Hi, am not finding anything helpful in the support area, so hoping someone can help me solve. When a calendar reminder pops up, and I try to snooze or dismiss, I get this message:

Status Code: 2,147,500,037, null

Server Replied with 400 If you’re seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add or edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right-clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view.

Thing is, I do want to add and edit events, so I have no other options and the reminder keeps popping up every couple of minutes it seems. Any help resolving is appreciated. Thx!

I have Thunderbird 148.0 with windows 11. I have 5 email accounts. How do I turn off those unwanted and unneeded notifications of email messages. There are TONS of them and they are very irritating and serve no useful purpose that I can see.

My Thunderbird email program ran into problems getting mail from Google. So I deleted the program and then installed it again, now it cannot log in to any email address I have. How do I rectify this? I can access the mail directly thru Google but I prefer you email program.

Hi there, since recently, I encounter the following error message when trying to send emails via Thunderbird on my mobile: Failed to send some messages. Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable DNS MX or A/AAAA resource record 1MgvvT...

The SMTP server settings are as shown on the attached screenshot. I haven't changed them since installing Thunderbird and the problem appears for the first time. Thunderbird version is 15.0.

Is there anything I can do about it, e.g. by changing my Thunderbird settings? Since gmx.net is a webmailing service, I cannot change their server configuration. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot to all of you!

Suddenly today, I can't receive emails from my several email accounts. I can send emails. I know there are emails, since I can see and read them with Mailwasher.

I have seen previous posts here with the same problem, but I didn't see a viable solution. I didn't try the alternate test version - forgot the name and how to access it. (I'm on a new computer since last week.)

Je viens de constater tout récemment plusieurs choses qui me gênent : 1) je ne vois plus apparaître la commande "insérer" pour insérer une image dans un texte 2) quand j'enregistre un message pour le sauvegarder je ne vois que le texte du message, mais plus les entêtes (adresses e-mail, date, etc.). Hello, I have been using THUNDERBIRD for many years and I am very satisfied with it. In fact, I contributed to donations during the previous year. I have just recently noticed several things that bother me: 1) I no longer see the "insert" command appear to insert an image into a text 2) when I save a message to save it I only see the text of the message, but no longer the headers (e-mail addresses, date, etc.). I'm dealing with a properly updated 'bird: 140.5.0 (32-bit) running on an equally updated Windows 10 desktop. First thing this morning, out of nowhere, I started getting an "unable to write the email to the mailbox..." message when sending, thus I could send but not save. And then I realized I wasn't receiving either, on all three accounts in my Thunderbird. I stopped everything and focused on trying to fix this. It's been an all-day, losing effort. So far.

I tried the various quick checks and fixes recommended here and there: I'm running the program as an administrator. I restarted the program. I rebooted the computer. I think I have enough disk space, but to be sure I deleted some bloat from possibly overly large files. I compacted, even though the program is configured to do that regularly. I temporarily disabled my antivirus program. I went into my webmail and deleted all messages that have arrived since my Thunderbird stopped receiving, in case one of them was corrupted. And probably some other attempts as well. Nothing has helped.

And now a second, even worse issue has fallen from the sky. Thunderbird opens. The folder list is where it always has been. The number of unopened messages in each folder is there in boldface, as always, but...the folders are all blank and I get the dreaded popup: "unable to open the summary file...." Have I lost my years' worth of carefully curated emails?

I've tried folder repair. I've deleted parent.lock. Etc. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

I will be super-grateful for any wisdom sent my way.

I am expecting an important e-mail and none have come through for 2 days. Can someone please fix what ever the issue is so I can receive my e-mails. My e-mail address is: [edited from public forum] @southslope.net

Hi, I had an issue where folders were suddenly not sorted in alphabetical order. This seems to have been fixed with the latest release at parent level, but all sub folders are not sorted in alphabetical order. The "Reset folder order" is only available when you right click the main account and not any sub folders

I had a scammer in my email. I've since taken the computer to a 'fixer' guy --and they got the intruder out. BUT my read emails are disappearing after a short time. Is there some setting that automatically deletes them? how can I find it and change it??
