I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Firefox as I have used it for years. Although I imported my passwords and they are correct it will not log in to sites I need for work. It isn't telling me I have the wrong pw or id, it just does nothing.

I have updated windows, I have uninstalled and reinstalled....I don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

When I print an email, TB prints all of this technical jargon such as X-MS-Exchange lines, and what seems to be the background handshake protocols behind the email. I just want the contents of the email printed. May I ask how I fix this, please?

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered while using the Firefox browser. Specifically, I am unable to take screenshots on the website https://hescoebill.pk/hesco-mis/. This issue persists despite numerous attempts, and it seems to be unique to this particular website. Is there any other way to take screenshot of site? I really want to take a screenshot for personal reason. Is it not allowed from the site owner side or what?

I have 4 accounts with different names but all with the same domain name (name1@samedomain.com, name2@samedomain.com ...). The first one set up perfectly and works. The 2nd and the 3rd can't retrieve mail from the server (didn't try the 4th yet). The SSL ports are the same for all. The passwords happen to be the same for all. (I haven't tried changing the 2nd and 3rd passwords as that seems unlikely to be the problem.) When initially setting up the 2nd or the 3rd I get a "Sending of password for user name2@samedomain.com did not succeed. Mail server pop.yyy.zzz responded: [AUTH Authentification failed." I've checked the passwords on both the client and the server ends multiple times and they are the same. Then, of course, periodically I get a pop-up with "Login to server pop.xxx.yyy with username name2@samedomain.com failed. When I go to the Account Settings screen with the 3 accounts and click on each Server Settings one after another, the only thing that changes is the User Name, yet the first account receives mail and the other 2 don't so everything is correctly set up. As an aside, I CAN SEND emails from the 2nd and 3rd accounts but can only RECEIVE and SEND from the 1st. Any help appreciated.

When I answer an email TB adds Re: (or Fwd: ) in the subject line which I have laways found annoying. My previous email client allwed me not to have this happen. Is it possible to stop this?

The program says I now have 11 emails which haven't been opened but there are no emails to open, just emails received previously. Apparently I am receiving but they are not visible to me. what happened and how to fix. I'm an amateur and don't understand computer commands.

Most of the time I cannot print my emails because an "add blocker" is installed. So now, I no longer use Firefox, since when I use Microsoft, I have no such problem.

I have an issue where I go to website and I get a message that the website is temporarily available. I cannot go to a different webpage for what URL I want. I believe this has to do with history. I suspect I can get past this by flushing the history. I can get to the website I want by using a different browser such as chrome. Ho do I fix this?

Issue summary: I lost over 100 sites listed in the Cookies and Site Data section when I simply removed a few websites in the Enhanced Tracking Protection section.

Under the Browser Privacy section, the two subheads, "Enhanced Tracking Protection" and "Cookies and Site Data" serve two distinct purposes—as I understand. Enhanced Tracking Protection will automatically add the URL of a webpage (that you currently have open) to the Enhanced Tracking Protection screen whenever you disable the shield in the search bar. This will turn off tracking for that website until turn you it back on. You can also manually add websites to the Enhanced Tracking Protection screen if you have mulitples to add. This whitelist will stay active until you delete them or click on the shield to turn it back on.

The Cookies and Site Data section further down, allows you to create a list of sites that you want to BLOCK, ALLOW FOR SESSION, or ALLOW cookies and site data to be used, and retained or not. This differs from the Enhanced Tracking Protection section.

Today, I wanted to delete one of the websites listed in the Enhanced Tracking Protection, and did so manually. But since there were only a couple listed (I rarely add to this screen), I simply clicked on "Remove All Websites" instead of "Remove Website." Unfortunately, when I went down to the Cookies and Site Data list (which I use all the time) to add a new URL today, my entire list was gone! I did not remove or enter anything in the Cookies and Site Data screen today, prior to using the Enhanced Tracking Protection screen.

As you can guess, I am sick because I had over 100 sites listed in the Cookies and Site Data section, and lost them all when I removed the few websites in the Enhanced Tracking Protection section. I don't know why or how this happened, but it is worth noting that I did just update Firefox this morning to vs 125.0.2 (from 124.0.2). My list is gone, but does anyone have a reason why it happened and is there a way to prevent that in the future? Or is it some kind of bug with the latest release or an earlier one. (I haven't opened the Enhanced Tracking Protection screen for a long time, so it could be from any past release.) Sorry I don't have more info than that. Any solutions would be appeciated.

We have used Firefox for access to certain sites for years. Recently, we wanted access to particular sites, but the info boxes needed would now not allow entries. Then, we went to Chrome and there was no problem entering the info. Please provide a response to resolve these issues of Firefox not allowing data entry, but Chrome allowing data entry for the same sites.

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I have tried: Running Firefox in safe mode (Shift + Left Click) Resetting Firefox Switching Back to default themes Disabling hardware acceleration Updating to the latest Beta Build (v126) Running Firefox Developer edition

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

Hello, have been scratching my head for a while on this one. Have a freshly setup install of Debian 12, using Sway (wayland) as my Window Manager. I am really struggling with slowness in Firefox, page loads take easily 15 seconds whereas loading the exact same page in another window at the same time with Chromium Debian build has near instantaneous load times. I've tried the following troubleshooting steps: - Created a new firefox profile - Tried "Troubleshooting Mode" in Firefox - Disabled ipv6 in firefox about:config and in Debian - Tried different DNS servers - Tried different non-debian specific builds of Firefox - Tried Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly for Debian

None of these steps made any difference, and Chromium has continued to be significantly faster. Am really stuck here and would love to get to the bottom of this as Firefox is the only browser that works with a HiDPI display in Sway without blurryness. Happy to provide any and all diagnostics and reports that are needed. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: It seems to be some kind of networking issue, using a VPN solves it. But still doesn't explain why Chromium would behave differently.

This has been happening for months now, on multiple devices (I have tried at least 3 different devices), and on multiple networks.

I have read the articles in here, but they just want me to check network configuration which is exactly the same for all browsers.

If I restart firefox it starts working again.

How can I prevent it from breaking randomly? This is the only browser having issues, I'm almost positive is some bug and not a configuration thing, given that it happens under multiple circumstances and devices, while Edge and Chrome simply keep working just fine.

There is no consistent repro I can give, afaik it is just random, at some point Firefox just decides to stop working and I have to restart it. This disrupts my work and browsing activities as I can lose progress on input forms and similar actions.

Just switching between inboxes can cause up to a 10 second delay with Thundebird "not responding" with the spinning wheel. It has been like this for the last few laptops I've had and through all the updates and I am getting ready to call it quits. emails load very slowly or the app stalls & doesn't respond. Often I have to tap twice to open an email. When deleting an email it can take a couple seconds especially when deleting multiple. I can hit the delete button several time & have to wait several seconds for it to finally catch up. This has been happening for a few months now & is getting worse. Sometimes the pictures in the message load one at a time. It was working right, then one day it started lagging & hasn't been right since.

something apparently got corrupted in firefox.. i tried running update and i keep getting failed to update.. i have refreshed.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled ...nothing. i am sure there is a folder or file somewhere that is corrupted and i cannnot find it. because even when i uninstall and reinstall fresh. all my bookmarks are there .. how to i start a TRUE NEW install??
