No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?

Hello, I've been watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern and after about half an hour it crashes. I get a message to send a report and restore the tab. I restore the tab which works for maybe ten minutes and crashes again. I am using Windows 11 on a new computer. I'd appreciate some assistance. Thanks. Bruce Caress

I am experiencing significant stability issues with Firefox. When I use YouTube, the entire browser frequently hangs (becomes unresponsive) and eventually crashes. This does not happen on all websites, but it is consistent when playing video content on YouTube.

• Symptoms: The browser "stacks" or freezes completely; I cannot click tabs or menus until the browser finally closes/crashes.

• Extensions: I am currently using extensions like SponsorBlock, uBlock origin. I am unsure if this is the cause, but the issue persists during video playback.

• Hardware: I am running this on a laptop with an 16gb 4800mhz RAM, i7 12th Gen processor and an RTX 3070 GPU.

1. Is there a known compatibility issue between current Firefox builds and SponsorBlock or similar video-modifying extensions?

1. Could this be related to hardware acceleration settings with my NVIDIA GPU?

1. What steps should I take to provide crash logs to help identify the root cause?

Lately my Firefox app window will just randomly close while I'm using it. I notice most often on Facebook, but that's because it's the most often used page.

When I reopen the app, it's like I just opened it, not like it got minimized.

What's wrong with it? I have it updated to current version, as well as I've run malware and virus scans to see if it's my phone. Nothing found.

Hello, I’ve been increasingly frustrated over the past few weeks with your browser, which I prefer over all the others, because it keeps crashing constantly. I’ve tried several small fixes suggested by IT professionals, such as clearing the cache, running an antivirus scan, and deleting my browsing history, but the issue persists with no improvement. At this point, my last option seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but I’m concerned about losing my bookmarks. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? M. For about 2 weeks, EVERY time I try to write an email, after typing a few lines or so, the whole window 'grays out' and becomes UN-responsive. I get no error message. Waiting for it to respond doesn't work and I have to close out and re-start Thunderbird. Sometimes Thunderbird will have saved some portion of my email in my 'Drafts' folder, but not reliably, so I have to frequently 'Control + S' - save it to avoid having to re-type the entire message again. Troubleshoot Mode doesn't help, nor does clearing the cache. I've been hoping an update would come up that would solve this, either from Thunderbird or Windows (11), but not so far. Please tell me how I should resolve this - I have used Thunderbird for years (and regularly contribute too) and don't want to have to change to different email client.

All the tabs, in both my profiles are constantly crashing. I cannot keep at a task for more than a few minutes without needing to restart the tab. Is this a setting problem? I've cleared the cache, and reset Firefox, to no avail. Thank you for any relevant advice and/or assistance.

Hello, Randomly but frequently enough to be annoying, Firefox freezes my entire laptop. I have windows 11. It freezes so badly that I have to hold down the on/off button until it goes off. I looked it up outside of Firefox help and, per suggestions, turned off the hardware accelerator. That seemed to work for a little while but now it's happening again with greater frequency. There doesn't seem to be any exact situation that causes it which makes it very hard to diagnose. But it's enough that I'm thinking of looking for another browser so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

Hi The tabs have crashed notice keeps coming up on every change of page !!! I have the latest version installed with all my passwords saved, I am not a PC wizard so please explain how to solve this simply its driving me crazy !

Getting "Mozilla Firefox Crash Reporter" problem message when attempting to print files (Docs & Sheets) from Google Cloud. Errors messages have appeared on Lenova Thinkpad laptop in Firefox since mid Dec update. Can print existing files located on desktop, just not from cloud. Both HP and Epson Printers test fine, can print 'test pages'. Tried downloading files from cloud to pc....opening downloads, got same Firefox problem message and crashed. Have used same firefox browser and same printers for several years. Rebooted several times, same error. Can print, 'printer test pages'. Do I have a switch turned off/on or is this a browser problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Zainstalowałem thunderbirda. Dodałem 4 konta pocztowe, wszystko działa jak należy.

Problem pojawił się przy dodawaniu kolejnego konta email. Po wpisaniu nazwy i adresu e-mail, program się wiesza/ładuje (załączona grafika) na kroku "wyszukiwanie konfiguracji".

W opcjach/ustawieniach nie znalazłem nigdzie możliwości wyłączenia tego wyszukiwania i przejścia od razu do wpisywania serwerów imap/smtp.

Jak sobie z tym poradzić?

Firefox keeps crashing and loosing what I type on pages like this.

It happenst the most if you have to check another application or answer a call. But, it also does this when copying over passcodes from other applications to a webpage.

This frequently happens with the latest version on the Android mobile platform.

I didn't change any setting personally anf this has never had any issues until now.

I'm running Thunderbird 128.5.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 10.

After it has been running for some time (usually half an hour), Thunderbird starts freezing up. It seems to be stuck at getting new messages from the server.

I can't close the window when writing a new message, I can't read e-mails and even closing Thunderbird doesn't work. I have to maually end the process in the task manager. CPU load and RAM are not affecter and all other programs on the computer work fine.

If I run Thunderbird in troubleshoot mode, these issues are not present. I have no active extensions (just one disabled), I'm using the default theme.

Any ideas what could be causing these issues or how to troubleshoot this?

I have used TB since Windows XP days, so very familiar with it. Currently using 140.2.0esr on Windows 10.

Two or three days ago TB updated to 140.x and since then, it has been crashing every time I compose a message. Within two minutes at most, the program hangs, the GUI becomes unresponsive, and Process Explorer reports that TB is using 16.79% of the CPU. It stays that way indefinitely.

After a lot of observation (and saving drafts, and restarting TB over and over and over) I have narrowed this down to typing the apostrophe character. Typing a word like "shouldn't" will hang TB, sometimes on the ' character, and sometimes a second or two later which allows a few more letters to be typed. The problem persists with Troubleshooting Mode enabled.

I have changed nothing in TB. At least, nothing I am aware of. Same keyboard as last week.

This started yesterday. Opening Thunderbird I get a popup saying its from Yahoo and it has my Yahoo mail address on it. If I delete that popup by clicking the upper right "X" another popup takes its place. And so, and so on. One popup after another all for various Yahoo products. Meanwhile Thunderbird can not be used - can't write, can't send and can't receive anything on Thunderbird.

What do I do??? If I reinstall Thunderbird I will loose all my saved emails, and anyway will that work???

I have run my antivirus, checking my whole disks, and nothing.

How do I get rid of the Yahoo popups???? Please someone help me.
