When a video plays, it will be laggy for a few seconds, the came back normal. Sometimes it doesn't recover from it. This happened almost everytime for the Firefox 124.2 version, seems like it has a frame rate cap.

As I installed the Firefox 122.0 version, it only appears a few times a moment, but still face a small chance to occur.

Phone specs: Vivo v21e Funtouch OS 12 Android version 12

Firefox for Android does not follow system theme changes i.e. dark to light.

Discovered on Samsung Galaxy A22, Android 14 and Firefox 124.2.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Configure Android to automatically switch themes. For Samsung Galaxy this is Settings - Dark Mode Settings - Turn on as scheduled
2. Wait until Android toggles theme from dark to light.
3. Notice Firefox has a black border.
4. Go into Application info for Firefox and force stop, then reopen
5. Now notice it doesn't.

This question was asked by someone else in November 2023 but never sign answer. When I click on a link to an address Mozilla should open my Google maps and put that address in automatically. Instead it goes to the Play store to download Google but since I already have it installed I click continue and it opens up Google maps but no address. How do I fix this or is this a glitch in Mozilla?

Routing the Nekobox proxy through AdGuard does not work in Firefox for Android. In Nekobox, it looks like the packet is sent and connected, but in whatsmyipadress, the original IP address is displayed. I put the local host address and port number for Nekobox in http.proxy in about:config and restarted, but the original IP address is still displayed.

Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

why can't I use the lingq importer extention? I get a message for all my extentions that says: firefox extension can't read and change data on this site. It's preventing me from using the LingQ importer extention.

Process is below: 1. I can successfully navigate to add-ins and choose and add-in to download 2. I can successfully click Add to Thunderbird 3. The screen in the attachment below is shown 4. I cannot get past this screen. If i click Add nothing happens and Thunderbird eventually shuts down.

I am using Debian Linux in a virual env on chromebook currently on version 115.10.1 (64-bit) of thunderbird.

Hello. Our organization is experiencing an issue where sound settings are not carrying over correctly to Firefox. Specifically, this is with speaker settings. In multiple calling platforms (tested in Genesys Cloud and Teams), we are not able to adjust the settings for the speaker that audio plays from. We can adjust the default microphone setting, but not the speaker setting. This is only occurring in Firefox (works fine in Edge and Chrome).

Additionally, we've tried adjusting the default audio settings by going to Windows > Sound settings > App volume and device preferences, and changing the settings specifically for Firefox on this page. This does not work. When we check Teams or Genesys Cloud, it seems like Firefox is just picking any default without a rhyme or reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have just imported my old email from Outlook to TB Local Folders. Everything works out except some of the email (not all) show a wrong date in the email list. The date show a future date like 2/7/2101, 6:28 AM. Please check the attached image. Any idea?

Until yesterday everything was fine. I was able to complete recaptcha. But when I tried searching something today, I couldn't do it because of the recaptcha. It was stuck on infinite loading. Every website I visited the problem was there. I tried fixing it from the tips I found in the forum here but nothing seems to work. I was frustrated. Then I tried Brave browser and it was working. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

To check my icloud email, I log into icloud.com, enter my password, got through a two step authorization process and ask to stay signed in. I successfully access my email messages. When opening a message that has a hyperlink, I lose the iclolud connection. The link opens in a new browser window, but when i return to the email I am frequently signed out. Apple support does not know what the issue is; they suggested a different browser. This does not seem to happen with Microsoft Edge - and I don't want to use it.

hello, how can i copy my Linux mint Thunderbird profiles over to windows 10? i get a copy alarm "can not copy symbolic link" when i try to copy the .thunderbird directory to my dos formatted usb drive. i do see that the linux profile directory has both imapmail and ImapMail directories. i believe this is the issue. when i am copying from linux to the dos usb drive, the error window askes to skip/cancel the directory it is troubled by. as both imapmail and ImapMail have the same size and file count, can i just skip one of the directories? is either better on the dos side? thank you for your time. I am running version 125.0.3 (64-bit) on Windows 11, and I can't check for updates and have to manually download each new version after given a popup telling me that the latest Firefox update couldn't be installed. I've tried restarting the computer, tried running the Mozilla Maintenance Service, and installing the latest updates for Firefox and Windows 11. Nothing I've tried has worked, and no other help article has helped me thus far.

I have tried all fixes suggested by others reporting similar problems with previous versions, but this was noticeable for me yesterday afternoon right after some downtime and the latest version (for me) of Firefox was installed. Every time I try to use a site requiring recaptcha, the wheel spins and I get no choice to log in. I've cleared cookies and my cache, refreshed Firefox, etc. Nothing works.
