this is consider as a feature request.

Whenever I click on an email address from within an email and ask to add it to my address book, the contact is added to Personal Address Book. How do I change that so that new addresses will be added to another book?

We have multiple email accounts. How do I make one of the accounts the default sender address when we Send to a document to Mail Recipient? Or how can I change the order of the email accounts on Thunderbird that they appear?

Since Comcast will no longer allow me to "send" from my AOL Address I need to change my "from:" address on every e-mail I send. I thought I could make my Comcast outgoing server the default one and that would take care of it - it didn't. Then I thought I could just delete my AOL outgoing server and Thunderbird would then have to use my Comast Outgoing Server - it doesn't. I can continue to try and remember to change the FROM with the drop down list but it would sure be nice if I could save this aging brain of mine and make the software default for me.

I'm running Thunderbird V24.6.0 with an IMAP email account hosted by "myhosting.com". Settings are Synchronization & Storage set with "Keep messages for this account on this computer", "Synchronize all messages locally regardless of age", and "Don't delete any messages". But any email in my trash that is over 7 days old is disappearing.

I have emails that ask for certian items to be addressed such as "please fix leak in bath sink" and then the next line will have another request and on and on. I would like to answer each question at the end of each line with a response (preferably in a different color font to stand out) such as "yes - will fix" or "that can't be done" or "you will have to fix that yourself". Then I want to send that reply back to the original sender.

eg like swiping a yellow marker over a sentance? Most email programs and word processors have this feature and it would be great to have it handy along with the other text modifiers.

I have 30 messages from my website users. How can I (1) Replay to ALL by using one email. I know reply to all allows me to reply to each person INDIVIDUALLY, and (2) how can I get all email addresses from senders AFTER I FILTER my emails, to get a list of emails that can only from my website.

I get tons of mail from my website, and I need a easier way to manage workflow. opening every single email, and copying the email address for 50 emails would be a lot of work. I want to just "select" all emails, right-click, and grab all email addresses from senders.

And, as stated above...send one email to all by a REPLY button/option.

OK, seen lots of articles on creating a new calendar in Lighting. They all say file-> New -> calender. The File menu in the drop down at the top left does not have a New option. It does talk about Task Mode and I have no idea what this is (nor does goggle).

Since a few weeks I use Thunderbird 38.1.0.

But when I will get some add-ons, the site informs me that all the add-ons are not compatible with my version of Thunderbird 38.1.0.

I use windows 7 Pro 64.

Please can anybody help me with this problem?

Before the Thunderbird 45.0 update came through, I used to use an ad-on called TT DeepDark. Since the update, I get an error message telling me that this add-on is not compatible with version 45.0. Because of a visual impairment, I depend on dark themes so that I can read more easily. I thought at first that it was something with that one individual add-on, so I searched for one to take its place. However, it appears that no theme add-on available through Mozilla is compatible with the latest version. Is there any kind of time frame for when this might be fixed?

I do know that things often depend on individual developer, but since every single theming add-on is currently nonfunctional, I know it isn’t something like dependent on an individual developer.

Is there any kind of workaround in the meantime? I really depend on that dark theme so that I can use Thunderbird more effectively.
