my access to my email stopped 4 days ago the sign in does not accept the password for my email I can't change the password without signing in. I have made no changes to the account.

Thunderbird will not accept any of my passwords. I get this error message : "login to server smtp-mail.outlook.com failed."

In Firefox, and Firefox only, in every version for the last several months, I have found it impossible to get Firefox to allow websites to "remember this device", even when I check that option. Every day I log in to a website, for example Tmobile, and I have to get a code emailed to me. I check "remember this device so you won't need a code next time", but the next time I log in, the same thing happens. Over and over with many sites. This does not happen with any other browser, except Firefox. How do I get Firefox to allow me to save my info? I really don't want to use Chrome, Safari, Brave, or Edge, but I do not have this problem with any of them. Only Firefox. And yes, I've checked my settings, and everything I can see says Firefox should be saving this info.

hello, went to open up thunderbird this morning. it wont sign in. its asking for password and/or retry. says "login to server centurylink.net with username ( my email address ) failed.

My email provider required that I change my email password as they had seen an unusual log-in. I did this and have changed the password on the Thunderbird desktop, but now I can receive mail but not send any. I get the message Thunderbird was unable to log in to the email server. I have Thunderbird on my phone and that works for both receiving and sending mail. It seems Thunderbird has updated the password for the incoming mail server but not for the outgoing one. I also updated Thunderbird Desktop to 128.9.2.esr (64-bit) .

My Thunderbird is suddenly asking me to enter the password for my email address on smtp.gmail.com . It's not accepting the password I thought was the correct one. How do I find out what my Thunderbird password is or change it?

Another question about FireFox. I believe I have everything set correctly, please see attachment, but FireFox is not asking me to save my sign in credentials for my Apple account. It was working two days ago when I had to count on it remembering those credentials from over 2 years ago in order to change my password. After changing it I have signed in a few times to get it to remember my new password but it isn't asking me. Any idea why and how I can correct it?

I keep getting a box that says: "Login to account failed"

Then a blue question mark and "Login to server inbound.att.net. with username failed

Then three tabs: Retry - Enter New Password - Cancel

I put in the correct password each time, and the box just keeps coming back up.

Hello, I use IMAP/SMTP email, yesterday I changed my email password via the website. After this change, Thunderbird does not want to log me in, I keep getting the message that the address, password or configuration is incorrect. Please help me solve this problem

I am unable to us my Thunderbird email as it asks me to sign in but does not recognize my password and asks for my new password, which I don't know what it is as I have never made a new password, I need help to solve this problem.

I have had a Thunderbird email account for over 5 years (and donated often). Yesterday, my old computer "died" and I was not able to save any data or settings. So I have another one, and am attempting to set up another Thunderbird email account. For years, I have had an ATT email. To make sure of my ATT password, I accessed my att account and copied my password (1234Kf4321), which I entered into the proper field in the Thunderbird setup form. When I click "DONE" the "checking email" field displays a continues, looping circle, but there is no indication that the process of setting up my Tb. email account is complete. Please help! I accidentally told Firefox to autofill a password for a website. I have followed all methods I found on web & in Mozilla support without success., except I don't want to stop or delete ALL autofills. Firefox doesn't show this password as saved (even when I search for it by URL), and the "Saved Logins" section of "passwords & security" [in settings] NO longer exists. I do NOT want to delete all autofills. I also checked my settings for this website, and it is NOT causing the autofill. Please: How do I stop Firefox from autofilling of a password for a SINGLE website? Thank you!

I've changed primary email some time ago and wanted to login using a new device. However, login fails with "Incorrect email case" and response contains my old email under "errors[0].extensions". After that, there is another request doing login with old email, which seem to be successful, however the whole operation fail and page only shows "Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again.". Trying to login directly with an old email leads to "Primary account email required for sign-in" error. Please assist.

A window pops up asking me to sign in to google. But that window does not have the toolbar, so I can't access my password manager (Bitwarden). And when I click continue in that windows, google does not get my passkey.
