Onshape starts ok and displays all page toolbars and the graphics correctly for around 3 to 7 seconds then it all goes blank for several seconds and then only the toolbars etc return. The graphics for the model disappears along with the camera view which shows where the model is in x y and z and also the camera does not move with the right mouse button pressed. See pics below:

It also happens in all web pages but the data comes back, Onshape is the only cloud based App I am currently trying to use. I did install a Xerox print service recently and that needed a .NET update (3.5), after that these problems started. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from the Mozilla site which cured the problem at the time but it has since returned.

I am running a desktop with Win 11 pro with all the updates. I have Firefox as my web browser and Thunderbird for my email accounts, Talktalk, Aol and gmail. When I try to open a web page with a mailto link, although Firefox is set as default it will not open the link, oddly it will work with gmail. I do not have this problem with my other desktop running Win 7. How do I get it to work on Win 11. Please note I am a 80 year old and totally illiterate computerwise. Therefore I need the answer to be step by step and when you say open this or that please tell me how to open it. Geoff

I have Mozilla Thunderbird and I find that some emails particularly with attachments (but not always) disappear from my inbox after a few months and I can't find them by doing a search under the sender's name or in my inbox.

As an example my most important emails come from 2 sources. One is an accountancy practice and the other a property management company. Those from the accountancy practice are nearly always missing after a few months but those from the management company rarely are.

If I carry out a search on the accountancy practice name, nearly all of the emails in the list are ones that I have sent and the only way I can find a particular email is to look at the trail before my email, but by doing so there are no attachments with their email. If I then look at the date of their email in the trail and then search for the date in my inbox, the email isn't there.

Something changed, but I don't know what. I can not receive nor send emails on my PC Spectrum email account. I can receive and send them on my iPhone and iPad. I've changed the configurations, but no luck. I'm using the password saved on my iPhone to log into Spectrum/Charter.net Any suggestions? Thank you!

In previous Thunderbird versions, when you subscribed to a RSS-Feed that required authorization, Thunderbird prompted for it, just as a Webbrowser would.

I'd enter the username and password, tick the box "Save in Password manager" (or something) and the feed would come in.

I don't know when that changed, but nowadays Thunderbird just says "Feed is unautorized". No password prompt, no possibility to mark a feed as "requires Authentication".

I know I could pass username and password in the URL, but that is rather unsafe compared to saving the password in password manager protected with a primary password.

It seems that there were some bug reports some 21 years ago about the same issue, so maybe this is a regression?

I was super pumped about profiles but it seems it has gone terribly wrong for me.

I created a two profiles on one computer and would like to reuse them on another. Apparently this is impossible, which is really too bad, please change that! Why would I want to redo everything on every computer that I work with? And it deleted bookmarks on other computers synched to my account, why?

And I deleted every profile on one of my computers, in the hopes to "start fresh" since I had lost all my work, and now Firefox refuses to open. It indicates "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible".

So now I need to re-install the whole app. Just... Why?

I use Firefox (the current version) on a Dell Windows 11 Pro laptop. I have around 8800 bookmarks, and I've lost around half the tags on my bookmarks. (The bookmarks themselves are OK; I'm losing about half of the tabs.,) This has happened to me twice recently, and I'm restoring the bookmarks as I write these words.(after I'm finished, I'll save two copies of the HTML file for backups. Can anybody tell me why this is happpening, aaand How I can prevent it in the future?

Hi All:

I just got a new laptop and so I am getting everything set up the way that I like it. I have come across a problem with my sidebar though. I like to keep my bookmarks up all the time, but I want them to not be too wide and take up a lot of my screen. On this new computer, there's an addition 5 cms or so of white space at the far left of the tool bar. It had different buttons on it up at the top (one of them had something to do with AI) and a little gear down at the bottom of the space. I was able to remove all of the buttons up at the top, but I can't seem to hide the whole thing. I just want to see my bookmarks, without that extra customization sidebar. Is there a way to hide the spot highlighted in pink, but still have the bookmarks visible?

As I mentioned I can't seem to access my network folders. I only have this issue in this machine but I have my account on 3 different machines on the network with no issues. All have the same extensions and settings.

I did a clean install of Windows and downloaded Firefox, but after signing in and pressing sync none of my old bookmarks or anything is showing up. Is it gone now? I did not have Firefox on any other device.

I used to have Windows 10 and was using Thunderbird with Quickbooks POS 18 and if I wanted to send an email in Quickbooks like a purchase order or receipt, it would open up a mailto window in Thunderbird with no issue. I've moved to a Windows 11 computer with the same profile running a 32bit version of Thunderbird, set as my Windows default mail client, even in the registry I've set it there but Quickbooks says I don't have a default email client setup. I've exhausted every search over the internet trying to fix it. Any ideas?

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. I am having an issue where when I right click an image when on the image tab of a search engine, it only has the "Open Image in New Tab" choice in the context menu, with no ability to open the website the image is on in said context menu. ("Open Link in New Tab")

I know this is the opposite of what most folks want, but I see it this way: If you open the image from the context menu right from the search page, it only opens the tiny, fuzzy image that you already could see on the search page. I don't want, nor need, the tiny, pixelated image that I am already looking at.

I want to be able to open it right to the page that the image is on. That way I can see the image in full resolution, or look at the page it is from.

Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me? I've searched and searched, but nothing I've found has worked.

TL;DR I want to remove "Open Image in New Tab" and replace it with "Open Link in New Tab" from the context menu when clicking on images in the image tab of search engines on Firefox. Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me?
