I recently started having this issue with YouTube in the mobile Firefox browser where if I tap within the video frame (anywhere on the picture) the video pauses/plays just like clicking the video frame on desktop. Before when I tapped the frame it would toggle the overlay play menu with the usual play/skip/settings but the video would continue playing beneath the buttons. To clarify, the play menu always disappears like it should when the video is playing so this is not the "Accessibility player" settings issue.

The issue goes away if I sign out of YT which makes me suspect it's an account settings issue, however I have played with the accessibility and other settings to no avail. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all of my extensions, restarted my phone, signed in and out of youtube/firefox, updated everything, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, no solutions so far, please help!

When playing YouTube videos in fullscreen mode, the video appears to skip as would be expected with frame drops. However, with stats for nerds open on the videos, no frame drops are reported and buffer health is fine (40+ seconds).

I'm on an up to date version of FireFox, I've tried with hardware acceleration both enabled and disabled, I've tried opening task manager to see if system usage looked weird (it doesn't, although it's not like I can have TM running while the video is playing in fullscreen so hard to tell) and am at a complete loss. All drivers for CPU and GPU are verifiably up to date (did full system check three days ago) and the only conclusion I've been able to come to is that it must be either a problem with FireFox or a problem with YouTube. I've seen no recent reports on any of the forums that I can find pointing to either as the culprit. So if anyone has any further ideas or solutions, I'd love to here them.

I have two audio outputs I'm trying to use. I want my main output (device A) to stay as the default, but have Firefox play out of the other (device B). There is no option within the browser's settings to change the output device, so I am controlling them through Windows' Volume Mixer. If I set device B as the system default, it works, and it allows me to change Firefox to play from any output. However, if anything else is set as the system default and I set Firefox to play from device B, it doesn't work. It seems like it ignores only specifically that one device, and only when it is set at an app-specific level. It works on all my other outputs no matter which is the default. Even if I have device B as the system default, then at the app-specific level, set FF to any other device, then select device B, it ignores this and continues to play out of whatever device it played from last. The ONLY way I can get Firefox to play audio from device B is with device B as the system default. It's already disappointing that I can't control this directly from FF settings, but the fact that it's also ignoring my OS settings is really frustrating. I've already contacted Windows support, and they say the problem is with Firefox since all my audio devices are working fine. If anyone can tell me a way to just manage this setting properly in Firefox, some way to get Firefox to recognize the device, or some way to allow my windows settings to take priority over whatever FF is trying to do, that would be greatly appreciated. I had to get a replacement keyboard,and it worked for a while , And then about a week ago, no volume on you tube,google ,but i have audio on mirosoft edge. Checked volume setting's over several times. An advisor told me ,that the logitech keyboard maker,installed optional driver's , that could have caused this? I searched device manager ,to uninstall but didn't find it?

I would like to slow down audio playback. My phone's settings will slow it down in settings, but not when I use a chatbot. I'm not used to hearing anyone talk that fast. No, I rarely listen to radio and don't have a TV. I want a sleep story in a voice that is low, warm and older. I welcome suggestions, please explain like I am 5. Thank you 🖐️

Respected one, since 2 days ago, the sound was lost when playing video content on platform X. I did not make any changes in the settings for M.F. not even in PC, I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANYTHING FOR MONTHS. Do you have any ideas, advice... Thank You for taking the time to solve my problem.

Hello everybody, i hope you are having a great day!. I have a problem with Youtube about the frames drops, in 1080p60fps i have drops but in 1080p normal don't. For system operative i'm using Fedora 43. And the Firefox version is the 145.0.1 64 bits. My specs are low: Intel i5 6200u with his integrated graphics (Intel HD 520) Already installed the extension h264ify, and i think i have all the correct drivers and codecs from the rpmfusion (ffmpeg, mesa freeworld) If u need more detail and information i can give it to you. I am running MacOSX 11.6.8 and have just recently had my Firefox browser update to version 146.0 and it now has a problem with content playback: whether on video or usic, YouTube or Tidal or any other streaming service, whenever playing back content it stops at 2 minutes and 8 seconds, displays the buffering wheel, and doesnt come back on its own. If I hit pause and then hit play again, it starts playing again fine. But then after 2 minutes and 8 seconds it stops again and I have to restart it again. And again. And again every 2 minutes and 8 seconds. This is a very odd problem, is anyone else experiencing this? It is very annoying.
