On Facebook I get posts from DoubleDown casino that have internal links to acquire free credits/points. When I click on the link, DoubleDown begins to open but goes "grey" and shows a rotating/pulsating circle but never opens. Any idea why? What do I need to do to get the links to open. No problem with Google.

My FF just updated to v145 (no errors) Now, in Facebook, when I click on comments the field is not displayed. If I close and restart FF, the first time I click on comments the comment field shows as normal, but any subsequent attempts the comment field is no longer visible.

'Gmail continues to require 2-step verification when I sign into one of my gmail accounts. I cannot seem to turn this off, even though I've turned off 2-Step verification on my Google account. Is Firefox part of this situation?

If I go fullscreen in any mediaplayer (such as YouTube, Crunchyroll, Prime Video or Jellyfin) I get a bar at the top and a bar in the left. You can see either the wallpaper or another programm, its like shifted to the right and bottom. I know its a problem with tunred off Hardwareacceleration. If I turn it back on the problem never occurs. I tried with troubleshoot mode enabled but there I couldnt recreate it because the problem does not occur, even after I turn troubleshoot mode off. The problem only occurs again after a complete restart of the computer.

I know there are other posts with the same problem but there was never a solution.

I have an HP AIO w/Win 11 and use Firefox for my browser. Last week I did a reset and since then when I try to use a link in Facebook it won't load. All I get is a greyed-out screen with a pulsating circle. The site the link is programmed to go to is faintly visible behind the greyed out screen. No problems if I use Google. What do I have to do to get Firefox to recognize, and open, legitimate links?

Hello, I really love the translate functionality. In some pages I see very specific terms which are very specific, can I modify the local dictionary after I download it, add the terms somehow and then share it with my peers using the same website?

Well at least I think it did. Facebook has an issue with scrolling through the feed in my group. I don't know whether there's also a problem on the home feed and also one's timeline. The further one goes back, the more sluggish it becomes and it takes longer to display posts. I'm not sure whether this is a browser issue as I haven't tested on other browsers, or a problem with Facebook pulling stuff out of the drawers in its archives. Maybe it's a memory issue due to all posts needing to be loaded in memory so it's possible to go back up through the feed to the newest one. Anyway, it gets to the stage after going back through hundreds of posts over 6 months, FB stalls. So I tried clearing my history (I have this set to not clear cookies). I then closed FB and Firefox. When I started Firefox again, I had to agree to cookies and sign into all my social media accounts, Google accounts and also agree to cookies on sites I visit regularly. So obviously a glitch in the browser, causing many, if not all cookies to be deleted.

I just installed Fedora KDE Plasma, and have been trying to launch Firefox, but it keeps completely freezing.

I have tried installing through snap, flatpak and fedoras database, most recently I installed from the tar.xz on the website, and tried launching in safe mode. All of these result in the same behavior.

I have really liked using the "refresh" button with my Firefox browser. The "refresh" button has disappeared from one of my two Dell PC's (I use Windows Eleven, and my Dell PC's have solid state drive). I know there are two other "help" buttons ("troubleshoot mode" and "clear startup cache"). The "refresh" button has really helped me to keep my Firefox browser working properly with my two Dell PC's. Thank you for any comments you might have about this.

Hello, after ff updated, gray line appeared. It does not disappear after changing theme. I am using laptop and a monitor. On laptop browser window goes fully to the top, but when i drag ff to the secondary monitor, gray line appears. I will attach photos.

I only get that damn "JSON, Raw Headers, Data" screen when I try to go to gamestop's website. HOW do I fix this? This is only the latest in a long string of stuff your browser does badly, and if not for the fact you are the only browser Youtube cannot block ad blockers on, I would have tossed your browser a long time ago.

This is the message I get when I try to access my Bookmarks: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have already tried to find out from Microsoft if their latest reinstallation of Office Professional could have caused the problem. They say they have nothing to do with Firefox. How can I get my Bookmarks and History back?
